At time of arrival to my pickup no one was at the service desk I was handed the truck full of snow and chose to brush it off return the equipment with the same amount of fuel that it was picked up with I got charged with a fuel surchargeGabriel R.

I was disappointed with the experience and would not recommend that location. I had issues from the moment I walked in to for my reservation time. I paid for a 24 hour block to rent the Uhaul truck which was conformed and purchased online, but when I showed up there was an issue with checkin and apparently someone else had overlapping time with my reservation and I had to give up time with the uhaul to accommodate your companys problem. There are anout 20 other Uhaul trucks in the lot, so I dont understand why your company couldn't accommodate the customer instead! Also the door to passanger door wouldn't stay closed and periodically opened causing me to pull over just to fix the door, as well as the key having issues turning over in the column. Finally as if that wasnt bad enough returning the truck was just as badl, I waited in designated area outside for assistance and after waiting for awhile I finally walked inside wher a rude employee loudly told me to go outside and wait. Horrible customer service and overall just a bad experience and because of the issue with the rental time leaving me shorter hours I wasnt able to finsh moving and now must rent for another day.JAMIE H.

Everything was good, the van was clean and in good working order. The negatives were that there was not parking on the lot, so people were literally parked in the middle of the road. Also the online check in process was slow and didnt even complete, as I got a call from the representative to finish over the phone. Took over 30 min to check in. The truck was extremely unsafe. The brakes felt like they weren't going to work. The truck had trouble starting the first time starting it and the truck leaked amd got all of my belongings wet. When I returned the truck and told them about my items getting wet and damaged they didn't care and pretty much said oh well. Horrible experience and will never use again!!!MICHELLE R.

When a customer notices that the amount has changed from what you were told from online reservation and the cashier didn't say a thing, that's not good business. Requested 15ft truck with no extras at $69 +tax and it comes to be $93 + tax on receipt. It's just not right. And word of mouth goes far.LYNN M.

First of all the manager at least I believe it was the manager a woman at the location was a bitch. The way she talked to her employee when we were discussing the insurance possibly on the rental truck and she snapped at her and told her never do that again! Exactly what they were referring to it had something to do with the insurance I don't know what I just thought the manager handled it wrong. The main complaint is when I left the location the engine check light was on and I drove by 3 miles down the road and it didn't go off so I turned around and went back because I wasn't gonna drive 20 miles with the check engine light on I know better than that. When I got back to the location the person that waited on me plugged in a monitor under the dash and cleared the light and said all this happens all the time. Especially with their one-way trucks. What that means not sure. Anyway I got in the truck and took off within five minutes and check engine light came back on I drove to my destination got what I had to get and drove back brought the truck back and I ask that they remove 6 miles off of my mileage because I drove out 3 miles and drove back because the check engine light they said they couldn't do it. I said why not, she said you drove the truck away from here so you were driving it. That's what I was told. Well to me that's bullshit. I drove 3 miles and drove back 3 miles because the check engine light on your truck was on and I'm not gonna drive a vehicle with a check engine light on I never do I'm 65 years old I've worked on cars for all my life and I know that you don't drive it a check engine light on. Anyway she gave me a hard time about removing the 6 miles which yes my bill was $101 and six dollars really doesn't mean that much but it's the whole idea of customer service. I will never go back to that location again to rent a vehicle Because I'm not gonna deal with somebody who is gonna be a bitch to me about six dollars. Customer service is important in this day. They did End up removing the six dollars but when I had to go through a bunch of shit to get that done I'm sorry but that's wrong that's not how to handle business. Don't rip people off and don't double charge them. This is the second time a uhaul has done this. This time I didn't have the vehicle for even 9 hours and you charged for 2 full days! That's 48hrs! Not 9! Somebody needs to answer me, I've tried reaching out on multiple occasions and it seems like nobody wants to help correct it. The representative that assisted me had another customer who was waiting for equipment to come back. The representative called the person who currently had the equipment out and explained it was due back 10am... it was 11am at this time. The customer on phone was hard to deal with, apparently arguing over contract return time. The customer must have said they weren't aware, also that she uses the store often, and that it has never been issue in past the representative was very professional and graceful, explain that the contract indicates a return of 10am and that the customer agreed to the contract by signing. The representative, with the other customer in the store waiting for the equipment, asked how soon the lady could come back... the lady said she was in Cincinnati!! The representative was very professional, pleasant, and graceful throughout the telephone call. I teach prevention and management of disruptive behavior (deescallation) ... I complimented the representative on handling the call ... resisting the urge to become frustrated, hostile, threatening. Sadly, I didn't get her name, but she was one of only two ladies working at the facility on Stumpf Rd in Parama, Ohio. She did an amazing job with lady on phone and helped to find a solution with customer in the store, all while remains calm, professional and pleasant!!!ERNEST S.

Your employee Heather Allen ( I don't know for sure if this was her name, but it is the name that showed up on my rental paperwork at pick up that marked the gas and mileage for the truck) at this branch was so unprofessional and unnecessarily rude and downright disrespectful. She said and I quote as soon as I walk into the location before I could even reach the counter â€œ Oh this must be the kid who kept changing his pick up time who does he think he isâ€ when I got to the counter she said â€œ I shouldn't even let you take this truck because you changed your pick up timesâ€ to which I replied â€œI changed it twice to available times that you had and I'm paying for itâ€ then as she was getting the keys she said â€œ do you even know how to drive you better not mess up this truck. And incase you see there is a curb pulling out of here so don't hit itâ€ I replied that â€œthe license your is holding states that I am have a commercial drivers license and I drive bigger trucks than this everyday not that it was any of her businessâ€ then I asked about dropping it off overnight as the scheduler stated when I made the reservation and the instructions I received via the Uhal website for my specific rental that I can drop it off after hours just fallow the return instructions and steps sent to me via a link to my phone after booking the reservation. Heather said â€œno we don't have the staff in the morning to handle that so you can't bring it overnight you need to park it somewhere else and bring it after we openâ€ I replied that their lack of staff should have nothing to do with the time I return the truck. Heather wasn't having it and told me that I am not allowed to bring it until the next day. This was the worst experience I have ever had with Uhal ever and we have used Uhal for all moving needs. This girl alone is enough to run the place out of business if she treats all the customers that way. I have no idea how she is still employed here and how the management turn a blind eye to her inexcusable behavior to a paying customer who didn't do nor say anything. This terrible treatment happened before I even reached the counter to pick up my rental. Next time I would rather overpay and rent a truck from Penske. Please terminate this employee as I'm sure she will drive away everyone else who comes to this establishment.JAMES D.
