The manager, I think her name is Jessie, was fantastic. Super helpful and accommodating. Very happy with my experience.

Cumbersome check out process. Tank read 2/3 full and between pulling out of the parking space and the exit of the parking lot the gas gauge went down 1/9th. So was scammed a bit. I know if I didn’t return it to a full 2/3 I would be penalized. You should credit me for 2 gallons of gas @$3.09 a gallon. In the future talks should be FULL. I am a customer and that is a normal expectation when renting a vehicle.

Helen HThe check engine light turned on in the truck once it was filled with all of the moving items. The truck did not accelerate upon pressing the gas pedal. Another truck was not available and I was provided with a van. I had to transfer all of the items from the truck into the van. This caused a significant delay in my schedule and undue stress.

MICHAEL WI rented truck last minute and they had it there. They have a good inventory of trucks and vans. Also love that I can park there and leave my car. Very close to I-95 too, so keeps miles down. Like checking in with an onsite agent and she was very efficient and helpful. Strongly recommend this location! Have used them several times.

THOMAS GTruth, well to tell you the truth the lady Jeff is someone who sold me my truck from UHAUL but overall she’s one of a kind someone that’s patient. Take your time to deal with her customers always putting a smile on even when she doesn’t feel that way inside and making the customer smile, you all couldn’t do better without her in this area. I’ve been to plenty areas because I use the trucks or Moving projects and other things but I’m always getting a truck although I don’t like the pricing she makes it worth my money and wow, does she give great advice she uses experience that’s very knowledgeable. She’s most of the time on point haven’t not ever seen her not on point. There’s so many things I can say about her. I want to tire you guys out. I’ll just save this Jesse from UhAul and Norwalk one Czel Street is perfect for the customers and I’m sure for her own family. The way she treat people is so hard to say or give her a great compliment because it’s overall everything I don’t like the prices and damn I can’t wait to go get another truck. Thanks for Jessy. HERNAN GOverall a good experience but I found it very inconvenient to locate the truck first, only to move to the next step and be told I have to come into the office for the keys on the opposite side of the parking lot and then have to walk back to the truck. I don't mind walking but moving days are stressful enough - plus the added layer of being on a time crunch - this part just felt like a waste of time. Apart from that, it was a seamless experience.
Elizabeth ISearch options can be better. I went to the office in person, was told that there was nothing available, left, and got a call from a customer service rep saying that something was indeed available -- at the exact same location. It's nice that something was available, but they couldn't find that in their database? Pure speculation here, but this seems more of an issue with U-Haul's internal database maintenance rather than an issue with the on-site staff. This SNAFU aside, staff was friendly and helpful, and generally a delight to deal with. I would definitely recommend this location to a friend, based on the high quality of customer service.
ALEXANDER HMy complaint is about the system for picking up the truck, specifically the identification requirements at the site. All of that could have been done in advance - as a retiree I did not have an employer to refer to, and I don't carry my passport around when I'm travelling within the US. Fortunately I did have a Passport Card in my wallet, which saved the day, otherwise I'd have been screwed. Figuring out which was my truck and the lockbox system took a bit but was OK. The location and truck and performance were good.
John CJessie assisted me with the check in and check out. She is wonderful! Very professional, helpful and courteous. She explained everything in detail. Would highly recommend the services at this UHaul location.

John RI’ve had this truck twice and both times the downshift felt like I was hitting a wall. The truck actually pinned in 2nd at close to full red line and wouldn’t shift up. I tried slowing down but I had cars behind me - I thought I was going to blow the motor. I feel like I got charge full price for half a truck.
