The manager was not professional at all with one of the other customers to be honest I’ve never seen anything like it the yelling at the customer on the phone and threatening to call the police was a bit much in front of other customers with any business, there’s amount of professionalism as a manager that you must carry at all times no matter the situation this lady really lacked people skills management skills. It was just unprofessional and I would never go there again. However, the gentleman that did help me outside with the vehicle was outstanding.

This is sad. You all charged me for a vehicle that broke down on me. They left me stranded no one ask how are you getting home, never finished moving the items. I was very fortunate due to the tire pressure monitor system was reading low pressure and I mentioned it to the employer, that brushed it completely off. I am placing a attorney on this matter. Just straight up truffling.

I drove about 30 miles on my GPS and I was charged for 80 miles. I just got robbed here. I am going to dispute with my bank. I waited an hour and half for the employee to give me the key. It needs to shut down.

The vehicle had a check engine light on which I recorded and took a picture of before I left!! Also the worker lied and reported I returned vehicle at 7.09 pm when I in fact returned it at 3.57 pm I also let her know that as I handed her the keys she stated her system was down and she could not do anything if you want you can just go ahead and take the vehicle to put gas in or I will have to charge you 39.00 places .she also stated I was interrupting her break as she got out her vehicle when I first arrived back she looked at her watch the time and everything so I want to know why was my card charged hours after I return the vehicle and I put gas in it returned it back clean I was also charged a 25$ cleaning fee .. i was way overcharged in error and this needs to be resolved asap or i will have to file a dispute with my bank but I should not have to do that in this case and there where 3 witnesses with me who returned that vehicle at this time .. The vehicle also drove very unstable it’ needs a wheel alignment and tune up and it had a check engine light light on it also drove unsafe on the roads .you can contact me at 202-709-1261

Switch out the young lady that works at the location on forestville rd.. the location that doesn't have any truck she worked 2/28 at about 1pm she was extremely rude and very ghetto it almost made me not come to Allentown rd but i did and the guys were very helpful. Im trying to change to be a better person that lil girl should as well everyone isnt gonna be as nice..

Gio and Tanisha are the best! Tyson is good too. Everytime I need a moving truck or van, I use this location. The staff are friendly, fast, patient and knowledgeable. The equipment is always clean, well maintained and readily available. There hasn't been 1 time that haven't gotten what I needed for any timeframe.

I normally rent from the Uhaul on Penn Randall In Upper Marlboro except they were out of the size truck I needed. The check in process was simple. I rented the truck and returned it the next day despite renting for 2 full days. I handed the keys to an employee as I would normally due when renting a Uhaul truck. I took a picture of the truck in the lot and left. The next day I got an invoice saying the truck was returned on Saturday instead of Friday. No one at the location could help explain why this was. I always rent for 2 days and if I bring back early the charges are prorated. I was transferred to a call center. Then I was told the manager would call me back and I did not receive a response as promised. I will be calling Craig the owner to get clarity on the invoice. The staff was not knowledge about the process.

This location has poor customer service .... When I arrived around 7:40 am on Sat Feb 1, 2025 the customer service representative was on her cell phone. Never stop to say good morning or any type of greeting .... She never stop talking on person call during my entire sign in process. Even when she was having an issue with getting me checked in ... she kept talking to the person on her phone... at one point she even told the person she was talking with that she was having issue with getting my key ... She left to go out side never indication to me that she was going to get the vehicle ...still talking on the phone She come back in and tells me my vehicle is ready ... I had to go back to inquire about a light that was on the dash board. At this time she tell me to just push the bottom on the side. Never offering to come back to see if I need any help I had to go back to ask for help with the sit .... she told me that I would have to get out to allow the sit to move forward. There was another customer that came in behind me ... who rents from this location ... she even comments that she has never seen this persons at this location . There were people in the office having a conversation during my whole process .... somewhat loud . Even the person that drop me off notice how she was on the phone during the whole process. When I returned the vehicle the same day I mention this to the representative that on working . Of course he knew who was in that morning . He advise me that she should have gone over the payment with me and give me a copy of the information . .. As I told him when he said I had to pay for gas. I took picture of the gas and mileage before I left the location and when I drove the vehicle back on there property . He did made the adjustment to what the first person had indicated on my invoice. ( which was not correct according to the photos that I took before I left your location ( which is time stamps on the photo) I will gladly send you the photo's as proof of my information if needed. I appreciate his time in greeting me and other customers that came in behind me. I have used your service at the Forestville MD location with no issues but this Allentown Road location was by far the worst I have ever experienced Even when I returned to the area as indicates there was someone person car in what looked to be the wash bay where I was leave the rental Poor service ..... over load .... Thank you ,

I understand that U-Haul charges mileage for "in-city" rentals, but I was under the impression that for a move across state lines, there would be a one-time, one-way charge. My move began in Maryland (MD) and ended in Virginia (VA), yet I’m being charged for exceeding a 30-mile allowance—something that wasn’t made clear until I reviewed the contract. However, the extra miles wouldn’t have been necessary if the truck had been provided with a sufficient amount of fuel. Instead, it was given to me with only a quarter tank (1/4), requiring me to drive off-route to refuel just to complete my trip. To minimize mileage, I even adjusted my drop-off location to a closer one. My issue isn’t so much the extra cost but rather the principle behind it. I understand my responsibility to refuel the truck before returning it, which I did. But I wasn’t expecting to have to put gas in immediately after picking it up when it should have already been adequately fueled ready for the journey.
