I ordered a tow package from uhaul and scheduled the appointment. Mistakenly, I scheduled the appointment for a location that was 30 minutes away instead of the location 5 minutes from my house. When I arrived, I was a week early so I asked the manager if I could have the parts shipped to the location nearest me instead. He said no because the part had already shipped, though I could cancel and reorder. I expressed my nervousness to him to have it done at all at Uhaul since my car is a range rover and he assured me an expert, someone with many years experience would be installing it and that they install tow packages on range rovers all the time. He showed me a picture on his computer of a range rover with a tow package on it and said it would look like that. He said if I would keep the order with him and come back the following week to have it installed he would give me a credit. I agreed. Day of install, car was dropped off. I never received a call that the install was complete so late in the afternoon I called and it was reported the car was done and they had forgotten to call me. When I arrived to pick up my car, I was devastated to see that my tow package looked nothing like the picture he had showed me. The package itself was inches below the bumper, nearly touching the ground whereas the picture showed the tow package a few centimeters away from the bumper. When I went inside, the manager had already left for the day. The guy at the counter heard my complain and told me that the guy who installed it, had just transferred to their location a couple days before and was the general managers son and had never installed these prior to today. He said the manager was there at the beginning of install but left during it but seemed to be pleased with what the tech was doing. He came out and looked at the car with me and said he has never seen one look so bad in his whole time there. He agreed it was not installed properly and phoned the manager. The manager said I got what he showed me on the computer and that was it. I asked the guy at the counter about a credit and he said there was none. I had no option but to pay and leave. The following day I rented a trailer from the uhaul close to me and I had them take a look. The guy there was most helpful and said it was a terrible install and because of reasons like this is why they don't install on range rovers. He said the hitch was installed upside down, and he was nice enough to fix that for me. I told him ever since picking up my car, I've felt some vibrating and we noticed that my bumper was no longer attached under the vehicle. He found the plastic piece under my car cut so terribly and in the wrong play that my bumper was barely hanging on. He used 2 zip ties to reattach my bumper so it doesn't fly off of my car. He called the manager of the other location and told him what he found. The manager of the other location said he would call me. He never did. When I returned my trailer the next day at the location nearest me, they called the manager again who said he would call me. He never did. I finally got through and talked to him and he said he would order a new piece and call me when it came in. That was 2 months ago. I have never received a call from him or any correspondence. I have tried to call multiple times, and the phone system redirects me to the customer service center which has been zero help. I have no option at this point to drive to that location and hope he is there since they will not answer the phone. This location is the worst possible location, with the most unprofessional manager i have ever encountered. I'd recommend driving from WA to FL to use uhaul if this were the only location available.

Jonathon was amazing and extremely helpful when we picked up. Also when we returned our rental Jonathon was the only employee working in an extremely busy store, he was still amazing and in good spirits despite being overworked and having to working in 97 degrees outside.

I had originally reserved a car trailer from A-to-Z rental a satellite of U-Haul in Spokane, Washington located on France’s Street. I checked on the reserve the night before I went in the day to pick it up and they had rented it to someone else, I was in a strict time frame and had to scramble to locate another car trailer within an hour. I would not recommend that company at all for any kind of rental. I went up to your U-Haul rental store on division in Spokane, Washington and rented a car trailer that same day had an excellent experience and everything went flawlessly, and it was literally almost half the price of what A to Z rental was going to charge me for the same u-haul car trailer. The U boxes were at the location by the local delivery service. I had hired had a great deal of difficulty accessing the U boxes on the day. They were supposed to deliver them to me. It took much more time for the boxes to be released at that location than it should have. I don’t know details, but I do know it made delivery and much more difficult process than it should’ve been. Communication needs to be improved.

The young man that helped me sucked and I guess it was all because he happened to be the manager son well in all honesty I don't care if you jesus son you dont do your job well and you made u-haul storage look bad it was the one on n.division he was white nerdy looking the African man named Jonathan was 100 percent better and he knows just who I am taking about

The only reason why I didn't rate it as excellent is because I had to drive to a new location 35-40 minutes away after I rented a trailer from a place 5 minutes away. It said there were two available at the location near my home when in fact there never was any available trailers. No need to falsely advertise that there are trailers at nearby locations to sucker customers into reserving something. The staff at the location I had to go to were excellent. The facility was excellent. The price was the best in town. The marketing strategy of u haul is very deceptive though.

I am giving this location a 5-star mark, because it is big and had several employees helping the process go relatively smoothly. That said, the owner who was not having the best day (it was busy and hot) was pretty short with me. John, on the other hand, while working extremely hard, was kind and friendly, which I so appreciated.

There were quite a few mishaps. People that didn't understand the operating system in the computer, calls to the manager, scribbling my name and number on a ripped off corner of paper for the manager the next day to straighten out the order. Went in the next morning and there was still a lot of confusion. I ended up booking through them for a storage unit down the road. Not crazy about the rat trap when I opened the door but I guess that is what it is. Not impressed with the lock system on the storage doors. Pop one rivet or so in the lock falls off. Other than that everything was great. The staff was trying to help they just couldn't quite get it together.

