I reserved a 10' truck and when I arrived they did not have one. I was forced to use a pick up and because of the weather, the furniture I was moving got damaged. The staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional as well.STEPHENCHARLES P.

The truck engine light kept coming on and beeping. The dolly I rented was just thrown in the back of the truck and wasn't secured to where it was supposed to be. I was told there was "just under 3/4 tank of gas" and it had to be returned the same . I didn't really check that but did think what exactly is "just under 3/4 tank of gas" why wasn't it full and then had to be returned full. I guess I should have checked it exactly because I drove the truck 11 miles, put $7.00 worth of gas in the tank AND THEN when I received my receipt by mail, was charged an addition $18.00 for gas. I would definitely find an alternative place to rent a truck.THOMASLEROY C.
ðŸ˜¡has been a long time since we have rented and was a totally bad experience, first to have to call a central number 2 weeks plus to be told rental is in a green yellow or red statice, that we were in yellow so we should get a rental, are you kidding me we needed to move a large amount of kitchen cabinets and we should get a trailer are you kidding me ðŸ¤¦â€â™€ï¸next week don't know where or if we will get our rental until 2 days before we need it. My husband drives 20 miles to pick it up and drives 20 miles home only to find we do not have the furniture covers we ordered called u-haul central to tell them we don't have the covers we rented, she says no she had to e-mail them and they will call us, I said that's great they were supposed to call me 1 and 1/2 hours ago and still no call. My husband drives 20 miles up and 20 miles back to hopefully get the furniture covers we rented which he got. The girl told me to call customer service that they would help me was on hold for over 20 minutes, no one ever answered. ðŸ˜¡ your attempt at automation has made for VERY poor customer service, if we need a rental again we will try to find one that takes care of their customers needs ðŸ˜¡ðŸ˜¡ðŸ˜¡ðŸ˜¡RALPHDONALD P.

I have come to this location several times with no issues. Maybe it has changed owners/managers? I was offered a 26' truck then told that I would have to go to a different location to get it. I told them I preferred this location, so I will take the 20'. I requested a dolly with straps, when I arrived for pick up I was told they were all out. Then told I could rent one from Lowe's if I wanted. The gas tank was less than 1/4 filled, I was told "that's how the last person returned it". There is a gas station literally less than a block away, but every place I've rented before starts you off with a full tank. I wish I could attach pics to this as both front tires were bald, definitely a safety violation, and the driver side mirror has an "x" scratched into it. The associate that handed me the keys never walked the truck for any issues. I work in retail and understand maybe it's a staffing issue? But this visit wasn't even close to being right. Random note...i also fixed the time clock in the truck for you.PAULJOSEPH T.

11/1/21; 8am till 1/11/21 till 5pm. Truck was clean and got us to our destination and back again. Problemâ€¦. I rented 10 blankets to pick up custom made Amish furniture. Drove 100 miles there and opened up the truck box and NO BLANKETS!!!! Needed to borrow 10 blankets from Amish to get furniture home safely just as long as I return them by Thursday ( This is Monday and I work full time and took the day off today to pick up the furniture) So that is a 200 mile round trip plus my time. I asked to be compensated for the mistake and they took the charge off for the blankets and an extra $15.00. To cover my gas and time. I was not happy and asked to be compensated. He said No! I gave you enough. Ok â€¦well gas is 3.76 per gallon. I get 24 miles per gallon. 200 divided by 24 equals approximately 8 gallons. Total: $30.08. Plus my Timeâ€¦. And I get $15.00 very Disappointed!!!!CHERYLLYNN C.

The trailer tires were worn down almost to the wear bars and the trailer was pretty beat up overall, but did the job just fine. I also lubricated the screw-down ball nut to make it turn easier. Not a bad trailer, but could have used some attention.PERRYDONALD S.

When renting a trailer I would like to speak with the local office to see what they had available verses the (800) number leting me know what is available. When I have certain jobs to do in a certain area it would be helpful for driving times with that particular rentaljoe M.

Ordered Uhaul, called to verify the truck, but then told me I could not pick up and drop off at tye locations originally requested. They gave me the location to pick up and drop off, and upon arriving 15 minutes early of the scheduled pickup time and location was told they did not have a truck. I was then told to go to this location and that, "they are literally cleaning and gasing it up, have it ready for you right now". So I go across town to this location and upon getting there they give the truck they got ready for me, to another person. They finally get another truck for me, and I leave but the whole time the truck has lights signaling it needs oil, and giving audible beeps because of the door not closing while driving due to the runner seal falling completely off the door frame. To top it off, I was charged 170$ when told it would originally cost roughly 90$. For this experience...not worth it.MICHAELALLEN O.

The vehicle cabin had dirty tissue paper, strange white powder and some pills lying on the floor. The cargo area had a random wooden plank. The cabin was definitely not sanitized either. The cargo roof was obviously damaged and previously repaired by U-Haul it seems, but it was leaking water and the cargo area on the driver side was getting flooded. Multiple moving boxes got soaked and I had to make alternative plans to protect from water damage. Absolutely horrible. Even my prior U-Haul rental costing $2500 from Austin to Miami was me mechanically unfit and constantly pulling to the right couldn't drive straight. Uhaul support can't even help make it right. Feels like uhaul cheats their customers I to renting damaged trucks and then offering no compensation for the inconveniencesshahab S.

The e-alert system made it needlessly frustrating and time-consuming. If there was an issue with the reservation, I should have been notified when I made the reservation, not at the time I was scheduled to pick up the truck. Billing for gas refills was inaccurate and would have been simpler if the truck was rented with a full tank to begin with.Joshua V.

We rented 2x in just a few days the second time went well however the first... the clerk didn't know the trailer wouldn't lift high enough to go on my truck. The clerk directing me to back up (so he could attempt to get the trailer onto my truck) attempted to get my truck so close that he actually directed me to back into the trailer causing damage to my bumper! After all that we still had to downgrade to a smaller trailer. He gave zero direction as to putting in a claim he actually acted like no big deal.JEANMARIE S.

Make sure there spare keys for all vehicle on hand for emergencies. Roadside assistance never answered the phone after holding on for 1 hour. That was after I returned to the location for a lock out.no help offered. I got it worked out.Linda H.
