DAVID WThe 4' x 8' trailer was attached to my truck. I noticed when leaving that the trailer was making more noise than usual ... I overlooked it because the parking lot was uneven, so I assumed the noise was just from the bumpy parking lot. (fast forward) I'm driving along Greenwell Springs crossing over Airline highway and the trailer DETACHED from my truck... ONLY the safety chains were keeping the trailer from losing total control and hitting the car driving next to me. The trailer when it became detached injured my bumper. This experience has totally ruined my experience with U-Haul overall.
CARLANDRE BEmployees were it helpful. Did not want to help hook up trailer. I had to beg them to help. I was on a tight time schedule and was made late because employees complained and refused to do their job. Overall poor experience.
JOSEPH MThe trailer I had reserved was ready and waiting for me when I arrived to hook it up. Very seamless process. I also had two tanks of propane filled, and the staff promptly took care of it. All staff I came in contact with were friendly and helpful. I had no issues.

KATRENA CThe staff was disrespectful and only wanted to open the store when they were ready, denying service to me and many other customers. The uhaul truck I had was absolutely disgusting. The back of the truck was littered with trash and it looked like someone threw good at the walls. The windows were left down the night before so the entire inside of the truck was soaking wet. Worst experience I’ve ever had, but doesn’t surprise me since it’s a uhaul and we know what kind of people work there.

MARK DNot inform them at 4 the day before that the equipment would not be available. Allow different places that have trucks outside to use the trucks. Inform people that they won’t be able to pick up at their reservation time. Allow them to drop off at the time they drop off.

HALEY WReport the truthful fuel amount when the vehicle is returned. After I have had multiple incorrect fuel charges it's starting to look like a scam. We now take a picture of the mileage and fuel amount upon return to prevent fraudulent fuel charges.

ROBYN KEverything. Truly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. My U haul was supposed to be ready by 3:30 and I show up and the worker lady tells me they gave my ONE WAY rental away to someone else who was driving within the city. I waited an hour at the location for the person to come back. After an hour, I decided to go home and come back until the person showed up. I didn’t get my U haul until 6:00 pm. The worker lady was useless in all this. I kept getting “I don’t knows” from her. I had to call customer service and demand a refund.

ALVIN MThe employees at this location are always extremely helpful and courteous, especially the gentleman who assisted with hooking up the trailer to my truck and removing it when I brought the trailer back. Won't go anywhere else when I need a truck/trailer.
JEFFERY SNot overcharge when returning the truck. Filled the tank to what it was when I first got it. Receipt says it was less than 1/8 full and I was charged over $60 because of this.

TOCQUEN HWhen I picked up the truck it had 3/8 of a tank of fuel. I returned the truck with 3/8 of a tank of gas, but they charged me as if it was lower than 1/4 tank. That's an extra $59.75. This is wrong, I took a photo of the mileage and fuel when I returned the truck. Someone needs to fix this.

AUSTIN KThe power was out and the employees told me to just go online. The said they had no idea what to do so I had to keep calling the 800 number. They should just direct customers elsewhere if the store is not operational. Finally got the keys after going back in forth with the phone rep and store. I had already made the reservation with my cc info and didn’t want to start over.

The brakes were making noises … the truck i had needs maintenance. I didn’t feel like it was going to make the full trip.

STEPHANIE SMy very first time renting a U-Haul & I will not be a returning customer. Overall customer service was not as expected. Employees at this location were rude & service provided was extremely horrible. The employee’s attitude seemed as if we were bothering them. I reserved the vehicle & supplies days in advance and at the time of scheduled pick-up, the truck was not ready nor was it loaded with the proper equipment & supplies. I had to load the truck in the rain without assistance & not under a covered canopy. I was told by an employee that they did not have the ordered dolly in stock at the moment. Only to be provided with a malfunctioning replacement dolly. Also, I ordered a dozen of moving blankets, but I only received 11. Five in one bag and six in the other. At the time of pick-up, the company provided the truck with less than a half-tank of gas, gas level photographed at exactly 161 miles. However, the company falsely documented the truck at exactly a half-tank of gas. Which then caused me to be charged additionally for their false documentation. Overall, I was NOT pleased with the service provided.

ROWLAND JI'm very satisfied and appreciative of how I was taken care of. Everything was ready when I came out of the office. I just had to pull off. However, the return process was fine until detaching the trailer from truck. Went through hell trying to get it unhitched. No equipment on tongue of trailer to crank it up nor drop down stand to hold front of trailer. I was not explained how to hitch and unhitch I only was told that it was heavy..I'm very disappointed.
GINA WWe were lied to in the price and basically told that even though the notes had the quoted price in there that I calls either take the truck or not that there were other people would would rent the truck. This was after you guys screwed me out of my original agreement for the 26’ truck the day before and forcing to rent two trucks from two companies and almost tripling our cost even though we have a reservation weeks in advance. Your company is nothing but a rip off and we will never do business with you again!!
STACY CMy experience was not the best especially when I went to pick it up. I started out with the one on Greenwell springs road and the associates were rude. I originally had a reservation there and was told I had to have it back by 7 then a truck was sent to get me bc they rescheduled my reservation without even asking me and before I knew it a rental truck from the one on airline came pick up after I told them my ride was coming back bc they had to go back and get the drivers license but bc they were so in a rush to leave everything was just disorganized. The worst experience ever.

I came in an the customer service person/ Tamara asked, did I have a reservation or looking for something, I said looking, she said immediately, I have nothing now, but I could call tomorrow, well I did and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND and find something for me for the short time I needed it. She's an amazing person and she truly passionate about what she does. Kudos to Tamara. I would definitely recommend this location to ANYONE.
SHARON SAs I made a reservation through a 3rd party U-Haul supplier, I was originally furious as my reservation wasn’t complete. I walked 2 miles, was there 30 minutes early and then was on hold on the phone for 20 minutes. U-Haul rectified the problem and got me a U-Haul at another location (which cost me $17 to uber to) I am grateful that the customer service team managed to get me sorted. I honestly hope that U-Haul considers not using this 3rd party vendor again.