When I was sitting at the counter for checking in, the employee checking me in was constantly complaining that he has not had a break or lunch and he gets off at 11am. . The computer was running extremely slow and it took about 45 minutes to just check me in!!!!! Also Cory wanted me to use his personal phone to scan my drivers license to make it go faster since the computer was not responding!! I stated NO!!! I used my own phone to try and check in finally. When he was working on the computer and figure out how to check me in, he had a fellow employee (young blond hair male) try and hep. This young man was constantly using profanity in front me and at the front counter, stating "I hate these fucking computers!" He then walked to the back area and just left without helping Cory get me checked in!!!!! Outside hooking up the trailer, I observed damage to the trailer and the tire marked "patched" on the side wall of it. I took pictures of everything while there and advised Cory, he stated it is already documented and that I can go on line and document it. I then left after him checking my brake lights and tail lights hook up and working. When I arrived at my Airbnb and looked at my phone , there was a text about documenting the trailer, it would not let me since I left the U-Haul property and time had passed!

I made a last minute reservation (40 minutes prior to pickup) and it happened to be rental return rush-hour at the location. Despite that, Wayne went above and beyond to ensure that I got the equipment I rented and got on my way in a timely manner, despite some logistical challenges that occurred. Always a great experience wit this U-Haul location!

Having made a reservation two months in advance for a 20 foot truck, I was switched to a 26 foot truck without any advanced notice. I refused the larger truck and then had to go to another location to get the correct size. I also had reserved a hand truck/dolly and blankets which they did not have ready. Took another half hour opening and closing other trucks to locate the equipment. I was asked four times to take a larger truck-did not appreciate that. Your Billings, MT return location on Lampman is unstaffed, so I left an unsecured truck there, and the Dropbox area is paved with huge rocks creating DANGEROUS footing. Someone will eventually injure themselves.

The servicing time was a bit slow due to the fact that the employees were so busy servicing customers, however : Clean, Professional, Personable, Affordable.. Thank you to the Employees at the 8805 N. Division St. location for their Meeting My Needs. I would recommend this location to others.

There was a mess up with the paperwork which caused an issue when we had a flat tire on the trailer. The roadside service people were a bit "snotty" when the vehicle being towed was different than what the paperwork showed.

When I dropped my truck off on 4/4, I let the GM Cory know I was also done with my storage unit. He told me to go out back and take the lock off and he would close it out when he got back inside. Apparently he did not, because John called me on 4/12 to ask if I had rented a storage unit with them (he knew the answer). I answered a hesitant “yes” because I was confused. At this point, he rudely asked “why I said yes like that” as if he was accusing me of something. I informed him about everything with Cory on 4/4 when I dropped my truck off and he said “oh” and “I’ll close it out.” He also didn’t close it out. On 4/15, I get the notification I’ll have a bill coming up soon. I call the facility this time and explain everything again. The man who answered the phone said he would take my name and number, go look in the unit to make sure “it looked good,” and call me back. I was admittedly pretty upset and heated at this point. I informed him I was done with the unit on 4/4 and followed their GM’s instructions. If there was a problem with the unit, it had nothing to do with me and I was not waiting around or stepping out of work again for something that should have already been taken care of (twice). He essentially told me he was trying to help me but what else could he do. Fortunately another employee must have overheard because he ended up getting on the phone. The other employee told me some other customer had put their stuff in the unit I had vacated per the GM’s instructions and that it caused a lot of confusion. Things happen, and had this ended after John’s (rather rude) phone call on 4/12, I would have just dropped it there and let it go. But the whole experience was rather souring. The GM is very nice, but what a cluster this was. Also, John had an accusatory attitude when I was confused about why there was a second lock on my unit. Perhaps I did miss him telling me they put second locks on them overnight, but when I asked, the first words out of his mouth should not have been “I told you this yesterday.” Perhaps I missed it since you checked me into one unit, and then had to move me to another one for unforeseen problems right away. Again, each thing I would have let go, but in totality, it deserves to be heard.

I first received a call that someone else also reserved a truck with almost the same last name, hard for me to understand that when I have a hyphenated last name, then I received another call asking if I wouldn’t mind returning the UHaul miles away from where I had planned to return it. It would have been completely out of the way, and a good hour or more out of my time of trying to move. When I said no, it wouldn’t be convenient for me at all, he was trying to talk me into doing it. I’ve never had a bad experience with UHaul and I have moved a few times, but it was a little frustrating getting calls in the middle of moving to answer questions and then to be asked to return it way out of my way.

Literally the only issue I had was that when I moved my stuff out of storage, a fair amount of water had dripped from the ceiling onto a desk I had stored in the middle of the left side of the unit. The desk has a glass top so nothing was damaged, but there was water in the unit.

I was charged a full month's rent when I was completely moved out and cleaned the day after my account was charged. It is not satisfactory to not be able to prorate the rent. I am very dissatisfied that's when I pre-ordered the storage unit it didn't indicate that my unit was on a second floor with no elevator available.

A worker named Eric “accidentally” closed my account. I called on a Sunday and Monday and customer service sent an email to the Manager of this location to call me BUT that manager never did. I went to the location and a young gentleman helped me. The young man who helped me gave me one month free BUT I just paid a few days before this issue so technically I was never offered anything for the inconvenience and incompetence of that Eric guy. However, the manager still did not have the decency and respect to call me and follow up at least on the emails he received. And I know he received them because I was cc’d on those emails. Poor customer service skills and no follow through for a manager. Might as well give the title and the pay to that young gentleman who at least made an effort to resolve the situation.

Unfortunately I could only give you haul a 3-star rating with their storage facility because you weren't allowed in your storage unit whenever you wanted. it had to be opened by staff. Also we were going to move everything out at the beginning of the month only to find out we wouldn't receive a refund for the rest of the month that we did not use the unit. Once you pay on the first apparently it's final. And you can't be refunded any money.

Staff was great. Truckstop bathroom flavored oderizers were annoying. Theres no elevator at N.Division storage. That was inconvenient. Those are my critisisms. Storage arrangement worked well.
