DEANN KI was asked to take a truck running on fumes, literally 4 miles to empty, then he says if I take it he will give me a discount so I say sure, but he puts it as roughly 35 dollar discount for me to fill it but he put a quarter tank, but it took me 45 to even fill it to a quarter tank where I was supposed to have it start, and left at. So not only did I get cheated after told I was given a discount but had to overpay and was expected to just fill it anyways, and I was supposed to get my full 100 dollars back and they only gave me 75. Not only will I not be using uhaul but I will be warning people of this company and location in specific if this doesn't get fixed!
CAREY WI did have so problems with my legs on end tables bed post some mold and wear. Also on my kitchen table and chairs understand dust, but I had everything covered and it seems it still got damaged. All furniture was new prior to being placed in. I had my movers who are with another company take note. I was under insurance the entire time. A year and two months.

RUSSELL CAs a preface to this comment - this was Saturday of Labor Day weekend. So I would imagine a very busy time for UHaul. There was a shortage of staff. There was a line of people waiting to get their trucks / trailers and only two people working. However, once I made it to the counter the staff (Cara) was very patient, explained things well, and did a great job. Upon return, there was only one person there and he was putting a hitch on a vehicle. He finally came to the office where five or so people were waiting and took the return. Final Invoice was fairly prompt (an hour or so) and correct. This location looked very clean and well stocked. I would definitely rent form here again and recommend them to anyone else (even on a holiday weekend).

JOHN MWhy on earth do I need a cell phone to rent a U Haul?? They've been renting those truck LONG before there were cell phones. NOW it it 1. use the CUSTOMER's device and 2. the CUSTOMERs service to conduct business with YOUR company.
STEVEN RCould care less to help people, tried to reserve on in person and was told it wasn’t available, when I could see the keys behind him. Then I had to go online and book it to get the truck that “wasn’t available”. Also got charged about 4 different times for stuff I already paid for but regardless I needed the truck.

DAVID BWhen I reserved the trailer it was for a different store. I wasn't informed there was a change of pick up location even after the phone call the day before. I had drove to the wrong location to pick up the trailer because of the lack of communication on U-Hauls end. After picking up the trailer at the correct location and driving home U-Haul hadn't put the moving dolly in the trailer, which required me to drive back and pick it up.

KEVIN VWe had a big over-the-road move coming up, with a 26' truck and trailer, and the stress was real. John, the general manager at this U-Haul location, made all the difference. He was incredibly helpful from the start, answering all our questions clearly and calmly. On the day of our move, we realized the truck we originally reserved was going to be too small. John jumped in right away, got us into a larger truck, and made the switch quickly and smoothly. He truly went above and beyond to help us get on the road with confidence. The location itself is clean, well organized, and easy to get in and out of. If you're looking for a U-Haul spot where the staff knows their stuff and genuinely wants to help, this is the one. John made a tough day so much easier.

RALPH FThis entire rental period was the worst! It started when my pick-up time and type of reservation was changed without my knowledge or consent. That cost me $150.00 in lost time for laborers. Then I was sent to a location to drop a trailer that refused to take it. Another hour lost while sorting that out. This trip was, at best, a comedy of errors by U-Haul at my expense.

John TWe sat at drop off location as sign said for 5 minutes, no one came. I went inside and was not acknowledged upon entering. I started saying 'hello' and after a few times of calling out he answered me. He came out to check in the trailer complaining about his back. He checked us in and told us where to let the trailer off, no help from him. I was supposed to get an emailed receipt in 20 minutes. I went back mid afternoon to get one. He attempted to pretend he didn't know what I was talking about. I had him print a receipt for me.

By the way, the complainers I read about in the reviews that said there are long waits at the garage entrance waiting for other renters to drive their trucks into the garage which made for long waits. Only negative is the new rate increase for monthly rates. I ended my rental earlier than I had planned. Instead of maintaining my 10 X 10 space, I asked about the rate for a 5 X 5. $80 plus tax is just too high for a 5 X 5 sotrage space!!.
