The trailer we rented was in no condition to travel the distance we needed. Halfway through the trip we called roadside assistance twice, 1st time to fix the wiring and the second time to replace BOTH tires... all within 6 hours of each call
JACQUELINE ONothing I can think of. The staff here are top notch the showroom very clean. The equipment is in fabulous shape with great features like counter balanced rear ramps the decline slowly and not with a thud, eliminating injury from a heavy ramp. This is my third time renting the same size trailer for tree removal to compost yard.
BRIAN FReserved and paid for utility dolly, but did not receive one. This made our move very strenuous. I suggest letting the customer know there are no dollys for rent prior to paying and leaving location.

Rhett SI couldn't access the Wordlock, there are simple and effective system to access keys. Imagine the situation I am currently in because I couldn't access the lock box. I paid for a service and couldn't use. I am super disappointed
REYNOLDS EIt was too expensive to rent in town/km and my reservation was changed last minute. So my moving experience was rushed for time. Very inconvenient
JUANITA SI have dealt with U-Haul on several occasions in the past, but this was by far a superior experience for me. I dealt directly with two staff members, who were extremely professional, polite, and helpful. A third staff member acknowledged my presence and advised that someone would be with me directly, even though he was only passing through the sales area. This location was spotlessly clean, and should I need a rental again, I will be certain to use the services offered at this location. Thanks to everyone involved with my rental.
SIDNEY BWas told everything was fine with no extra charges when dropping off the truck but was floored to receive an additional gas charge today 7 days later…at drop off also tried to have the receipt changed accordingly to my senior moms name for income tax purposes (which had special notes on file) as she was the one moving and paying for everything, was initially told yes we can change the receipt but then told there was a glitch and the rep would email me a revised receipt 1/2 later which never happened.
MICHELLE KEverything went well. Staff were friendly and helpful. The vehicle was exactly what I needed. There was a bit of garbage left in the vehicle from the previous renter which was annoying but not a big problem.
RICHARD DI had booked a hitch installation ahead of time showed up to my appointment and the guy hadn’t been there in three days , why wasn’t I contacted .. phoned , emailed nothing .. so they said they couldn’t do it and had to pick another day .. even though I took that day off work to do this .. anyways huge let down , then he said I’ll take off a convenience fee when you come in tomorrow and told me the new charge .. when I went back the next day it was another guy that claimed he couldn’t do anything and charged me the full amount anyways ??? And I had intentions of booking a trailer and I honestly just wish they would keep their word and work with me on this . However I will be calling the manager on the business card and hopefully I can get some money refunded or the trailer paid for at least for this extreme disorganization and let down .
Chynna-dawn WI reserved a trailer in early July for the 3rd week in August, for pick-up in Lloydminster and drop off in Saskatoon. The day before I was supposed to pick up, I received a message indicating that it wasn't available and the nearest location was 2 hours away. This is absolutely ridiculous - two hours! Luckily, we hadn't left Saskatoon yet so we were able to get a trailer to take with us all the way to Lloydminster, however, it was one size down so we had to cram a lot more things into our vehicles. When we went to pick up at the Saskatoon location, there was a very long wait because the cashier couldn't check out the customer in front of us. There apparently was something wrong with the POS system so it took close to 20 minutes for him to be checked out. Then when it came time to check us out, it was the same problem - the POS system didn't work. By this time, we were an hour behind schedule so I was quite frustrated. I had cash and said I would pay with that but the cashier said he was not allowed to accept cash as a form of payment. Who doesn't accept cash?? He ended up manually keying in the credit card number numerous times before it finally worked. All in all, it was very frustrating and a colossal waste of our time.
JASON RWas totally given misinformation about return of deposit. Told it would just be given back on debit card when the van was returned.returned and told different information about debit card rentals that was never even mentioned. Total b.s. poor management.
BRETT HDon’t tell the customer they could possibly have to pick up their truck 250km away depending on what traffic control says “the day before”. Scary

DANILO Cpicked up on a Sunday no-one around as expected. Gas gauge reading was lower by a 1/4 on app than what showed when I started truck. truck was on the level so I assumed someone had siphioned gas off but was no one to complain too
RON WI recognize that you are an international company. However, your central booking needs to do a lot better in terms of organization. I was shunted from one location to another because your central booking didn’t know the trailer was broken. They reserved an enclosed trailer rather than a flatbed. They reserved it for one day rather than 4. I asked legitimate questions that they didn’t have the answer to. The person I spoke to was pleasant and tried to be helpful but the situation was absolutely distressing for me!!!!!!!

