My rating reflects my dissatisfaction with U-Haul's unilateral change of my designated drop-off location without prior notification. The contract specified a particular location; however, upon arrival, I was informed of an alteration for which I received no advance communication via text, phone call, or email, resulting in considerable inconvenience.
Braulio RThere were multiple problems with the trailer. Bad tire (your guy saw that when I returned the trailer), out of round. Problems with the brakes or the bearings, it was dragging, awful to tow. Rocked side to side (I know this can be due to poor loading), and I think there's a problem with the springs (don't know if the trailer has shocks).

BARBARA BThe only issue I had was that I reserved a truck and a car trailer at a location about 3 miles from my house thinking that I would pick it up at that location. I called the day before to make sure everything was ready and found out I had to drive to another location that was 14 miles away. No one called to let me know what was going on with my order. I had a tight schedule to keep so I could make certain destinations each day. I went and picked it up the day before so we could leave as planned. Uhaul could do a better job on their planning.

BRUCE LCheck equipment and tires thoroughly before trip from Florida to Pennsylvania. Flat tire on car dolly only a couple hours into trip. Waited 1 hour for roadside to change tire. Not happy.

DUSTIN GThe truck pulls badly to the right. To the point you’re scared you might wreck and the muffler needs replaced as well as new spark plugs. I was even charged an extra $96 for it being late. Zack NBrand new building very clean except there are ZERO trash cans anywhere. Rented a truck returned it with the same amount of gas. Bought gas 10 minutes before returning the truck. Got charged $10 for gas. Provided photos to the manager. He said I was 1/16 of a tank low (in the margin of error) and would not credit me back the $10 in fuel. I told him that I rented 4 storage units from UHaul and he told me that if I wasn't happy I should terminate my contracts and move out. Contact me if you want to read the email thread. This manager is bad for UHaul and bad for UHaul customers.
STEVEN GManager "Bravo" and his staff are a great team! They ALL have been extremely nice and helpful! I now (as of 2.24.25) have rented moving trucks twice and have rented two storage units at their facility. They are my Go To Place for all of my moving & storage needs in north Manatee County.

Linda C | Overall ExperienceThe customer service agent at your store was very helpful, but we scheduled to receive our truck from Lakewood Ranch, because that is where we were moving from. When we arrived and waited almost a half an hour for the virtual assistant, we were told our pickup had been rerouted. What? I received no advance phone call letting me know this. Nor was I asked for the next most convenient location. I had arranged for people to help us and they had to wait over an hour for us to return with the truck. We were sent to Palmetto, your location, which was 30 minutes away from us. Then, on top of that, we were moving to Sarasota. So after moving all day, the next morning we had to drive from Sarasota to Palmetto instead of just being able to return the truck to the location near my house (SRQ airport area). So, not a great moving weekend.

I sad I was just here to pick up driver of the rental and he said please move it. It was 7:30 pm on a Friday night no on is getting the garbage. Attendant came out after and said how did you pay? I said credit card he said ok I will send receipt. No receipt as of Sunday as I write this review. Just no concern at the location

I was declined the opportunity at my request to add insurance prior to my even pulling off U-Haul property. Prevented me from traveling further needed distance & unnecessary stress ...

Pedro T | First ImpressionsBryan was super helpful and nice but the actual computer system he was using to get me in my unit was a mess. It put two units then it would not allow him to correct it. The entire event lasted over an hour and I needed up having to leave and come back because he had to get on with tech support. When I came back the next day, I signed my contract and was told my number. There were no actual instructions provided about how to get in or which key pad to use. I would recommend providing instructions to new clients. Then once I got to the correct place and to my unit, I found that it still had a green safety lock on it. This just added to my frustrations for the entire even. None of this was Bryan’s fault as he was not here when I came back, but it did not leave a great first impression on me. After calling up to the front office someone came and removed the lock and I was able to get in. Just took way longer than it should have to get a unit.

He sent us to a place that was closed. But the manager was of storage. She helped got a long personal call I couldn't get her off the phone. It ended up she couldn't get the box to open. So now 2 place on the 3rd I git it. 4 hours late. I was out in 15 MInutes. It has been returned yesturday checked in .. thank you. I have storage down the road The truck I used I put on 18 miles I think Of it was at the first place it was not even a mile. And Mt storage Is 4 miles from the place I am leaving. So I paid about 20 miles and messes my day up about 4 hours. I don't think I should of paid for the 20 extra miles on the truck. I had one reserved that was less than 1 mile I had to go to 3 places. I am short on time... and I shouldn't
