Great customer service is increasingly rare these days and everyone I spoke with and met with was very friendly, helpful and thorough with regards to what the costs would be. Process for renting, pickup and return couldn't have gone any smoother.

ali hI was overcharged $113.84 for my use of a van I rented on 9/2/25 where I made the same route a couple of days before on 8/31/25 renting a 10’ truck. I was charged for 67 miles and I live in Redondo Beach and was storing my belongings in a Redondo Beach storage facility 2.9 miles away, an 8 minute drive from my home. I rented a 10’ truck on Sunday, 8/31/25 drove the same route in Redondo Beach and only drove 22 miles and I was charged $61.15. I rented the van with 3/4 of fuel in the tank and returned the van with the same amount of fuel without having to stop and refuel. So how can I have driven 67 miles and return the van fully fueled with gas without having to refuel. 67 miles is going as far an San Bernardino, Ca. The U-Haul employee who calculated the miles kept telling me I drove 67 miles, and he was persistent on me listening to him, repeatedly telling to me to just listen to him. I told him I did not drive the van 67 miles, the employee was dismissive, would not listen and was very rude! I will not use this U-haul service location anymore and I will tell others not to use this service location, they are stealing customers money and run a dishonest business!
