I wasn’t very happy with the rental. It says $19.95 a day but I was charged for two days. I got it at 11 and brought it back around nine. About ten hours. I also asked specifically about after hours drop off. Do I need to get on the app and do something to close?. I was told to just drop the key in the mailbox and they would take care of it. I then read that they would take care of it for another $20. I was not given any information on the truck. Around 3:30 I realize I can’t figure out how to turn on the lights. I had to stop at a storage facility that was a UHaul dealer and he told me how they worked the truck had to be in gear. The interior of the truck was well maintained. There were open areas where something was missing. I could barely see the dash because the lights were on dim and I had no idea how to turn them up. Maybe a printed paper with simple instructions on how to turn the lights air conditioner emergency lights and so on. In the end it cost me over $200 to use the truck for less than a half a day. I’m not sure I rented a truck four times as big of this one , drove from Las Vegas to California and back for two days and it didn’t cost much more than I paid yesterday.

I have my storage from 2016 to 2024 and I loved it the next time I get a storage it'll definitely be-Haul the Rialto location was excellent nice and friendly workers and if I had to do it again it'll be U-Haul I have the pleasure of being a customer for you keep up the good work

Vehicle smelled of stale smoke and Marijuana. Vehicle was also FILTHY. Inside the cab and in the cargo area. Dolly was added to my order. No dolly was provided. Not sure I'd do business in the future with Uhaul.

A lock was placed on our storage unit for late payment. When the payment was paid and satisfied, the lock was forgotten about by the management for 2 entire months, literally 8 weeks, after the payment was paid. We had no access to our storage when we needed it and had no way to move out of the unit even when our last 2 monthly payments were satisfied EARLY and taken by auto pay! Management did not call us even when they realized their own mistake, we still had to contact them only to hear the manager lady say "Oh yeah I noticed that happened last night and your good to go now." No apologies or accountability.

I have utilize this facility for the past six years and prior to that five years. Therefore, I've been with the company over ten years. I overall had a pleasant experience . Unfortunately there's that one experience that trump's everything. Mary Navajo at the Rialto store was rude and spoke to me in a condescending manner regarding my move out. Customer service is not as it used to be. I'm not one to get into power struggle so I didn't engage however, I suggest a training on customer service is needed for Mary's conduct. It was absolutely egregious.

We rented a 26’ truck for a cross country move. Upon picking up the truck we were told about getting the first month free on a storage unit with the rental. First, it was difficult finding a location that had the capacity we needed. Second, the staff of 2 were both on lunch at the same time so the office was closed until they both finished. Multiple customers, in addition to my party, had to wait for the better part of an hour to be helped. Third, upon finally being helped we learned that each location did not have to honor the promotion based on criteria we couldn’t have known about before hand. The truck had advertisements regarding the promotion but had no fine print to view. Even speaking to customer service before arriving at the unit made no mention of fine print. I may never rent a vehicle from U-Haul again and I certainly will never use the storage service.

The storage unit above my bottom unit had a bad water leak every time it rained and the same top unit stored some type of oil that leaked through the ceiling onto majority of my stored paperwork, books and household item’s which have now been ruined! I have brought up this issue many times to the office staff and had no success in repairing the leakage issues! This storage location was very quick to call and remind me that my due date was approaching but neglected every call I’ve ever made about the leaking problem and my rates went up extremely high which was absolutely unnecessarily for the tiny space I had at this Rialto location. Hour’s and access where great except for the office staff who had poor attitudes, would have the office closed for more than an hour and a half during work hours, where very young and always smelled like pot every time I came into the office, maybe that’s why they never took care of any issues because they where to high to remember. I do not recommend storing anything important at this location as I am trying to find a way to get this company to pay for my loses due to the office staff neglect of my issues and property, the office staff just said to take it up the loss with my insurance. Very upset and frustrated with Rialto Uhaul Storage!!!

My unit got infested with rats from a neighboring unit and all they could say was oh well about my stuff. I’m a single mother starting over and literally had dead rats with there heads chewed off falling out of my sectional couch. Had to completely replace my living room furniture and sons bedroom. Will never recommend a UHaul storage unit to anyone if they actually care about there stuff. There is no way the place didn’t know there units had rat problems with the type of damage and amount of dead rats found in there in the short period I had the unit.

I had a HORRIBLE experience with Extra Space Storage in Palm Springs. My code didn’t work to get out the gate and non of the EMS keys worked from the police and fire dept. I was locked inside the gate all night. That manager simply told me I should’ve hopped the fence and called an Uber, then Uber’s back the next day to get my car. When I told Mary, the manager at this AWESOME U-Haul location, about that event, she said I’ll never have to worry about such a thing, as I can always exit with my gate code! She’s incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly!!!

I was told my reservation was for a 8x12 locker and when I got there the receptionist was standoffish and blunt and all that was available was a 5x7. It was too small for all my belongings but I took it anyway since I had no other options in the moment, I was able to empty the trailer for return but had to haul the other half of my belongings and find another facility. I secured a 10x10 and now I will eventually have to move the first items and make several trips. I would have been better off making my own arrangements. My complaint is that the size unit the was RESERVED for me was no longer available once I got there. This SNAFU snarled everything thereafter. Work on that for better reviews and customer experience.
