Truck was not in location the check in instructions said it would be in. The tires were low and the equipment we had added (dolly and moving pads) were not in the truck causing us to have to return to the store which ate into the first hour of our rental. I was still charged for those items which is annoying. We had people waiting at our house for almost an hour whom we're going to help us load the truck while we dealt with all of this. The pictures that we're used to indicate the condition of the truck were old or of a different truck-most noticeably they had different bumpers. The truck we had had a black bumper and the one in the picture had a white bumper. I made a note of it but the check in process makes you agree to the state of the truck before you can go to continue to the next step in the rental process. Sketchy. Upon returning the truck we filled the gas back to the original fullness- they even make you take a picture of it to prove you did so but was still charged $7 for a gallon of gas. What then was the point of me putting gas in it? Now I've paid $25 for gas for a 5 mile move. Awful experience.

Windshield had to be cleaned. Check out process for the truck on an app is ridiculous. I reserved this truck 6 to 8 weeks prior to pick up day and starting 36 hours prior to pick until i dropped it off was very difficult to get anything changed, questions answered, get the vehicle picked up was a pain and customer service throughout the entire process was a 2 on a 1 to 10 scale.

I appreciated Gavin when I picked up the Uhaul. Unfortunately there were some rather rude customers, and he was understaffed, but he kept working hard helping all of us and maintained a professional stance against the rude customers.

I can't say enough about how helpful Gavin the General manager was today. Everyone knows how stressful moving is. He saved my girlfriend and I hours of stress by making the process easy and painless. He was professional and helpful and will be using Uhaul again because of him.

The employee at the vehicle check in (white guy, reddish hair and goatee) was extremely unfriendly. He seemed very annoyed with me about where I parked the vehicle - yelled at me, waved his hands aggressively to express frustration and was rude.

Check in person canceled my order because he dialed wrong phone number; phone number was correct in system as he verified it when I arrived so had to start order all over. Vehicle smelled of smoke, had stains, and rips in fabric. Check in man was also very rude. Upon delivery of vehicle, I was charged for 2 gallons of fuel and I only went 23 miles and added 1.14 gallons of fuel, and had 20.1 mpg. I was charged for 2 additional gallons of fuel. The entire experience was below average and I'm a seasoned UHaul renter. Happy to discuss if someone contacts me. I also feel I should be refunded the 2 gallons of fuel charged as I replenished the fuel. Worst UHAUL experience ever; I would drive out of my way to avoid dealing with this location.

The lack of communication from Uhaul was disappointing, I still have not received my invoice/bill but I got this email. I see $$ coming out of my account without any explanation of why it's over the original rental agreement. Very disappointing and will not use again. They original changed the location of the reservation without any communication to me, no apologies no compensation for going to the original location only to have to drive further to the new location.

Both mobile check-in and check-out did not work. This was a waste of time as it added an extra hour to the whole processes. I will likely look to rent through a different company first because of the experience. I would like to add though that the employees and service at the location were fantastic!

The truck was not clean or swept, there was transferable oil stains and dirt throughout. The auto transport had two lights out, 3of the four tires are past wear line. One tire had cords exposed. I had to have roadside repair at my house before I could begin my move . Very dissatisfied and would never use nor recommend U-HAUL AGAIN. My p/u and drop off locations and time's we're changed numerous times. The reserved and assigned storage unit I was supposed to have never transpired. Terrible company policy to reserve but not provide these services as a perk in order to lure unsuspecting customers.

Worker was trying to charge me for a full tank of gas when it wasn't full . One of the big bosses need to talk to him. And Ito him it wasn't a full tank and he said it is almost like a full tank and he was going to charge me the gas $170 .when it was $78 & change

I had a 10ft truck reserved a couple weeks in advance. I called the morning of moving day a couple hours before my scheduled truck pick up time (11am) and asked if I could come in early to get the truck. They said yes. I showed up about 20 minutes later and that informed me that someone had canceled my reservation. Another employee said that sometimes when people show up late or don't confirm their reservation, they cancel them. I was clearly hours early. They said they called me that morning (they did, about 15 minutes before I showed up, and all I heard was incoherent crackling) and then apparently they justified canceling the reservation. They also said my reservation was for 1pm (it was not, it was for 11am, and I had clarified that multiple times on the phone in prior weeks.) One employee then said they would give me a 15ft truck for the price of the 10ft truck since they now did not even have the 10ft truck on hand. I politely thanked them for that, and they gave me the keys and told me to find the truck on my own. It was very unclear where the number on the truck was, and I ended up trying the key on every truck's door until I found one that opened the door. I started the online truck check out process and saw photos of the truck I was supposed to be in and they had a different graphic, and that's when I realized I was in the wrong truck. The key opens multiple different trucks. It would have been really nice (and easy) for one of the employees to simply give a gesture to which truck I was in. There was no other customer in the store at the time. At the end of the day upon returning the truck, I found out I had been charged for the 15ft truck, not the 10ft truck like they said. So I disputed the charge and finally got it settled. Worst Uhaul experience ever . . . please do better!

Both people I interacted with when picking up and dropping off were absolutely miserable. They made me feel like I was bothering them for being there. Definitely will not be coming back and will use another company in the future. Also, I was never given the furniture pads and was still charged for them after I had told one of the employees. He rudely responded "you have to wait" and gave no further help. 1/10 experience.

We are a tax exempt organization, which we explained multiple time when booking, picking up, and returning and brought the appropriate paperwork. When we received the receipt there was tax charged. When we asked about why the tax was charged we were told “I don't know how to deal with that. You have to call corporate”. If the individual didn't know how to remove tax for a 501(c)3, they should have said something prior to the charge being made so it could be taken care of or we could have used a different location or company.
