I feel that the Baton Rouge location may be understaffed. When I arrived at the location, there was no one available to immediately assist me with my return. While one employee was assisting another customer, the other employee was engaged in a personal FaceTime conversation. She never looked up, acknowledged my presence, or communicated that someone would be with me shortly. While the service itself was not necessarily bad, the lack of acknowledgment stood out to me. I have a professional background where customer service, professionalism, and customer engagement are important, so certain things naturally stand out to me more than they may to others. A simple acknowledgment, such as “Someone will be with you shortly,” would have made a significant difference in the overall experience. I’m sharing this as constructive feedback because I believe small interactions like acknowledging a customer can have a big impact on how a business is perceived.

Gentleman that greeted and checked me met me outside and got to the business of doing his job and the process went very quickly and smoothly. As we chatted, he enjoyed telling me that his Alabama crimson tide football team "whipped yo ass" referring to my alma mater Oklahoma sooners, then he laughed. It was taken in the spirit in which it was given...friendliness! I liked the guy and he did a good job...give him a raise.

Smooth operation. Truck was in great shape. The tow dolly ratchets were very rusty.

Employee pulled up smoking in the truck, employee was cursing and instructed me not to bring the equipment back to this location. Wasn’t given furniture pads but was charged extra for not returning them. Auto transport had no jack and no wheel which made loading/unloading very inconvenient, Baton Rouge store told me there was no other auto transport trailers. Trailer tire went flat every 2 hours, had to stop and fill. Overall very dissatisfied, never had an issue with U haul of this magnitude.

Upon completing payment online, I received an email saying my pickup location was set to an ACE hardware on Millerville lane. I also however, received an email saying that the U-Haul was located on airline so the information was conflicting. I then attempted to call and ask for clarification but was placed on hold for 15+ minutes. As a result, I drove to the wrong destination and lost about an hour and a half from my reservation time, causing me to have to rush unnecessarily to return the truck back on time. The truck wasn’t even filled to 1/4 a tank like it was supposed to be. Then once returned, they tried to tell me I didn’t fill it back up because I filled it to 1/8 (where it started).

the mileage rate is really not fair. I put the required destination and did not alter and yet still I was charged for going over the mileage

I think this location is understaffed in the front of the house. The service was very slow. One person was working two lines, moving between the two as pace allowed. Having said this, the person I worked with was extremely helpful and good natured. I think she deserves recognition. Unfortunately, I cannot recall her name and it is not listed on my rental agreement. But I wish to thank her. Again. I would gladly rent from this location again, especially if she is working behind the counter.

I did not reserve at this location. It was 35 minutes away from my reservation location. Two people in line in front of me did not get the equipment they had reserved and has to leave and go elsewhere. I waited in line for approximately 30 minutes to get my trailer. Uhaul has to do better.

ThI’m a was my first time renting a trailer. I was disappointed to learn that I needed to also purchase a wiring harness connector. The wiring harness on the trailers is an old style linear plug. Most modern vehicles have a round harness plug, requiring an adapter to fit. U-Haul needs to upgrade its trailer harnesses or provide the adapter as part of the rental (no extra cost).

This was my first time using U-Haul. It was a very easy thing to do. I had to extend my rental time a few times all I had to was call and got the help I needed.

In the past I've used U haul for all my moving needs. I always reserve at least a week between 2 or 3 days in advance to secure my resevation. I've never to my knowledge set a time to return,I just arrive before closing. The individual that processed my reservation indicated that the truck was supposed to be returned within four hours. That was not communicated by me and she set the time,which resulted in my being changed for an additional day. I'm not at all pleased with the service,and unfortunately I can't give a satisfactory rating. This is my second time at this location and recieving unsatisfied service. Respectfully

The people who work at this location are amazing. Very kind and hard-working. The truck we got smelled funky and didn't have AC. The guy was so apologetic. I will use this location again.

The customer service received from the location. Employees was excellent, there was a lady in two men,. They were very helpful and personable. If there was anything to critique, I would say the inside of the trailer that I rented could have been a little bit cleaner. It wasn’t horrible, but just a little bit of dirt.

Huge attitude problem from staff. I reserved a trailer on Friday for Saturday morning, when I got there I was told the trailer was not there on site, even though I can see 3 of them on the lot. She acted as if she did not want to be bothered and didn't even try to check. After this experience I looked through the reviews and seen similar experiences to mine. Since this issue won't be fix, I'll just report the location as a whole.

I reserved a 9’ van. Was told they only had 10’ trucks even though there was a van right next to the truck they gave me. Then I was told there were no furniture alleys for my reservation, even though I saw a few in the store. Another customer couldn’t get propane at this location either.
