The trailer had been in a incident and a new tire was put on but when I inspected the trailer it was only a 1/4 inch clearance from the damaged around the wheel weld. I asked the attendant about this and I told him it was Unsafe to used like this. They did not have a replacement so I told him we could pull this wheel cover out with a S hook. He found what we need and fixed the trailer and made sure the lights were working. I think his name was Aaron and the ladies running the counter on both times in and out were very pleasant and customer friendly. I would use this location again. It took nearly an hour to get the truck. Short staffed, long wait standing in line. I pre-reserved the truck a week before, none of the equipment was available (dolly). The wait caused a huge delay in my moving.

My first time with that location and I Loved it if I ever needed a moving vehicle I'll definitely be going to U-Haul on Andrew's Airforce Base.

Maintain vehicles periodically. I dont know if the truck i got is the only one that the windshield wiper blades are so worn out that it cant clean the rain water off the windshield. This is a big safety issue. Truck out of alignment. Headlights not bright enough to be used at night. It will make night driving difficult cause u cant really see whats ahead of u.It keeps pulling me to the left. Jerking transmission. The location is perfect and truck is clean but not a good truck to drive because i dont think it will pass safety inspection.

The truck itself had a tire sensor matter. It was mentioned by the attendant but when driving it was worse then what the attendant cited. Also, I think $2.09 per mile for the rental is overrated. For 35 mines, it was $109 with taxes and fee; and not including the refuel.

This is just my opinion: I think that the mileage rate is extremely high but that is the only thing I could find that was an issue for me. Thank you for allowing me to rent ur rental vehicle!

I recently went to pick up a U-Haul truck and car tow. When the representative checked out the equipment, her only words were “You’re good, thumbs up” before walking away. I asked her if she could at least guide me in loading my car onto the tow safely. She replied that she had never done anything like that before and that “it’s not something we do.” When I asked how to attach the equipment to my vehicle, she said she didn’t know and wasn’t trained to do that either. Shortly after, another staff member appeared. He admitted he had only been working there for one month and didn’t know how to help either. He then pulled the first representative away to assist another customer, leaving me confused about how to use the equipment I had just rented. This experience was frustrating and disappointing. The team at this location seemed unmotivated, untrained, and unwilling to provide complete assistance from start to finish. Customers are left with unsafe equipment setups, unanswered questions, and the sense that employees are not equipped to do their jobs. U-Haul should ensure that all staff members are properly trained, motivated, and ready to assist customers with the equipment they provide. At minimum, guidance on safe setup and operation should always be available.

The way U-Haul runs now is not centered around the customer at all. You have to check yourself in while the staff just sits there on their personal phones looking at you. Then you have to take your own pictures of the vehicle and check everything yourself. Literally doing all the work even if you chose counter service when reserving the truck. Then twice at this location I was charged a cleaning fee. The last fee was excessive. $50 to sweep and mop! Shouldn’t the truck be cleaned after each use anyway? It feel like squeezing the customers for money while not giving any type of customer service. It’s no surprise to me this particular location has new staff all the way up to the Manager ever 6-8 months. And I’m sure it’ll continue that way given my recent experiences.

I’ll never use this U-Haul location again. And I’ll never recommend it. Pickup was fine. Very friendly. But I called the next day to extend my U-Haul rental. I asked the gentleman for a price check before proceeding. He put me on hold and came back and said, “you’re all set.” I said, “I just wanted a price check first.” He then rudely responded that the transaction had already been done. I was annoyed at this point and expressed my disappointment in his inability to follow instructions. He got very rude and got upset because I was upset, as if I’m the one in the wrong. Then he put the phone down on me while I was talking. I tried to call back, and when he heard my voice, put the phone down again. I then called some hours later to speak to a manager and she said, “I will review the tape assess who had the problem.” No apology. No care. This isn’t high school. I’m a customer and the mistake was on them. I could tell that the employee clearly had the same approach as his manager and I cut the call. I don’t feel I should be charged the extra considering it’s not what I originally asked for. I hope this review will count against this particular branch. I use Uhaul for all my rentals, but will not use this branch again. Thank you.

Can’t think of anything that could’ve been done differently. The agent handled three customers like a pro in a relatively short time. Great service, and the ease of returning the truck after store hours was great. The check in and final receipt was received first thing in the morning.

There’s always one person working at this particular location. You either have to wait a long time for assistance or do everything yourself despite the continuously rising prices. The staff here also changes frequently!

Neither of the dolleys I reserved were available. I had to go to a location not in walking distance as well and had to spend money on an uber because the truck I reserved was not available at my intended location. Overall, below average.

I moved out and on the January 10th,2019 found mice's in my items. Never had this before moving out of storage facility.These facility was not like original storage that has Temperature control.
