He was my first choice for pick up, but then I was told he did not have the truck i needed, when indeed he did! He was very helpful and redeem U-haul in my mind, if it wasn’t for him, I would NEVER recommend U-haul. Thank you so much for your help!
Keeli LStarting ubox pickup at 12pm instead of earlier in the morning on a weekday is difficult for those who have plans later in the day, or for movers who have to travel/have busy schedules.
Maggie FSo like before, I tried to get a rental out of Morgantown at the smoke shop. Once again, I had to drive to Shillington, which is much further away from my house to rent a truck. When I called the Shillington location, it forwarded me to corporate. And they would not give me any kind of grace in returning the truck later after the 24 hour period. I was charged another 24 hour day and really only needed three hours. I just think for the amount of times that I rent from U-Haul I could get a little grace. You guys offer me free storage units which I never need. I only use trucks and it would be nice to get a little bit of grace. That’s all.

MICHAEL YI rented a tow dolly. Concerning the ratchet that fastens the straps that go over the tire . I have used that type of ratchet for many years, but yours are hard to work with. Some people probably struggle immensely with your ratchets . The tow dolly did work well. I was happy with its performance except the ratchets. An employee named Lee took care of me. Make sure you keep him. He is exceptionally professional, courteous, kind and very competent. I was impressed.

David SLast time I rented here the ladies were great…. This time I ended up hooking up the trailer and everything by myself because it was taking the guys so long. On top of that the trailer door and lock were so rusted it was hard to close and open the door.
COURTNEY CCheck in was very time consuming...I recommend that customers use the "pre-checkin" option. Took 45 minutes from my designated pickup time to get my truck. One person was working the counter with many customers waiting was frustrating to everyone. Drop off was quick and easy though.

ANTHONY PThe ladies at the Shillington location were excellent. They made sure that my pick up went smoothly and they took their time to explain everything to me. It was after I left that the nightmare started. The hitch that I had rented had an issue with the left tire strap. I couldn’t get to release until I had an engineer from the hotel come help with it. It took over 45 minutes to get to release. Also the dashboard kept flashing that the gas cap was open when it wasn’t. This happened halfway/2 hours into the trip, SMH 🤦♂️!
Isabelo VNo problems, picked up a trailer and got the job done. Staff was good, informative. There was a little more customer volume then one employee could handle there when I arrived. Saturday morning , should really have more help but he got it taken care of. Not employee's fault in any way. Cost of rental was reasonable, I will use them in the future. Already suggested them to a friend.

Donald TAbsolute disaster, a completely ridiculous experience. The first truck you gave me HAD A WHEEL FALL OFF ON THE PA TURNPIKE! It almost killed me. We were then stranded for two days waiting for you to figure out if it would be repaired or replaced with a different truck. TWO DAYS! I was told my rental would be extended for the two days lost to this, IT WAS NOT! I was told my two nights hotel cost would be refunded to me, IT WAS NOT! (and I sent the receipts to you TWICE) Of the four different people I dealt with at roadside assistance, only Anthony (the first person I was connected to) genuinely cared about our situation and followed through on the things he said. The others did not do what they said, never followed up. Overall, U-haul showed that they simply do not care about their customers at all. This was a nightmare for my family, and I will never again use your services. You are absolutely horrible.
ROBERT DI’m very disappointed with uhaul. I booked my reservation for a 26 foot truck a month in advance. Was called the day before my move and was booked at another location. When arriving on moving day was told we my truck was not available and had to settle for a 15 foot. Then when confirming my reservation in person was told they couldn’t book it due to past due bill that I had. It was for a move and a person I never knew before. Needless to say I don’t think I will ever use uhaul again.

There ended up not being one in my rental either so he refunded me the fee and I think that because I was so close to the rental facility (U-HAUL in Shillington) that had I said that I really needed it? He would have either delivered it to me himself or had one of his employees bring one to me? But my friend was already bringing his.

EDY C | First ImpressionsI did not even know about the facility that I ended up renting at by accident. I went to the wrong building thinking it was the one I had rented at. The supposedly “4’x6’” unit that I rented required me to stand my modest-sized couch on end to fit it inside. There’s no way that unit is six feet in either direction. The door latch does not match up with the hinged flap that is supposed to be used to lock it. I had to have someone physically wrangle the lock into place. The lock was not present inside the unit as was supposed to be the case, so I had to go ask for one, and it was just luck that I happened to get there while they were still open. I can’t believe that I’m paying $80 per month for this.

The system let him rent us an available storage unit but when we arrived at the unit it was padlocked and actually not available for move in. The staff member immediately called his manager and then corporate Uhaul to see what could be done and if there was an available unit close by. Neither were helpful to him and ultimately for us. This staff member deserves better working conditions, he truly went above and beyond to correct a situation that should not have happened in the first place. We lost over an hour of precious moving time to this situation. We now have our daughter's entire apartment crammed into our home, still trying to organize that disaster. We have been moving our college age and young adult kids with Uhaul for years. This was probably the last time though.

I have to cancel my space and look for another storage location which has caused a big inconvenience to my mom as I have been holding her stuff and paying for a Uhaul because I can’t find storage. I am so upset about this. I’m sorry, but I would not recommend Uhaul for storage units per the space for the price they require.

For this reason alone I called customer service and complained due to the lack of professionalism and regard. Customer service apologize for this location's behavior and said that I will be contacted by a manager within 72 business hours. I was never contacted so I followed up with another call to customer service who apologized and put in a specific request to the traffic control manager with a reference ID number of 2651806 and I should have been contacted within 72 business hours by this specific manager. Due to not receiving this call I called again and I was informed that the manager of the Shillington location Debra Antonelli said that she apologized so they closed out the case. However, I never received an apology from Debra and told the customer service agent that Debra lied and has never contacted me let alone apologize. A few days later I am contacted by Debra, which follows, "Hello. I am emailing to apologize if you felt that your issue was not serious matter and I am glad that you have your licence back. If there is something else that can be done for you in the future we will be here to serve you. Thank you for your business, have good day. Debra" My reply to this email was, "While I appreciate you reaching out and apologizing, I am unhappy with the fact that it took so long for me to receive an apology. I am also unhappy with the fact that a representative stated you previously reached out to me directly, apologized, and therefore the case was closed. However, this is the first time I received an apology. This apology does not sincerely apologize for the inconveniences your location caused me due to having my licence in your possession for a month. The apology does not cover the flippant behavior of Richard who chuckled at the fact that his colleague who I previously spoke to decided to mail the licence weeks after I gave her my address. This "apology" does not resolve my case and I believe I should be compensated for the inconvenience, unprofessionalism, and disrespect I received from your location. -Shyree J. Gonzalez" I did not receive any communication back. Due to all of this I decided I will no longer give my money to this company and removed my belongings to be stored with a company who are respectful, considerate, and professional. When I removed my belongings Debra (who did not wear a mask) serviced me and did not apologize for anything. I received an email that asked for my feedback and when I click the link it states that I've already given my feedback. Usually I'd think that this is a glitch but due to the lack integrity shown by this location I decided to give my feedback another way encase someone did something unprofessional and unethical again. I will also be reporting Debra and this location to the United States Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration since I have witnessed Debra interact with/service clients inside and outside the facility without wearing a mask. My move-out date was 6/26/2020 and I expect to be able to see my feed back until the end of August 2020.
