The staff can be a little more user friendly and less condescending towards customers. Yes, we know they are the experts and yes we know we know little about the rental process. No need to undermine the customer by trying to make us feel less intelligent about the whole process.

KIMBERLEE MI've picked up here before and the service was great. That was a year Ago. location went down hill. The staff were very lazy and rude and did not want to help at all. Will not ever use this location in the future ever again.
ANTHONY STell customers that you can assist for a fee. This location was horrible, they never informed me that they could take off the tow dolly for a fee. I had to take off the equipment myself. The staff was very rude. I would never recommend this site.
CANDICE WEverything is self check in/self check out. No one wants to listen to any information regarding the truck. Upon return I would expect someone to check up out and give us a receipt that we returned the truck in exceptional condition, he said he would get to it and we had to leave. This leaves a lot of vulnerability on our end that we were just not comfortable with. It is apparent that there is very little communication between locations, 1-800 corporate and scheduling. UHaul needs to do better. This entire experience was extremely stressful and wound up costing us more $$$ due to U-Haul’s errors and incompetence. We will be contacting corporate office upon our return.

MARY HEveryone was very nice! The only reason this is not an "excellent" score is b/c the drop off areas were not as well marked and we left extra keys on the U-Haul keys on accident and the people who accepted keys, did not even check that.

Jessica MIt seems ridiculous that I'm given a set amount of miles which ends up being from one store to the next and then being charged a dollar over the mileage. I'm basically guaranteed to have to pay extra since after you pick up the truck you bring it to your house, and then immediately to your new location only to bring it back and be 20+ miles over even if you never detoured once from your set route. The system you made is basically made to steal a few bucks and enough for no one to complain. Change this. I have to warn everyone about uhaul because of the system.

Spencer WWhen I picked up truck I was told I could drop any U-Haul location at my arrival city, half way there until sends a text say it has to go to a different location which was further from destination. Don’t say one thing and then change it up halfway into someone’s trip.
Doug BThe reserved trailer's lights was defective, and no other trailer was available. We found it after we attached it to the hitch. We were given another trailer for next day pick up. This delayed our plans massively. I concluded that not all the staff members are knowledgeable about the status of the equipment.
SPANDAN SThe trailer was very dirty inside it was full of trash and dirt. Thye trailer did not work for my needs. I had to go to the U-Haul location on Broadway Street in Hattiesburg Mississippi to rent a trailer that would work. The people at the location in Hattiesburg were very helpful, I highly recommend this location. They hooked the trailer up and checked the lights. The location in Baton Rouge did hook the trailer up but it was wrong. When I checked it the emergency brake cable was hooked to the safety chain not the truck. The folks in Baton Rouge acted like they did not care. I will never recommend this location. I also asked for a car carrier and was told it would not work but that it what I rented in Hattie burg that did work. Overall, this was a bad experience.

DAVID WThe 4' x 8' trailer was attached to my truck. I noticed when leaving that the trailer was making more noise than usual ... I overlooked it because the parking lot was uneven, so I assumed the noise was just from the bumpy parking lot. (fast forward) I'm driving along Greenwell Springs crossing over Airline highway and the trailer DETACHED from my truck... ONLY the safety chains were keeping the trailer from losing total control and hitting the car driving next to me. The trailer when it became detached injured my bumper. This experience has totally ruined my experience with U-Haul overall.
CARLANDRE BEmployees were it helpful. Did not want to help hook up trailer. I had to beg them to help. I was on a tight time schedule and was made late because employees complained and refused to do their job. Overall poor experience.
JOSEPH MThe trailer I had reserved was ready and waiting for me when I arrived to hook it up. Very seamless process. I also had two tanks of propane filled, and the staff promptly took care of it. All staff I came in contact with were friendly and helpful. I had no issues.

KATRENA CThe staff was disrespectful and only wanted to open the store when they were ready, denying service to me and many other customers. The uhaul truck I had was absolutely disgusting. The back of the truck was littered with trash and it looked like someone threw good at the walls. The windows were left down the night before so the entire inside of the truck was soaking wet. Worst experience I’ve ever had, but doesn’t surprise me since it’s a uhaul and we know what kind of people work there.
