Not really happy with U-Haul at the moment. I set my pickup location a half mile from where I needed to be, and for some unknown reason, y'all relocated me 30 minutes through traffic away. I really didn't have the time considering I had to travel from Augusta to Atlanta and back in the same day. I think next time I'll shell out the extra money for Penske. I would say you get what you pay for, but I feel like a was overcharged since I had to pay extra for the mileage away from and back to the pickup location, and the extra gas to fill the truck back up. Also, I was informed of this the day before via text to call about my reservation, and had to wait on hold for 45 minutes while I was transferred back and forth while U-Haul figured out what happened with my reservation. Instructions for check in were not clear on attainable. When employee saw us and tried to help she simply pointed at the QR code, which was not the correct check in. Although we were the only customers there, waiting on keys for several minutes. No appliance dolly was in the truck even though I requested and paid for it.Elizabeth K.

I had a reservation 85720835 for 20 feet but I was told by uhaul that the truck was not returned and they have no more truck to give me. Now I had to go to another place and rent a 10 feet which was not enough for my move. I suffered serious time and financial loss because of Uhaul. I pre-registered online and checked in online with hopes of things moving more quickly, but apparently that didn't apply to renting car-haulers. When I questioned the rep at the dedk, he said that was a " corporate " tool and that the local store still needed my information and had to hook up the hauler. Fortunately, there weren't many people renting on a Friday evening, so the litlle extra paperwork went quickly. It would have been nice to know early check in want necessary for my rental, however.Joseph C.
Greg was an excellent employee- quick, friendly, and very helpful. We had difficulty finding the truck in the lot, and it had ants in the back. He vacuumed it out, apologized, and gave me $50 off. A sign by the road that says â€œtruck drop off enter hereâ€ would be so useful. Myself and two other trucks behind me pulled in the wrong entrance and there's no signs to indicate otherwise until you pull in, the workers look at your weird then you pull back onto the main road to get into the correct entrance.Nicholas V.

I called prior to reserving my truck and got a quote. By the time I had turned the truck back in I was only 48 miles over what I had been quoted for, or should I say supposedly been quoted for and my bill was almost 50% higher than my quote.
