james kGoogle stated drop off location was open until 7pm. They were not. There was no where to park and drop off the 26 foot U-Haul. We did the best we could without any human assistance. We would not have gone at that time if we knew they were already closed. Again, Google stated they were open until 7pm. Should definitely not be considered as a drop off location for a large U-Haul as it's virtually impossible. Not their fault, it's just the way the facility is set up.

The rental truck cab had a musty smell, the windshield wipers were old, and this truck could have used an alignment tweaking. I had to buy an USB adapter for my phone and gps these tricks are outdated for out of state trips! Hopefully I won’t have to move again !

Between the people being very rude and the tons of roaches inside the buildings… plus it being overly expensive on top of that, would never come back and specifically because of the manager being rude. No one is ever at the store now even when they’re supposed to be there… lights are always off. When I would go, Alex would be there and everything was lovely and he helped me 100%. Now there is a nasty worker there. Don’t even get me started on the manager, Leann. She should not be the manager. I thought Tom or Debbie were managers and they played that role very well. From my understanding, everyone thinks Tom or Debbie is the manager! Now it seems like all the good workers have left.

Kathy A | First ImpressionsPlease improve the mobile app experience. I could not get by the "Additional Contact" step, so had to call for assistance. After that, there are so many steps to complete, it took another 10 minutes before I was done. My suggestions: 1) Can you add the face photo and license photos to the users account? Then, just have the user take a selfie and compare to what was saved on the account? If you are using AI, this should be possible. 2) Instead of closing with multiple truck verification steps, consolidate into 1 long step. Most of these steps are not performed during the manual rental process. 3) Is the photo of the mileage and gas level really necessary? This is also not done during manual rental. I will avoid using the app whenever possible, until it is improved.

There were suppose to be individual gate access codes and key fobs made available at a costs....non were ever made available and for handicapped individuals like my self it was a selling point...but were never made available. Recently there have been and are rental trucks parked along the drive up to the entry gate. No to cars can enter or leave with out one or the other backing down or up. SAFETY CONCERN.. The attendants seem to care but apparently they must follow corporate edicts ... Those ideas and policies need to be revisited. And last but definitely not least....PRICING.

SANDRA H | Overall ExperienceReturned rental truck to predetermined location only to discover that it was closed despite an hours sign to the contrary. The sign on the door said they’d be returning at 10:30 am. We arrived at 10:50am to a locked building. I spent 30 minutes on the phone attempting to walkthrough the nightmare of an app based return process. Customer service via UHaul 800 number was terrific, however this return process tarnished my view of UHaul. If you are anticipating a quick experience on the return and then need to waste precious time after a long move then this is totally unacceptable. Nobody’s perfect, I understand, but this was pretty ridiculous.

He never picked up the phone so I drove down to the front and he’s sitting in the office eating a sandwich I told him the trailer was back there and he gave me a hard time even though I had a slip saying that that’s where it gets dropped off, just very rude overall

Hopefully somebody comes to the office today so I really don’t know what to think about this facility yet, not very happy that I spent five hours in the parking lot waiting to unload my trailer and truck so I’m really not too thrilled about this experience so far had a death and need to get to the funeral home to make arrangements and also have paid people here waiting to unload so it is very inconvenient

Tim RMy wife stopped there to make the reservations we showed up to pick the vehicle up yesterday April 24th and they were closed there just happened to be someone there to let us in when we got there today to drop the vehicle off nobody was there we had to wait for them to come back from lunch very poor way to run a business you guys might think you have the Monopoly on truck rentals but there's a lot of other companies out there which I'm sure we're going to be glad to look at unless you can compensate us some way

terryl f | First ImpressionsAlthough my rental of the truck and the storage had some hiccups, everything works out well I rented my truck when I rented my truck I had to go to a different location to get it cuz they didn't have it where they said they were and when I got to my unit I did not have an access code for the building which I had asked for a 24-hour access which delayed me by a half a day while on the phone with one of the storage Representatives I had expressed that wanted the insurance a 24-hour access cuz I would be coming in late was 6:00 Sunday morning to find out that we needed a gate code and a building code. Didn't have the building code but had the gate code. Had to wait until I can get a hold of management at this facility which took almost 3 hours. Then I was forced to unload in the rain facility manager was very understanding and apologetic about the situation despite not having the 20-ft room that I ordered. They put me in two 10x10s for the same" as for the staff were very pleasant and understanding. Thank you, Herbert Nasert

Mark S | Overall ExperienceI was visiting in Spring Hill Florida and needed a van to pick up a piece of furniture. I looked up uHaul to see that they had several locations near me. I called the one closest to me and when someone answer, I asked if they were at a call center. She said yes. To note all the persons that I spoke at the call center were very good and helpful. The first call took my information and sent the app to me. She arranged that I pick up the vehicle at a Uhaul location near me. The app did not work everytime that I used it. So I am ruling out user error. The information that I added did not keep. I went to the location to pick up the vehicle at the appropriate time. No one was at the location. I called the customer service number and was told that your system information did not have that this was a vacant location and not set up for picking up a vehicle by the customer. I was informed that someone would be there in fifteen minutes. I was given a new link by the customer service person to set up my vehicle rental with my personal information. This link did work. During the time I waited, I was able to input my information. A person did arrive about 25 minutes later. A little late. I did expect this. He apologized. He then had to take all my personal information again since the app did not work. So one hour and fifteen minutes after my supposed time to pick up the vehicle I was given the keys to the van. I was able to get what I needed. When I went to return the van, I was told to use the app to check the vehicle out. The app did not work. I needed to make a call to customer service who helped me check out. This person was very good as well. Will I use uHaul in the future, probably not. If you are going to rent vehicles without humans, Your app, your system needs major work.

Then I received an email from u-haul corp letting me know that I needed to pay, Date: 3/19/2023 PRE-LIEN NOTICE Dear john carr, Your rent payment is now 15 days past due. An additional $15.00 pre-lien fee has been charged. We hereby make immediate demand for full payment in the amount of $913.33. If full payment is not received within 15 days, your right to use storage room 112 shall be terminated, a $50.00 lien processing fee will be assessed, and a contractual landlord`s lien and any applicable statutory liens will be imposed on the personal property contained within the room. If you have not already sent payment, please send your check today or go to uhaul.com/signin/ to remit payment and resolve this matter. The only issue is the gate entrance the location of the keypad is not accessible it should be moved or there should be remote access. We had to get out of the car many times because it was easier . For that reason only we would not rent a unit there again. Next time I need a unit I would see if it was repaired if not I would go elsewhere. Also I could not recommend that facility to friends or anyone who asks. If it gets repaired or replaced please email me and I would certainly come back.
