We appreciate the staff, they were always friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately the cleanliness was a disappointment. There must be a rat problem at this facility because there were many rat droppings in our boxes and some were even chewed on and had nests in them. Overall the security of our belongings were never in question and we appreciate U-haul for securing our belongings. Thanks.

Rats ate all of my stuff and now I have to move into my new home with nothing! I have to absolutely start over and I am furious. There is a rat infestation at that location.

I had to get out and go in the office when I clearly put mobile check in and out. I had to wait and got the truck after 2:00pm. When I arrived back there was no one there to greet me with the truck I had to go in once again looking for someone to give the truck keys to! And also when I initial got the truck the mileage that was on the paper did not match what was on the dash in was two miles off. I just didn’t like all the hassle of having to deal with humans and it was still Inconvenient. 10/10 do not recommend if you don’t want to see and deal with people.

I lived in Buckhead and requested Piedmont location but got switched to Stone Mtn ( 30 minute drive away) at last minute which was not very convenient. My experience is that store employees spend a lot of time sorting out customer service issues from online bookings.

I met the manager of this location as well as a number of staff members over multiple rental interactions. I really dig these guys! They are polite, professional and courteous. This location went above and beyond for me. We had to change our truck three times. The guy was very patiently trying to make us comfortable. ( sorry I didn’t remember his name). He worked by himself but he stay professional while taking care of everyone. Great Job

This will be a limited time for me. When I first got to my unit, the plastic thing was on the lock. Do y’all think ppl have scissors on them at all times? We don’t. I had to burn it off. Then finally open the lift gate on my unit and there is only one thing in it…those rodent catching things. Yuck! Well thanks for letting me know my stuff will probably end up pest infested. I’m scared to go back and bring more as was my original plan. On the way out, I ran over a huge nail in t be poorly maintained parking lot. The position of the place is also confusing. I had to do about three u turns before I got to the right spot. Also there was no lock in the unit as stated. I had to go back to the office after sweating in the heat and moving all my stuff in. Then the girl at the front had the nerve to try and charge me for a lock. Huh? I’ll be moving out soon.

You as a company should really hire her as a general manager, even though I was upset. She still serviced me and got me a discount after her manager got mad at her first offer to me

I’m okay with the storage unit but your late fees are rediculous!! Once a month when you are late but every weekly fee is a bit high for those that have no where else to go so that they can afford the storage unit and get somewhere to live at the same time, just too much!

My storage Unit was not the best. There was rat droppings, a wire hanging down when opened. There was a hole in the side at the top. A lot of things were discarded due to moisture and mold. I still will recommend but use the inside area. I will be filing a claim. Sentimental value. The black box inside was useless. There should be a receptacle for those who use the facility. That was an inconvenience.

The original storage unit was on elevated ground and not usable for the type of tool box I have to store. The associate came out to me saw the issue I was having and switched me to a ground level unit and helped me get my box into the unit and I greatly appreciated that.

Prices do not concur with what the associate presents to the customer, the staff is not trained properly with handling MINOR customer related issues the manager at this facility Mr Alford is not concerned with bridging the Gap to solve customer complaints. U-Haul reserved this unit for me over the phone. I arrived to move-in and the unit was occupied. They didn't have any more units or any units close by. I was refunded my money but had to find a storage unit and add more miles to the uhaul truck I was driving. It was disappointing and an inconvenience. And cost me more money

My issues: Traffic never called me about my truck reservation and truck pickup location before 6pm prior to my next day 10am pickup. I called them instead, stayed on hold for 30 min., kept calling until 5:45pm until I got someone. Took them a while to find my reservation. They told me the truck was to be picked up in a location different from what was on my online reservation file. When we picked up the truck, it was in poor condition. Problems with loose steering, bad transmission, oil dripping & smoking. Good: brakes & was clean. At drop-off location Rep claimed we drove 5000 miles & backed off when we disputed...then he noticed he was looking at the wrong truck on his phone. Advised him of truck mechanical problems ( thank goodness we only drove it less than 60 miles) but the Rep seemed unconcerned & just said OK. U-Haul needs to improve the online & phone assistance to support the customer experience...we should not have to hound them to verify our reservation & tell us where to find the truck. Plus better maintenance needs to be performed on the trucks...that truck could have easily broken down or caused an accident with its steering. The truck only had 30K in miles on it but poorly maintained. I have had better experiences with U-Haul in the past. I have no complaints about the storage facility experience. Just the truck rental.

I plan on having 24hr access and will need additional insurance. I Will park my vechiles there. In the past a controversy arose and police involvement was necessary. If a Con troversy arises you will be required to call the secret service of the Treasury Department in Atlanta on Peachtree Street, concerning Wade Jenkins Property. O am an Official.

I appreciate the accommodations made by this facility. The clerks were always efficient and friendly! I relocated to the area almost two years with EVERYTHING I've ever owned! When times became financially difficult for me, specifically due to COVID and lack of employment, the UHaul Stone Mountain facility kept me abreast of my liabilities well prior to being evicted! Then, they gave me an opportunity to retrieve my items without heavy fees! I WILL ALWAYS be thankful to this company because of their compassion!
