The gas was registered wrong at being 3/4 of a tank when it was only at 1/2 tank...I did return it at 3/4 of a tank but this should be done more carefully.James W.

The first tuck I received and drove away with had no working brake lights, I discovered this after being pulled over by law enforcement 4 miles down the road. I returned the truck for a replacement, but there was not any similar trucks available for my needs at this location. I was dropped off at the uhaul location so I was forces to take less than what I ordered. So I was given a truck 10' shorter than I requested for the same price. After testing the brake lights I discovered a broken white reverse light and cracked head light dome. But again this was the only truck remaining at this location. I was already an hour behind schedule so I took the only truck I could get. This delay plus short truck length forced me to have to make an additional trip in moving my property. The reason I marked cleanliness as average was because the steering wheel was coated in black dirt. Also, when I arrived at my destination to begin loading the truck, the back bed of the truck had a strong smelling odor of Marijuanna that permeated and lingered for the entire rental period. Not a hug issue but, thought it should be mentioned as I am not a marijuana user and your survey asked about cleanliness.Terry Scott R.

The fuel marking on the contract did not accurately indicate the actual gage of the truck. I bought gas and filled the tank to the level it was before yet they charged me $7 extra for fuel and incorrect paperwork. I didn't see it until I got home but I would have said something. Well the gentleman who took my order this morning was somewhat rude and if he would have told me that 17 footer cost as same as 20 I would have booked the 20 one. But the gentleman who rented me the truck he was extremely polite and even tried to get me a 20 footer but unfortunately there was none available. Employee can be having hard day ( I was the first customer) but I am a customer and I am there because of uhaul not his personal issues are not my problem.Muhammad K.

Waited a long time to get help without being told â€œI'll be right with you.â€ The male receptionist finally helped me and called me over by not saying a word and instead using his hands with a â€œcome hereâ€ gesture lol. Felt kind of weird to be honest, customer service impression was very degrading, made me feel like I was the worker and he was the customer. I almost told him â€œthank you for choosing U-Haul have a good trip.â€ We in the midst of a global pandemic, if you alive and well during this time that's every reason to be up and happy. I picked up and dropped off my you haul on the 24th of this month. I did not catch the gentleman's name who was helping me, but he was a great help. He treated me with a sense of urgency as he did with all the other customers that were there. He did a great job moving the line fast but still took the time answer questions. Great efficiency. Moving a family of 5 across 3 counties completely sucks! I hope I never have to do this again, but if I do I'm going to Uhaul.Geno V.

Different trailer then the one on the pictures. Running lights on trailer were not functional. When I told the lady at Uhaul she said they won't come on until the car turns on the headlights through the sensor. When I said I manually turned the light s on she said it doesn't work like that. Told us it would be fine. Well no running lights while we were driving at night. Note that there was another unit available in the lot.Kevin K.

The worst experience ever. I scheduled a 9 15 am pickup, the â€œsystemâ€ was down, I Finally left at 10 30 am. I attempted to use the online check in and no touch pick up of vehicle, it would let me check in but not going any further. Website is not user friendly for vehicle pickup. The customer rep at the store (only one working, 10 people behind me line out the door) stated this â€œSystemâ€ issue happens all the time on weekends and â€œwait until California signs on, it will be worseâ€. I have used U Haul many times in the past but I will research other choices going forward, no matter what the price difference might be. Like most reviews, I expect this one will go unread or the issue will not be addressed which leads to losing customers.David W.
The guy who rented me the truck was very polite and friendly oppose to going to this location the day before and the guy was rude. I was hesitant to go back the guy was so rude. I actually walked out. I'm glad I did, totally different customer service experience. Very nice guy. I didn't get his name but very friendly.
