Nothing. Kyle’s was excellent and outstanding from start to finish up the van rental experience and securing storage, plus I was able to pay to put some on-perishable items trash bags from the move in the dumpster. Entire facility is clean and well maintained and the double entry secured doors with drive-in access is excellent. The best U-Haul vehicle rental and acquisition of storage experience I have had had in my entire life and I’ve been renting for almost 40 years, raising 10 children with my three sons being Army officers and seven awesome daughters. This was my first experience of renting U-Haul storage and its other storage facilities that I have done business with over the decades. U-Haul’s provision of locks for the storage is a great bonus because I usually have to pay an exorbitant amount for those at other storage facilities. Kylea was the best!

Had an excellent experience using this Uhaul Storage. Staff was always helpful & friendly. Storage facility was secure & safe. I appreciated there increase in security measures, especially when other storage units in the metro area had reported break-ins. Will not hesitate to use them again if the need arises.

It was great storing at U Haul. The customer service at the facility were really great. Corey Jordan came through getting the lock off for me when in time of need had to be out that day. I thank U Haul for everything.

The associate who Checked us out asked for far more info than standard with our business account. She was not kind while we located information and was very short and rude. Upon return the vehicle did not get checked in properly and the location called me 4 hours after we returned the item saying we would be charged. I handed the key to an employee who said they would email a receipt. Overall not my best U-Haul experience. I will drive an extra 15 minutes for a different location.

Trucks' glass on the side windows it was hard to see out. Had to stop and clean the glass. Otherwise, everything was grreat..

Very clean, wide-open area for moving belongings. Many carts, including a matress cart, we're available to use. Our 10x22 unit was exactly what we need for a 3 BR, Full basement, and office home. This facility allows you to drive into an area inside the building so you can load/unload away from outside weather conditions. The location of the facility is in a safe area.

Was pleasantly surprised that the unit was indoors. The facility is in a great location and has a clean, inviting curb appeal. Once we were inside, we felt like our belongings will be safe. The storage unit was spacious and well lit. We appreciate the moving carts and used them to move belongings from truck, down a wide hallway, and into the unit.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with this particular U-Haul facility...especially the manager's kindness and professionalism...and his demeanor. Corey was wonderful to work with, and I would not ever hesitate to refer the Lee's Summit, MO facility he manages to anyone searching for a good storage company. Good experience for a first time user of storage unit. The facility had access to outlets that enable us to provide extra lighting inside the storage unit. Access to large and secure bays were clean and several push carts available. However, when it came to backing in a U-Haul trailer by an inexperienced driver posed a challenge. Having a “drive through” bay for future storage buildings would be a nice feature. Overall we would use and recommend this storage unit in the future. Thanks for being there!

The facility was easy to access and we had a dolly or 2 when needing to move in and out! The secure entry was great, we had our own code and were able to access the facility at convenient times.

The vans were clean but the Dodge van, when you were driving it felt like you were up against the steering wheel. The parking brake automatically set when you put it in park. Maybe it's a safety feature and you can't override it? Lastly the back door was almost impossible to open. you felt like you were going to break the handle off if you keep pulling to get it open.

Staff was regularly unavailable during business hours, promised call backs never happened, manager was unreachable even by U-Haul corporate.im not sure what the manager does, but it’s clear he doesn’t run the location. To top it off, they made up policies that were not consistent with corporate policies or values. I would not recommend this facility to anyone and would actively steer people away from giving this location their business.

Was treated very bad by employee. Not let back in the store and told if I had any other questions about my bill I was to call UHaul. Was screamed at outside the store. Once I talked to the girls at traffic it all made sense. Kim should have called traffic to find me the answers I needed. Her behavior will and needs addressed.

Corey is an excellent manager. He was very patient with a couple who were in line ahead of us, despite the fact that the wife was very rude and abrupt. He remained calm and helpful, and took care of their needs. And he was great to work with when it was our turn to be helped. I will absolutely recommend the Lee's Summit U-Haul to anyone I hear about in need of the services the company provides. (Thank you, Corey.)

Horrible customer service. Tuesday the 28th I had a reservation at 8am. Kylea (I believe her name is) did NOT show up to work to open the store u til 815. At this point there were 3 groups of customers waiting at the door. Then when I went to pay she said she couldn’t accept the type of card I was using. I’ve ALWAYS used this card at U-Haul. So I went outside for 30 min, said I was going to figure something else out. 30 min later I walked back in WOTH THE SAME CARD, used it without showing her what card it was, and it cleared. Just like I knew it would. Got the U-Haul returned it. Then I get a call Saturday morning at 8am while me and my family are sleeping about the remaining charges for extra Miles I had driven. This is not a problem. I expected to pay this anyways because we did drive more miles than we initially thought we were so that is not the problem. The problem is that on the day of they charged my card $50 and And I was told I had a remaining Balance of $78 again for the miles which is fine. However, upon charging my card without confirming the amount for me, she told me it was gonna be $78 but then I got a notification that it was for $128 so then she overcharged my card. She said the $50 that was paid the day of would be reversed. But it’s not pending, it’s fully posted. So it won’t reverse unless the store issues a refund. Not only this, she said “I’m running your card for $78” then ran it for 128. I’ve never had this issue at a U-Haul. We travel for a living so All we have ever used is U-Haul, so with this kind of sneaky stuff and trying to tell me I can’t use a certain card when that’s all I’ve ever used and then it WORKED when I didn’t show her what card it was, and her trying to over charge me twice, is insane. Might look into Penske

My biggest complaint is the change from big the bigger moving carts when it was storage sense to the smaller uhaul ones that hold nothing & you have to make lots of trips to move same stuff. & it would be nice if hours were from 5 am to go before work or 11 pm to go after work.or to grab last min. Stuff for a trip or court date or any appointment you may have forgotten about, which you usually remember after settling down from a full & nusy day. & usually 10pm is too late to get there. That’s all

The staff was very rude and unfriendly. Especially the young lady that works at the counter. I checked out online after cleaning out my storage unit and a week later they were still charging me for a vacant unit. I had to call and let them know that I was no longer there. What was the point in online check out?

We needed a storage facility that could be accessed by a semi and this one worked out perfectly. When we needed to make a last minute change to a different unit Corey was great at helping us accomplish that. The climate controlled facility was perfect, access to clean bathrooms was a plus, and we had zero problems with pests of any kind. Very pleased overall.

The cost was outrageous. I know that you weren't the owner with the increases hit, but the price went up 50% over the entire time we rented. Considering that the facility was already built, I presume that the extra money went to a fat CEO and his crew of parasitic executives.

They put me on auto pay with out my permission. No warning. Never been on auto pay, ever. Then told me oh sorry we'll take you off. 4 days later sent me an email saying I needed to pay or they would lock my unit. You took the money how could that be. Absolutely no remorse.

The young lady that helped me both times needs to always be there. She made it easy and convenient for me to get a unit switched and that saved me a lot of time. She was also quite beautiful.

Staff is rude. We were not informed of U-Haul taking over until they put a lock on our storage unit. We paid by credit card that the storage unit had on file, U-Haul screwed up and didn’t transfer the payment and then didn’t apologize for the inconvenience. We emptied the unit the next day and moved to a friendlier, nicer and cheaper facility.
