Mr. Mike was professional, friendly and patient explaining what was available for the type of articles I needed to store. He offered to show me the storages so that I could make the decision. The checkout process was seamless. He gave me a printout that detailed storage rent and explained any extra fees that could be associated. There was no guessing. The security gate is very convenient and I did not have to use those cumbersome codes to secure in and out. The storage grounds were immaculent and the storage unit was so clean. I was provided one months free rent and that really really helped me. I will rent my moving truck and supplies from here also.

It took 30-45 minutes just to submit all pictures and made the experience very stressful. However all equipment was in well working conditions and no other issues arose.

When I arrived in Pensacola after driving about 500 miles, the other location didn’t find any storage for me, saying it’s a high season, but they called Katherine and she said: we’ll find something. And they did. Besides that they found what was a kinda small for my stuff, they went an extra mile and arranged an extra storage for my sofas. Every minute of communication I felt that the couple treated my belongings and my problem as their own. Mild in conversation, strong in their word keeping, willing to help, Katherine and Mike deserve more than just an excellent review and a hug. Thank you so much and see you soon.

I’ve used uhaul many times and she was BY FAR the friendliest and most helpful associate I’ve worked with. She was fantastic and made my moving process less stressful.

BHARAT PMan at the front desk who assisted me was not very helpful. All I was looking for was a dozen furniture pads and my entire interaction with him took well over 20+ minutes. He was very slow, did not know the price of items, and also incorrectly filled out my contract for the furniture pads. He misused my current address as the address I was headed to (for a one-way rental). He also never asked me how long I needed the furniture pads for and only gave me 1 day. When I asked him to correct the information, he told me to “just call the 1-800 number on the paper and they’ll change it for you.” In other words, they would extend the contract and change the drop off location. I immediately called the number and they could not do either of those things and had to add a note to my contract saying I was dropping them off somewhere else/ a location in Tampa, Florida. When I got to the U-Haul location in Tampa, they charged me $2 for returning them there since it was the “wrong location.” This was not a great experience.

The only thing I wish would be different with rental companies is to have the vehicle full of fuel. It's much more convenient to fill a vehicle than to try and return and match the partially fueled vehicle.

Debra VI spoke directly with Christine and was told I would have a drive up storage unit. When I arrived, Mike told me he was putting me on the 3rd floor. The people who were helping me had to change their previous arrangements because it took a lot of extra time to unload. It also made packing the storage unit much more disorganized. Not everything fit. Was never told why this change was made. This will affect the unloading of the locker in a few weeks as well. I guess when they're giving you a free locker for just a few weeks they can do whatever they want and don't care what it does to you.

Also, because the location is a storage facility as well there was an automatic gate and car traffic which interfered with parking and trailer pick up. Since there is another U-Haul location 1/4 mile away I will never use this location again and don’t know why it is necessary anyway

But his system, was not updated to this fact. The unit was already rented and I had to get one behind the gate for an extra $10.00 per month. Also, Public Storage corporate in their marketing materials stated the unit would be five feet by feet by feet. The unit is not five feet tall. It is smaller. Also, their is a fire sprinkler system in the storage unit, blocking space that I could use. But Mr. Harris, told me I would get the first month free. NIce Southern couple running the storage station.

This was stressful, but also understandable given the extenuating circumstances after Hurricane Sally. You can tell they are local owners and operators because they did not even have a hint of a "not my problem" attitude. She assured us she would make something work, and she did. Sure, it would've been easier if the system had worked the first time, but that's life and you get a better a look at someone's character when things go wrong. Laurie B | Overall ExperienceI didn’t receive a swipe card they have them but says most people loose them and don’t really like the fact that I have to get out the car to punch in a code and then I was charged 5.00 extra a month to get a clicker when if the key pad was where I could drive up and punch in code and even if they had given me a card I still have to get out the car and then 5.00 extra for a clicker because their key pad isn’t stationed where I can drive up and stay in the car in this day and time is like wow. And if the location is gate and key accessed but I can’t access it 24 hours is ridiculous only 5am to 10pm and when I asked about 24 hour access I was told it would be an extra charge is ridiculous if they have cameras and gates why can’t I access it 24/7