LAKSHAY AI was hoping to rent the cargo van but settled on the bigger vehicle because it was what was available. But when I showed up (to the wrong location, my fault..) the men at the front helped me get the cargo van and get my reservation changed. Quick and painless, they went out of their way to see if they could help and ended up helping me out a lot. I would absolutely go through Uhaul at that location again. Drop off was super smooth with no problems, made my night easy!
CHELSEA HA conversion chart for miles per hour to kilometers per hour for us over 60. Still had a good experience dealing with them.
JO-ANN GIn my first visit, there was only one person working there and I was waiting a while in line. I was not told that I needed to give them 24 hours notice before getting access to my own storage unit. They told me that they also couldn’t access my unit because they ran out of gas for the forklift and had to come by the next day. They also said they couldn’t find my contract although one had already been drafted. They said that they had my name under another unit and got me the wrong box despite telling them exactly what my box number was. I felt the staff was highly incompetent. I went to Storage Mart and they had everything lined up for me before I even showed up. Asides from renting the moving van I will not be coming back. The staff also made more excuses and complaints about their own facility and management than actually helping me out. The staff was also more concerned about staying past their working hours than helping me out.

MARCEL WPicked up a 5x8 trailer to haul some stuff to a trade show for the weekend. Noticed the barn doors didn't seal real well but figured it would be okay. We live an hour out of Saskatoon. Got home opened the doors and noticed a hinge was broke and here's where it got funny. I called right away to let them know, so that I wouldn't get charged and was put on hold. Put my phone on speaker and started loading the trailer. We decided we would tape some plastic inside the doors to keep out the dust. Had the trailer loaded in 15-20 mins. Still on hold. Had to leave so we wouldn't be late. Got to the Hwy, 15 min drive, still on hold. Headed to Saskatoon, still on hold. Wife asks how long I'm going to wait? By this time I'm invested so gonna see how long it will take. About 40 mins committed now, still on hold. At the 50 min mark, still on hold and getting closer to Saskatoon, we get an idea. We take a quick video and are gonna see if we can get to Uhaul and walk into the storefront while still on hold. We're thinking social media gold. We hit the 60 min mark and still on hold. Now we're 15 mins to Uhaul at 1 hour and 6 mins and they answer, (there goes the video, bummer.) Young lady answers and says "Uhaul how can we help you?" I'm stunned, I'm quiet, then say, "you realize I've been on hold for over an hour?" In a, I could care less attitude, she says "sorry, we're really busy, what would you like?" So I'm writing all this to answer the above question, What can we do to improve for the next customer? As a business owner myself I would suggest a course on service for your employees. I get that things get busy, but a simple "hey we're really swamped can you call back in a bit," or a simple "hey we haven't forgot about you" could go a long way. I'm just saying.

DAWOOD WThe agent who helped us was very good at her job. The truck did what it needed to without issues. The location did not have the equipment we had first requested, we were given an upgrade at no cost. We would recommend and use again.
David SI don’t understand why a spare tire is not provided! It is quite unnerving to make a trip to northern Saskatchewan, forest fire area, no cell service in some areas and just having roadside assistance. If we get 2-3 hours north, have a flat in a no service area, now what? Sit on the side of the road for hours when a tire change could take just minutes?! Not a good situation!

TRAVIS LPaid for my U-Haul rental in full. Suddenly there were new charges of approximately $4 which were not valid. The U-Haul clerk spent over half an hour trying to get rid of them. That was very annoying when time was of the essence.
WENDY HNo one was in the store when I first got there, waited 10 minutes called to store and was sent to the regional call centre. The proceeded to call the store to tell me know one answered then called the store manager who told the call centre that some one should be there and the manager will call. I saw the worker answer the phone from the manager ( the worker was in another building) and then waited another 15 minute before the worker came to the office. At drop off, I should up shortly after opening 7am and no one was there. Doors were locked. I dropped off my equipment and called the store back at 735am and still no answer. What’s the deal with this?
DEVON HOnly 1/4 tank of gas in truck. Stopped to get gas a tgrasslands. We filled the truck up for $126.98. Could smell gas and dripping on the pavement. We drove to moose jaw. Watching the gas tank all the time and monitoring the smell. On return to saskatoon we had 1/4 tank of gas we did not fill the gas tank up as it would just drip out and still smelling of gas. The next day i get billed for something else

ROGER WShorten the wait time. There was literally one person working which caused waiting times of 25-35 minutes on pickup at 2 locations as well as drop off. This alone will make me rent elsewhere next time.
DUSTIN CMake sure that the size of truck that has been booked is what you are giving your customers. To call a customer and tell them they have to take a smaller truck than what was originally booked is extremely unprofessional and a huge inconvenience when the truck you’re given doesn’t fit what’s needed to move. Unacceptable

RYAN COnly thing I really noticed was the boxes in the entrance where you'd drive in to do a in person equipment return big lot had enough room to pull in and unload my car then flip around to get into the equipment return garage
