JAMES ASystems kept crashing so it took 1 1/2 hour to secure a u-haul that was already reserved online. In addition the U-hual I received was full of U-hauls supplies including gas tanks and spare tires. I secure U-huals for my small business often and I will never reserve one at the Vallejo location again. That's IF I ever give U-haul my business again.

WAYNE JThe staff at the Solano location in Vallejo Calif is so awesome and professional. They went above and beyond offering assistance and advising me of things that would contribute to a smoother move into my new place. Ivory, Lewis, and India ( The Manager) actually everyone at that location are A+ rated!
LASHAWN CThe staff made me get back in truck turn it around and drive in the direction they wanted it to come in. I could not see where to enter and came in from a side street and side entrance not marked exit. They could have taken keys flipped around and checked over everything all at same time. Instead I had to go back out move it, then go back inside. Then I was told your good to go... I said no, I need a receipt. Then I had to wait for the guy to have someone else go out and check the vehicle over and come back to say good to go. Lot of steps for me upon return. Seemed to complicated compared to check out where they were very attentive.
JASON LThe gentleman that help at the desk was very helpful. The mileage was incorrect as was the gas amount. He instructed me to take a picture. I'm glad I did. When I got to my drop off location, they tried to charge me for mileage, and I had proof that it was incorrect to begin with.

TARRINA WI was expecting a $112 but was charged $269. My reservation #14704848 reserved for a 930AM pick up, I wasn't able to drive away with the vehicle until 11AM and I had to go straight to a fueling station to start my rental time 1-1/2 hours after my time was started. No fuel, no appliance dolly no furniture pads, and no utility dolly was made available or used. I feel that I have been cheated by the UHaul company. I expect at least $156 dollars to be credited to my account but I also feel like I should not get charged for equipment and materials I did receive or use. There was no gas in the vehicle so I brought it back in 8hrs with more fuel than when I received it.

MARK BLove the employees, helpful, and the rental process was quick in and out. However, the truck itself had significant exterior damage—nothing major, just long scratches, dents, and dings. I walked around to video everything so I would not be charged for the damage. The interior is actually pleasant and clean, no smells or stains. Everything functions as expected. The air conditioning, heater, radio, and lights are all good. The truck had no gas, literally 3 miles to empty, so they said you would need to get gas now. Okay, I had hoped to drive it for a little bit because it was the largest truck they had, to be familiar with it before attempting to maneuver it through a gas station. The truck rode a little rough, but I thought maybe it was because it was low on gas. Made it to the station and pumped gas, no problem. But the truck still felt like it was struggling and needed a tune-up or more work. Driving up a hill was very slow with the pedal all the way down. Glad I didn't have far to go. Also, black exhaust smoke was pretty bad. It was a short local rental, so we managed. The rate was excellent so I would rent from them again. I will be more aware of how the engine was running before loading the truck.

RONNIE MThe customer service was awesome! There was a tire service light displayed on the dashboard of the first truck and the swap out was fast and smooth. Some rates were reasonable, and I was able to get a lot done with the use of a 10 foot truck.

Diane GI overspent on gas because you gave me the truck almost empty (at 1/8th tank). Makes it difficult to gauge how much gas I will need when I have to add gas as I pick up the vehicle. You should have a policy of refilling to a decent level.

JIM VThe gentleman I worked with at the beginning of the day at the counter needs a RAISE! What service when he was woefully under supported by the scheduling management. Polite, efficient, multitask and handle miscommunications with clients beautifully. And the staff that called me to remind me to drop the truck back at the end of the day - also killed it! What a team

We were laughing so hard, I never noticed his uniform, until we walked inside the building. Anyway, this U-Haul location is my favorite, your staff is very friendly.

TERI DThe customer service in the beginning of the day was great. THE RETURN- SUCKED! The online return process was a bit of a nightmare and took me over 30mins to complete....the system wouldn't capture the 100 photos it required, it calculated the odometer incorrectly by X2 it from 30 miles to +60 which cost me an additional $30, it kept freezing up, & when I went to complete the process the system said that I did not have a rental AT ALL....so I didn't know if the online system actually returned the truck rental or NOT. I was so so frustrated....this is not the first time I have used this return process & had similar issues but was NOT overcharged. Overall the online return process needs a SERIOUS tech overall. Definitely affected my overall review.

Also the cab of my truck I rented reeked of cat urine and needs to be thoroughly cleaned out. There was also a check engine light on, and the engine was making weird sounds as I was decelerating. But I will say the gentleman who helped me at the counter was lovely!! 10 stars and A+++ for him!
