We are from Birmingham, AL & needed a truck to move furniture in Franklin, TN. Website directed us to Spring Hill/ Madison. Actually, the trailer we needed was 26 minutes further away, but she offered to go, after hours, & get the trailer for us so that we would not have to go off route, as we are from out of town. We had several other hurdles & Madison helped us navigate each with ease, she is truely amazing. Madison goes above & beyond ( apparently, ALWAYS- as I was reading the other reviews when prompted to leave my own) she is top notch & actually, the reason our trip was successful! I hope the company realizes how special she is & what an asset they have in her! She offers something that is rarely experienced anymore...excelent attitude, respect, comprehensive reasoning and a willingness to do whatever it takes for the customer to have the best experience possible! She deserves a raise!

Kevin RI was told that you normally don't have a motorcycle trailer at this location, please keep one there. I regularly rent a motorcycle trailer and typically have to go to either Nashville or Murfreesboro some 30 plus minutes away. This location is 3 minutes away and I'm sure that you will be able to rent it out often in order to be profitable. Great job!!

I had to cancel several reservations to try to get a truck near me and be able to pick the correct drop off location. Which I was never able to do. However Madison made a stressful day a lot less bad. Her kindness and her help to try to help me was much appreciated. I will not get another uhual in Alabama though it is always a bad experience and I have to drive far to get a truck from where I actually need.
Kaylee B | First ImpressionsThe trucks alignment was so bad I was having to basically force it to stay in the lanes.it would get stuck at third and have a hard time switching into the next gear to pick up speed. Honestly a little nerve racking driving it on the interstate for five hours. Wasn’t dirty or anything just seemed like it was about done.

THOMAS BUhaul rep at the office was friendly and professional. She explained everything and checked the equipment to make sure everything was in order. The GPS location needs to be updated as it took me to a neighborhood behind the location with no through way.

CATHLEEN RThe storage facility was probably the worst experience I have ever dealt with. From moving in to moving out. I wish it was something good I could say about my dealings with th facility but the only thing that was good about this location is that Chris went above and beyond to rectify the issue at hand. When I moved into the unit I was told it would fit 2bed 2bath and it was the size of my closet. The second issue is that there is no gate code (was told it would be sent a week after I moved in July) and never got it. The staff at the facility had the worst customer service and attitude I’ve ever encountered. But Chris definitely was very helpful despite all the other issues
MICHAEL H | Overall ExperienceI selected the pick up and drop off location when I originally rented the U-Haul on line. Pick up was great but when I arrived at the drop off location, the employee had to make numerous phone calls because my reservation was never sent to them and they weren’t sure if they should accept the trailer. My confirmation had the locations address on it but something was lost in communication. The employee was great, but it was a bit of a hassle and my reservation drop off was never sent to them.

KENNETH COur truck was not there when we went to pick it up and we ended up having to use a smaller truck, name extra trips, and have it back within 2 hours because they had another reservation. Extremely frustrating. The girl helping us with our reservation was extremely unprofessional and was using a vape while working with us. Super unimpressed and made our move more stressful.
TORY CThe new management / ownership seems to be bringing some good changes to upgrade the facility. The auto payment requirement was a helpful change.

Kristin TI reserved a utility dolly days in advance and was told there was none available when I arrived. That was a huge inconvenience. I would suggest maybe giving customers a call to let them know if equipment that was reserved is not available before the reservation starts so that other arrangements can be made.

SEAN CThe front desk person, I think her name was Madison kept on getting angry with me that I used the u-haul app to extend my use of the truck. She left me voicemails and a family member of mine a voicemail saying if I kept on extending the truck she was gonna charge me $50 for every reservation they had to decline. I was paying for the truck each time I extended it. She was very rude and angry. Customer service was so bad.

WILLARD W | Overall ExperienceI rated my experience when I rented but I pointed out the rate was 30% higher from the previous week. Havent heard an explanation. The week before this rental, I picked up the same trailer in Childersburg Al and pulled it to Athens Ga. 3.5 hour trip and kept it 28 hours. This rental was also a 3.5 hour trip. Same trailer and kept it 22 hours. 30% higher charge. $112 week one, $146 week 2. ?????

Roxanne BDrop off locations are inaccurate on the Uhaul website. I was told I could drop off my rental at any Uhaul location in my destination city. The morning of drop off, I called the 1-800 number to confirm drop off in the destination city, I was told by person on the 1-800 number that I could not drop it off at my destination and had to travel to another city Not listed on my receipt (Huntsville). I refused to drive the addition 40 minutes and dropped off my rental at Guthries in Madison, AL (they were very helpful and took care to ensure I would not be charged)

Enrique BOutstanding. The young lady assisting us was so helpful. We were scheduled to unload there, then drive our trailers a half hour away to drop. She worked it out that we could leave the trailers with her. We were covered in sweat, exhausted from moving, and so grateful to her. We wanted to tip her but neither of us had cash. We agreed we'd hope to see her in the future to tip her then out of gratitude for her friendliness and for being so accommodating.

David KI am not wanting to leave comments, but I had the most wonderful experience on June 2nd 2024 due to a young lady named Madison, she not only extended her time. She also helped me and my family out at a time where I was extremely stressed. And I cannot say how much that extra couple miles she went for me. Help relieve me in my stress. She was so wonderful.
