Eugene BFurstly, the staff were wonderful, Shaquille, Irion, Stephany & others were courteous & helpful I do realize that the trucks probably are maintained, but can't imagine they are road tested often ir at all. I rented a 26' truck with 118609 miles upon return after a short move . Overall It was fairly clean inside and all gauges looked appropriate. However, I am 5'2 & was unable to adjust the steering wheel height I tried the lever & it wouldnt budge.and was barely able to see over the steering wheel. The seat didn't adjust higher either. Was difficult to start & made a noise (like a bad battery sound) as soon as you turned the key. Had to try several times while pressing the brake VERY hard to turn over & start. Now, the RIDE! It drove as bad as something with no shocks on a very bumpy & potholed road. (Perhaps like a Horse & Buggy on a gravel road) I had to stop & check the tires... shook & bumped the entire time. I had noted that Uhaul has upgraded their fleet with new efficient trucks...I would have asked for a replacement or gone to another location but time was not available. NOTE: I am a frequent renter, mostly from this location unless another is closer to my needs.
ANN LI reserve my U-Haul, drive three hours the next day to go pick it up arrive on site only to find out that they are closed and then I will need to find another dealership because they don’t know why they would reserve a U-Haul for me when they’re closed All I got was sorry… When I go to return the Uhaul after be told I can return it at any Uhaul center and was told they would not accept my Uhaul so I called Uhaul corporate number. They told me to go ahead and drop it off there. Then the establishment still charges me for dropping it off there. Absolute shit show

COLLIN MTrailer lights did not work properly. Attendant wiggled the plug, the started to briefly work and I was sent on my way. After loading the trailer I noticed the lights were no longer working. I called the pick up retailer and was told to drive an unsafe trailer back to the pickup point to replace with a different trailer. Roadside assistance was provided. I then had to unload the trailer and wait for repair causing me to lose 8 hours of drive time and making me miss my arrival time. When the technician arrived to make the repair it was noted that the trailer wiring harness had been patched multiple times in multiple locations. The equipment has had this issue for quite some time and only temporarily repaired instead of a proper repair being made. This was a horrible experience and U-haul’s negligence put myself and my fellow travelers in extreme danger.

JANET NTrain the staff that connects each trailer to the customers vehicle on all safety requirements. Give them the basic tools. They need to tighten the trailer fittings and understand the simple wiring connections. My trailer jumped off the ball as I entered interstate 95 less than five minutes after I picked it up. Luckily no one was hurt and I was able to stop the fishtailing trailer and safely secure it on their shoulder of the road in high speed traffic. 24 hours later, the driver side tire blew on the interstate. This trailer was obviously not maintained, and the local staff does not know how to safely deliver the equipment.

GAIL JThis rental was an absolute rip-off that UHAUL should be ashamed of. I rented a 5x8’ trailer in GA to bring things down to FL in Jan 2025 and paid $130. The return rental to GA was $880. This is an inexcusable ripoff of the consumer

RAYMOND RThere was no problem with the employee, but U-haul has a unique way of calculating fuel consumption. They charge 4 gallons of gas for 15 miles, which means their vehicle gets 4 miles per gallon. So either the vehicle is in terrible condition or the company is overcharging. That's why my rating is unfortunately the lowest 1 "star". I'm not blaming the employee, I'm criticizing the company's invaluable philosophy.

MARTIN CTruck had a marijuana smell. It was clean though. I got double charged for unload. No help to get reimbursed. The phone service line is absurdly long of a wait, still no help, still paid double. It’s a shame.

ROBERT BGreat location. Usually good reliability. Anthony was excellent! However, two issues that would make this location better. 1) inadequate staffing during busy times. At 9 am, only two people on staff. Long lines formed as these two tried to check people in and then run out to the yard to get the equipment, resulting in a long line of customers. 2) The U-Haul computer system is SLOW!! A long pause between the screens further slows the check-in process. If the customer has completed the check-in process online, could the customer go straight to the lot and let the lot attendant complete the process for this busy location? Customer parking at this location is inadequate, resulting in blocked trucks, etc. Despite all these problems, I still pick this location whenever possible.

PATRICK BGot to store 15 minutes prior to closing. Store already closed for day, but customer service fixed the issue and changed to self check out. Had vehicle for extra days, it was nice to extend on app and even if I didn’t extend I was charged each day extra with out any issues.. good price

Juan SI had a confirmed reservation for a 10 ft truck at this specific location, but just moments before my scheduled pickup, the location was suddenly changed to another one miles away. On top of that, I was forced to take a smaller truck than I reserved, which meant I had to make multiple trips to complete my move. This added unnecessary time, stress, and effort to what was already a busy day. The whole experience was frustrating and disappointing. I expected better from a company that promotes reliable reservations.
CRISTIAN MIt would be nice if the customers were told in advance that they cannot leave their personal car on property. I had to take my car home and uber back to uhaul so my car did not get towed. Seems like that is something that the customer should be aware of before they get to the location.
