JEFFREY DDuring my pickup, the customer service personnel was so busy on her phone she couldn’t be bothered to do her job. She never explained the paperwork, where the van could be located or show any interest in us as customers. Then when we returned the vehicle, the CSR called me a fucking idiot! The outbound mileage was not properly reflected on the paperwork given to us. I didn’t think to check both but I did take a photo of the mileage and fuel prior to leaving. The found the manager & expressed my issues and was able to resolve the matter. I thanked him for his understanding but will return to that location nor will I recommend them!
MARK KThe truck was not available when we arrived. They sent us to another location which did not have a 15 inch truck either or a dolly. This mistake cost us time and money. We finally got a truck, went out to it and then had to wait for the staff to find keys to move the truck in front of our truck. Our truck had no gas, so we had to fill up right away. The staff’s attitude, at both locations, was complaining about others doing wrong thing and not taking ownership. A complete disaster. We want a refund. MARCELLA DAbsolutely inexcusable. You have billed me for returning with an empty tank, after I only drove it 50 miles!!! The tank was more than half filled when I got it and I put in over 3 gallons to cover the 50 miles. Also you didn’t make the adjustment for the small dolly

MICHAEL WNo fault of the pickup location, but the original reservation was made for a pickup at Broward Blvd in Fort Lauderdale and that info was on the email confirmation received...upon arrival at the Broward Blvd location I was informed that I needed to go to a separate location in Pompano because they did not have a trailer for a one-way rental I could pickup from the original Broward Blvd location. I could see at least one auto transport trailer in the lot and had assumed it was the one I had reserved and even asked if there was anything they could do to allow me to pickup from the original location but was told no, I would have to go to the Pompano location. After traveling in rush hour traffic to Pompano, I even got a call from UHaul on my cell asking if I was going to pick up FROM THE ORIGINAL LOCATION...There is no reason I should have not gotten a notification in advance nor should the system that initiated a call to see if I was picking up not have known of the change. The representative in Pompano was VERY helpful and I was able to request and get approval for an additional day of time to return the trailer while still on the phone with the UHaul representative.

MICHAEL KThe truck rented was not in the staging area for pick up even after we called them ahead of time with an arrival time. The 15 foot hauler we used had a bad air leak in the drivers door ( bad seal). Made for a loud whistling drive from Miami area all the way to San Antonio TX. Truck ran well with great power and good handling. There was no governor so I was able to keep highway speed on I75 n I10 throughout my trip with ease….A good experience and would rent again from U-Haul….

SCOTT BMost people need their rental early in the morning and you have only one person to serve. Dont you think there should be at least two people at all time? The person who attended us after a long wait was most pleasant and professionel but he can not be serving the outside for hocking trailers etc and inside doing the paper work. He has no choice but to leave people unattended waiting inside on their own. Is it not a security issue???
MARIE KKeep the drop Off line moving…. Computer system delay caused back at return line…. There should be an employee directing the line when the line is backed up into the street. These rental trucks are big and difficult to maneuver . However everything went very well ..

STEPHANIE DMaybe you need to get a number system to facilitate service flow. It can be confusing when lobby has multiple customers and no one knows who should go first. In addition I had some issues with app on checkout. However customer service was able to guide me and my self check out time was a bit too long

FELIPE MI always use this location for my rental needs. Staff are friendly and they always have the equipment (5x8 trailer) I need. And now, they have the trailers where the door is also a ramp! The best invention since sliced bread.

LOUISE AThe app had an issue with uploading pictures. I waited 15 minutes and had to refresh and try multiple times before it went through. I ended up not doing the exact right pictures cause my Uber was there waiting and another truck pulled up into the spot with the lights.

HAIM YAfter successfully making a reservation for a truck and getting to Uhaul on time. They overbooked and no truck was available. They called around to find a truck to no avail. Then a truck was returned and without any kind of inspection for damage they rent out a truck ungased with major damage that no employee checked for before renting. Fortunately, I knew to check for damages and had to bring it to the attention of an employee. Still waiting on my $50 refund for the overbooking and no vehicle. I would STILL recommend this place because I have never had problems like this before.
