The male attendant who works in the lot area was very rude, dismissive, and used profanity when I asked him about finding a dolly, since I reserved one. I went in and asked the lady behind the desk for help and we found one right away. The lot attendant should not be representing your company.
SCOTT ORented a pickup truck, new Silverado.. worked well. Interior however, it was like someone just ate french fries fast food and touched all the buttons, dash, and radio... interior was nasty. Not a good experience.

FRANTZ JI hade a major issue. I first made a reservation over the phone the night before at the Margate location. When I arrive in the morning, I was told the trailer was already rented out and I had to go to a different location in Pompano to pick it up. This is unacceptable when you call the day before and make a reservation. very disappointed with the Margate location.
JOHN DWhen I first walked in, one of the female staff members was helpful and professional, which initially gave me a good impression of the location. Unfortunately, that experience quickly changed once I had to deal with the store manager. The manager was rude, arrogant, and dismissive, making the interaction uncomfortable and unprofessional. Their attitude alone made me regret renting from this location for the first time. To make matters worse, the excessive amount I was charged was completely ridiculous and did not match the level of service provided. Overall, this experience left a very negative impression and ensured I will not be returning or recommending this location.
MARLENE JYour computer system went down while trying to process paperwork for a truck. It took close to an hour and a half to get paper work process and get the truck. However, the staff was very courteous and helpful. I have heard from others renting that this has happened before.

ROLANDO GMy drop off location was in Port Charlotte on veterans Boulevard. I called the location and the girl immediately said oh please and she left me on hold for 30 minutes while I drove to the location with my phone still on hold noticing her sitting there playing with her phone. I wanted to let her know that I caught her leaving me on hold and she wasn’t busy nobody was in the shop. Complete laziness.
PETER MThe time it took to get the key to my rental was incredibly long. The staff showed no urgency, and kept making mistakes and had to start over. They admitted it was their fault and apologized, but it took an incredibly long time and cost me for having movers who were waiting for me, charge me for the time I was dealing with the pick-up issues. The truck was also dirty. When I first opened the door, there was a liquid substance sprayed all over the steering wheel, dashboard, and door panels. It was disgusting.
JEFFREY SWorker in the back named christopher had an attitude from the beginning with me and my stepdad rushing us and saying your not listening to me with a very bad tone and made us do his job by driving all the way back instead of him unhitching then trailer and walking it. Attitude from the beginning to the end. Will never come back here with this nonsense speaking to costumers like he wants to. 0/5 STARS

RICK VI thought I had a good experience until I got my final invoice. They marked the gas wrong and I was chaged an extra $18. I drove back over there, she said she fixed it and I would get an email and I did not! I only drove it 12 miles, put gas in it and they charged me for a qtr tank of gas

It was one less thing to worry about, which made it an awesome experience. I'm so glad that I chose Uhaul!!
STEPHANIE DThe only comment that I could put here is that when a person reserves a truck 2 days prior to needing it and then arrives there on the day that they scheduled to have it and they don't have a truck and you need to wait almost 45 minutes to get a vehicle is not great customer service other than that the truck was fine everything went well I will use you in the future but when I reserve a truck I don't want to wait an hour and have them tell me they don't have the truck

DAVID HThe van I rented was infested with roaches at one point they were crawling up on my clothes and the worst thing when I tell the lady who received the van about the situation, she responded yes I know. I know is moving factors an many other things but that is unacceptable to know something like that and don’t take action.
MANUEL JThis location needs good help. The two new guys in training couldn't figure anything out. I had to ask for a manager. The poor guy outside was the only one around & worked way too hard by himself trying to do it all.
Janette WEven though the rental unit that I reserved the day before was rented out by mistake it was quickly resolved by the manager Michael who did an excellent job taking care of the problem. It all worked out very nicely and I love renting from this location for my trailers when needed. Thank you Michael for the time and your help.

MIKHAEL MWhen I picked up the trailer, I was told because I was a good customer. that if I returned the trailer to this location a little bit late, that I would not be charged another day. I rushed to get it back that day, if I would have known that I would be charged for another day, I would have just kept it and used it again. I frequently rent your trucks at the same location in Pompano Beach, and return within hours, so you can re-rent them. I feel that I was mis-lead ( not a lot of money... just principle). WILLIAM HI reserved. They transfert me far for this location. I received confirmation for an another location. Been there, nothing available. Have to go to a 3nd place. Not too good.
CAROLE BTruck reeked of marijuana. I was billed for fuel even after addressing the issue with the young lady at the counter when I dropped off, she said she would take care of it but apparently did nothing! I was also billed $7 for a hand truck that I did not order. I had to then dispute it with Uhaul corporate who resolved the issue but it wasted 20 minutes of my time doing the job that should have been taken care of at the store level. I have used U-haul in the past at different locations- THIS BY FAR WAS THE WORST OF THE WORST
JOEL VYou reassigned me locations within 45 minutes of picking up the truck causing me to go 5 miles out of my way then charged me for that mileage. Further you didn't have to equipment I reserved and when I got to the new location I had to wait 45 mins in line because the poor woman there was by herself. She was wonderful but shame on you all for doing what you did to me and your employee. This was a horrible experience and by the way you said the location I had reserved had no trucks when I driver by there there were trucks everywhere. Sad how you treat customers. Further the guy at the location that was dealing with the trucks came in screaming at a customer. It was awful. He has no business working in the public. I would never recommend your company to anyone. Moving is stressful enough without the ordeal you put me through then to charge me more mileage for your mistake. I will file that with the better business bureau since charging for your mistakes seems to be your business practice.

ANGELA JLocation is good and had no problems with the renting process. However, I witnessed a big black employee was yelling at co-worker, using profanity in front of customers. It was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. I’m glad my wife was waiting in the car, other wise she would be scared seeing the incident.

BENDIK BThe staff was professional in their work but I was the vehicle, the a/c didn’t work properly, I bought it back with more fuel than what I took it with, I only used it for approximately seven hours and yet still you charged me for extra mileage but didn’t compensate me for less time I used it nor the extra fuel I brought back.

TAMARIA FPoor customer service, both times picking up and returning the customer service was below average. walked in to the space, 3 employees in the area, only one customer and no one could say "good afternoon, hello, we will be with you shortly or something". Upon delivery two employees, no customers.. one continue sweeping the floor and the other one only asked me "if I was returning" no good afternoon, no hello, no welcome.. , I answered yes, and she proceeding to continue to the bathroom without even saying I will be right back with you, give me a minute or something. Highly, Highly suggest.. to do everything by the app.. might get better interactions after all.
