The trailer had a burned out sidmarker light, but more importantly it had a twisted axle. It kept pulling to the driver's side. When vehicle was straight, you couldn't see the passenger side wheel fairing, but most of driver side. Completely unsafe!AARON M.

I rented a truck the day prior, no keys were left in lock box at 15 and crooks location. Contact support they sent me to hall road and Schoenherr and told me they had a key in the lockbox waiting for me. Upon arriving there was no key in the lockbox as well. Called locally to speak to an area manager and never got a hold of the manager after employees said they'll leave him a message to contact me back. 586-946-0900Silven K.

The bumper was broke upon pick up which we immediately showed to the attendant. Also, I was going to buy a ratcheting strap but was talked into smaller cheaper straps which I appreciated the person trying to save me money but they were awful and kept slipping.Jennifer H.

The fuel gauge is incorrect. We got stranded in the middle of the night because the fuel gauge showed a quarter tank remaining, but was actually completely empty and running on fumes. Aside from that, we drove less than a full tank of gas (roughly 300 miles) but somehow had to fill the entire tank: Meaning that we received the vehicle with what I estimated to be less than a 1/2 of a full tank. We travelled to Grand Rapids and back, which should have used less than a full tank. But we ended up running out of gas early on on our return back to the uhaul facility in Warren. This is unacceptable, dangerous, and borders severe negligence.Yianni S.

luckily I was only using truck for <10 miles or I would have turned around. The transmission was bad. Truck took forever to switch gears and sounded like it was going to blow the engine getting up to speed. Truck was clean though.ELIZABETH L.

Truck we rented had been smoked in. The smell made us feel sick. The steering wheel was dirty and actually burned my hands. I cleaned the whole cab down with Lysol wipes. The truck ran fine, and the guys working there were good to work with and tried hard to professionally handle the long line of customers. Like most businesses now, they were short on staff.Diane C.

Vet uhaul franchisee/ pick up locations better. Communicate with customers and do not change designated locations on them, This was the most miserable experience I have had with Uhaul and I have been a loyal customer and moved several times with no issues. My name is Hegel ,I did pick up 7/25/21at 10 am . Everything was good when I pick up .but when I drop off at 7/26/21. Morning 8 am there was man who take key he Chack and said it's Indian bad food small . I have to charge you 50 dollars or you power wash. I said ok I will do power wash and I did .after wash I asked him can you check he check and said oh it's still bad Indian small I have to charge you 125 dollars you mass with water. I did rant several time and day from this location because it's closed at my house, but way this man treat with me I realize that this man is not for fit or good for costomer service because he is very very very mean personOasiur H.

Had to switch trucks because the first one had issues with the engine seal inside truck. Burned foot because of improper seal and leaked exhaust. Truck was all over the road. Front suspension and steering was horrible. Averaged 6 mpg. Second truck was better but horrible steering and mpg. Averaged 8 mpg. Ehaust was load and rattling. Trucks need to come out of service. Customer service in afternoon when I switched was horrible and confused. One gentlemen acted close to hostile about switching trucks. Will never rent from 13 mile location again. Might never rent uhaul in the future. Trucks used to be nice and customer service used to be personal and polite.Justin S.
While the location and staff were excellent! The reservation system Uhaul has is atrocious. I specifically made a reservation days before so that I could reserve a truck on the day/time I needed it. However when I reached the location, they mentioned no trucks were available. What is the point of reserving a truck if a truck isn't at the location the time/day it was reserved for. If it wasn't for the friendly staff calling me a couple hours after my appt to inform me a truck had arrived, I would have had a huge issue because I wouldn't be able to move out of the house I was supposed to be moved out of. This is a failure in Uhaul systems and not likely I will be renting from ever again.Dennis J.

Get professional employees. I ask the employee about the $25 discount. Where it says clean and sweep the truck and bring it back clean get a $25 discount. He says idk and he says that's just a sign and joke. I was like says wow and got just quiet and no more talk and left. The truck I received on June 25 was substandard. There were a dozen other trucks, but I had to take the only "long distance" truck which had the tire light on from the start to the end of the trip from Detroit to Tampa. It wasn't just a faulty valve. I had to put air in the tires 5 times during the trip. Fortunately it was a slow leak. Also, the brakes needed work because they shook if I needed to brake hard because of traffic. I've rented from U-Haul twice before and everything was fine. This trip was not a good one.Robert H.

A smaller building built in the back corner of the lot would make it a much easier location to access. The employees do a great job of handle customers frustrated by the layout of the lot. A better layout would allow for more rental volume too. The best part of my experience was the helpful a relaxed attitudes of the staff, despite the high volume of activities on-site.Robert P.

I cannot say enough about Sean Norris. This was the second time Sean and I interacted on a visit and he just has one spectacular attitude. I'm actually amazed at how unaffected he acts when the facility is busy. Never loses his smile, always polite, gets the job done without hesitation. He's so courteous it's rather refreshing. Not many such workers left in the workforce these days. And no, I am not a relative or friend just a customer that uses this facility several times a year and I am glad to see Sean when he's on the job because I know I won't be dealing with an agent that has a bad attitude about doing his job.Richard S.

Overall my experience was very pleasant, friendly staff, quick and easy process when I picked up the rental truck. Dropping the rental truck after hours was a bit redundant with all the picture taking(I'm glad it's was a clear night) but I do understand why it's necessary.
