Very good people good service
MARTIN RLost time due to check in not being allowed until my window started. Workers were rude. Layout when lot is full is random and confusing to navigate. Vehicle’s tires were low pressure.

Still waiting on 50 dollars that was promised due too first reservation

They only made good on one of the $50.00 guaranteed reservations. The Hammond manager is rude and a liar. I was hung up on my U-Haul staff because of U-Haul’s failures

Roberto DThe process has so many flaws, it was an absolute nightmare. From being double charged, having ti resolve thay issue, the complete disconnect between each entity along the way, the shipper, the transporter, the arrival, the boxes and supplies I ordered initially with the pod weren't delivered with the pod, I had to go pick them up 40 mins across town, when I ordered and paid for them to be delivered in the pod. After a sudden family loss, this just wasn't what I needed.

Tamera proceeded and insulted me to the third employee. I replied to Tamera that she is unprofessional, rude, disrespectful, etc.. She is bad business for the Company. There should be an investigation out for her. Very mean person..

LAUNY CI had to go to 3 different locations before I received a truck. The 1st location, the guy was rude, made me feel threatened and he left upset without giving me the truck because he said I signed in through the app, he didn’t accept the card that was confirmed & completed on app & he complained about the picture the app accepted. He said the 800 number is just a phone service who controls nothing @ his location. @ the 2nd location, the box that holds key wouldn’t open with any code I was given. The lever was broken. I was told by Landon @ the Lafayette reservation location after him being on the phone through the entire process, that I could have the truck an until Sunday with no additional charges for days, mileage etc. The original drop off time was 3pm but later changed til 9 pm. I was told I wouldn’t receive any additional fees for that as well. After filing a complaint, Alex the area manager contacted me. He told me I wouldn’t receive $50 as a courtesy from Uhaul that wouldn’t affect anything with my reservation. He also said to contact him via telephone on the way to drop truck off so he could verify everything and be sure I wasn’t charged extra. However, he didn’t respond until later via phone & text saying he didn’t have his laptop when I reached out. Him and the 800 number said they didn’t see any notes on my reservation & to contact Landon about the $42 I was being charged in the app during drop off. However, Alex did say he would complete my reservation & drop off time since I didn’t proceed with drop off in app after seeing charge. But he provided me with Landon’s contact in regards to the $42 charge. I spoke with Landon & was told nothing could be done. This is an inconvenience & slap in the face to me. How could I be charged more in a 6 hour window than I was in 7 days. I feel all of this was for nothing if I still end up paying what I was told I wouldn’t have to pay. I need someone above Area manager Alex to review my case & contact me. Thank u
TYEISHA JThe Manager and Assistant Manager are terrible. Refused to rent me the trailer. They kept saying U haul doesn't recommend the toy hauler for my Side X Side. I explained the car hauler will not work as my Side X Side was too narrow. The more I tried to explain how the car hauler would not work the more stern they got that I would not be able to leave with the toy hauler. They rudely made me wait as they referred me from one to the other as one would be on cigarette break then a lunch break. I wasted a total of 2.5 hrs till I finally used my phone to rent the trailer online. If you have the time I would speak with you {504 430-8039}
Truit AThe people were very helpful when we checked in
ANDREW MI went to drop off the trailer. It was raining, I saw someone in an office but he didn’t respond. I heard someone welcome me, but couldn’t see finally found them at a counter in the far corner, not easily visible. Told her I was there to return the trailer, she said the guy in the office would help but it was his lunchtime. So went back and he came out, got on his phone and said it was checked in. He said he was going to wait until it stopped raining to help unhook. We asked if we unhooked here and he said no over there by another trailer and went inside to finish his meal. So we moved it over to the spot and unhooked it and I stepped inside and asked if needed anything else to check out and he said no we were good. So self service in the rain. I didn’t know how long it would continue to rain and didn’t have the time to wait around to see when it would quit.
DEBRA KHad to call several times to confirm we would be able to access the box. I should be able to put in a request once with someone and not be told I need to call back to confirm. We called the day before and were flying in next day, having to worry about making sure to call during short layover. Create a electroinc request form for these types of things, send confirmation via email. The staff was very kind and helpful everytime we talked.

ANTONIO LAfter my other rental truck company left me without a moving truck on my daughter’s college move in day, we came accross this location and quickly made a reservation online. Once we got there, there were several other LSU parents desperate for a moving truck. The girls at the counter were super helpful and super friendly, I wish I could remember their names. They literally saved the day for us!!!

Very bad communication when I asked the worker to explain she went to the manager we all started fussing and then she cursing infront of her manager very unprofessional!!! all they do is complain and talk badly abt the customers NO HELP! KEEP UR MONEY AND TIME. Also gave us a broken truck.

RICHARD DThe staff can be a little more user friendly and less condescending towards customers. Yes, we know they are the experts and yes we know we know little about the rental process. No need to undermine the customer by trying to make us feel less intelligent about the whole process.
