There was no dolly in the truck when we picked it up and we were not told that there was supposed to be a dolly in the truck because I had told the person who gave us the keys that I did not want to rent one (we had our own). Then, the next day, after we returned it, I was charged for a dolly which was not in the vehicle to begin with. On top of that, I ordered two packs of moving pads and a tv box. The pads were in the truck and returned, however, there was no tv box in the truck to use when we got to the moving location. When I called the location to ask about the dolly charge, she was rude and not helpful at all. We have told her to go back and look at the cameras because there was no dolly, but I have still been charged.Austin M.

The check engine light in the van was on, the parking break was broken, I purchased insurance and once I got stuck in the mud was told by the employee at this store that it would cover a tow. I wait 20 minuets after filling out an emergency help form online only to find out it actually doesn't cover a tow. The employee was nice initially but it was not a good experience overall.Allison W.

Fix your trucks. I know I put a quarter tank of gas in this truck, however personnel claims I did not and I ended up getting charged wayyyy more than I should have. No I do NOT recommend this shady ass uhaul... I'd rather drag my belongings across the country than use a uhaul again ðŸ˜’Jared B.

Overall, very good rental. The people I delt with were very courteous and professional. The only hiccup we had was the location I was to pick up my truck from did not have their vehicle returned to them the night before. When an attendant gives me a price quote that person should follow up which pricing that was quoted! I went to the location for availability of furniture pad rental! The attendant dated my inquiry as when I rented the pads that I picked up the following day! The rental charge told to me was 5 dollars per 6 pads. I picked up the pads the following day and keep them two days! When I checked the charge I was billed for 3 days! Not good business! I will never return to the same location! I feel cheated!Kin R.

We rented a 6'x12' trailer because we needed to haul a hot tub. We discovered that the trailer opening was not 6' wide!!!!! We are pissed that you miss represented the trailer as a 6' trailer when it isn't! We will never use your equipment again. We had a very hard time getting the hot tub into the bed of the trailer.laura S.

Make sure truck is properly maintained. It was raining the day I returned the truck and I had a damaged windshield wiper. Also, the handle on the back of the truck was rusty and difficult to work with.Heath A.
The only problem was the self drop off. The area to put the trailer was blocked by trucks and the parking lot wasn't accessible. We had to put it by other trailers but the instructions weren't very clear.Lori R.

Service at the UHaul was fine. They got me out quickly. UHaul is the bottom of the barrel and I would never rent one except that it's hard to get a Penske truck these days. You still have trucks, even if they have 100k miles or more. Your 15 foot truck is really a 12 foot truck. The floor is 12 feet. Ceiling measurements don't matter. The gas tank intrusion into the back is annoying. It's made more annoying by the presence of a hand truck and blankets on the other side that I didn't order and would have to pay for if I moved them. They take up space on an already undersized truck and between the hand truck and the gas filler, it's impossible to slide a heavy thing in on either side.Erik E.

This location was very helpful. We told them what we were moving and they help us on the size of truck and the extra things we needed for the move. We have any surprises. I was not informed by the woman working there that there would be a $20 charge for them to check in my vehicle the next day. I did not know that I needed to "check in" the vehicle myself on my phone... if I had known that I absolutely would have done that. I'm sure it says that in the fine print of the contract but, as I'm sure you guys know very well, that when someone is moving they hardly have the awareness to read a contract when they are thinking of a thousand other things. I rented a van @ U Haul for $19.99 per day. I extended rental 3 times, each approved by U haul. I was denied an extension on 4th day and was threatened to report the van as stolen. I was told by "Ron" the van was reserved for 8am next morning and U haul had no other vans. Van was returned @ 2 AM. I received damage report to a "latch" on one of the doors. The report stated incident happened at 2:30 PM,12 hours AFTER I returned van. And what about the new reservation for 8am? Could that customer have damaged the van? I know I didn't . I was charged for pads, dolly, and boxes that I did not order. I also was given the van keys by "Thomas" before I was fully checked in. All the reports were made by "Thomas". I have 2 pending charges $508 & $373. One for rental, the other for damages. These charges are under investigation, and I hope U Haul will correct this to my favor. This situation has caused me financial delay and stress. I cannot speak on other locations, but 33rd and Yale should be avoided.BARBARA W.
