There is a wonderful employee named Chris on site. He is friendly, professional, and solves any problem instantly. Other employees who work there are terrible. There’s one with a ponytail. He’s awful.

Rented van for 3 hours and didn't take insurance. Check-in pointed out a 1/2 inch scratch on bumper and charged me 0ver $200 for it. I did not hit anything and believe that an attendant at U-Haul did this. Currently checking into legal action for this SCAM. I will tell everyone I know about this rip off and will NEVER USE U-Haul AGAIN!!!

The reason I answered the maintenance question "no" was that the battery died while I had the truck. The service to have the battery replaced on the road was excellent, so no problem there. But the terminals on the battery were very corroded, so that battery probably should have been replaced prior to renting the truck again. But overall, great location, great staff.

I think it would be a good idea to let the renter know about the tow/haul indicator. We were riding with the light on much of or trip and thought there must be a problem with the transmission. Overall,we were very pleased with the employees and would rent from U-Haul again.

I put a dozen of the moving pads on my order which I assume were put in the back of the uhaul. I hooked up and when they got done they said good to go and I took off. Got home and no pads in back. How does one go about getting that refunded back to card charged?

Trailer itself was in fine condition and operated as it should. However, it smelled horribly of cat urine. Returned after one load and dropped it off early. Did not want my belongings smelling like cat pee.

The location was busy, so the employees seemed rushed. When returning the truck, I mentioned the MPG was low (approximately 2 MPG). I put 5 gallons in prior to returning and only drove 13 miles.

I had paid to rent a utility dolly. However, was never put it in the truck when I picked it up. Would love a phone call and a reimbursement for the dolly I paid for and didn’t use.

The $19.99 daily rate is deceiving. Ended up spending $160.00 w the mileage fee plus picked up with a quarter tank of gas. Husband filled up tank (like you do when you rent a car) which then cost an additional fifty bucks. Probably cheaper to use a moving company for smaller moves.

The experience was good. Vehicle clean and ran good. Just confused when I rented the cargo van. Thought $19.95 plus 0.79/mile. Before we left my card was charged $70 then we came back and was charged another $63 plus the $13 in gas I put in. Big time musleading. A 38 mile round trip costed $150 to drop off a sectional the next town over. Kinda was shocked in the total of it all.

Auto transport that I was hooked up to had a flat tire. Filled out information on what I was towing with and what I was hauling on trailer on line. Two days before rental got phone call asking same questions. At the pick up location I was ask the same information as before again . Need to get shit together.

The gentleman assist me yesterday morning is a great employee. The female employee should be fired immediately. I saw that they were surveillance tape, so watch the tape from 8:30 a.m. to 9 am. After waiting an hour and a half for a truck to be returned and then finding out that the prior customers not going to return it and then I had to get a smaller truck, she literally walked away from me during the middle of transaction. I hope there is sound on the surveillance tape. She was there this morning when I returned the truck. I noticed on the receipt that we did not get the $50 refund, so I had to call the manager to get it. That was not unintentional on her part, I can assure you. If she does not like her job, she should work somewhere else that she does not have to deal with people in person.

When the truck breaks down and you make the renter sit with it beside the highway for 5 hours to get it fixed, causing him have to take the vehicle home that evening and complete the dellivery the following day since the delivery site is closed, he should not be charged for the additional day, mileage and fuel. Not to mention the workers at the job site waiting to unload the truck. Who compensates them?

I was really impressed with this Uhaul location! Your whole staff is phenomenal, but Nick really went above and beyond to make sure I left happy. This location was a bit out of my way, but after the service I recieved, I will never use any uhaul but this one. Thanks Nick!!

I rented a 5x8 trailer. It did seem pretty worn but was sufficient. The one issue I had was the light hookup for the trailer drained my battery. On our first load I left the flashers on and the light hookup plugged in. When we were ready to leave my battery was dead. I called for a jump. when I got home I did not leave flashers on but I left the lights to trailer plugged in and the car battery died again. The bottom line is I unplugged and replugged in light hookup each time we stopped and my battery did not die again.

We rented the 26 ft van and it is a little deceiving that it says it would fit a 4 bedroom home. After loading our 2 bedroom home and all of most of our boxes on the truck, we still needed to use additional means in order to move our entire house. I think someone with a 4 bedroom home would have a very difficult time fitting just their furniture on, let alone additional boxes.

I came in at the last minute for a one-way long haul to from Pittsburgh, Pa area to Decatur, Ga. I needed the smallest truck for that one-way trip, and since cargo vans don't qualify for non-local, one-way I chose the 10 ft.truck. I noticed that the first 3 trucks that I looked at had between 95,000 and 99,000 miles. I was uneasy about that though I have been told that all vehicles are thoroughly checked out before rental, I asked if they had any lower mileage on it. I was told that one had come it with only 2000 miles and that they were happy to rent that one to me. The people at the rental facility in Moon Township, Pa. were the greatest. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes, which I was grateful for. The truck ran perfectly. I was told to expect 12 miles to a gallon, but with the interstate consistent speed between 65-70 I averaged 14 to 15 mpg. That really helped. The truck was a breeze to use. It was bigger than I needed, but worked very well. I dropped off the vehicle at a facility about 2-3 miles from my destination and the person there had me in and out in less than 5 minutes. Over all, this trip was a very pleasant one. My wife and I are both 72 years old and were a bit unsure about driving a truck for that distance. But, in the end, we had a great time. Thanks U-Haul

You must make it clear to a person renting that the mileage is super high when not using it for local use. The HUGE $19.99 is a bait and switch. Extremely disappointed at the high cost of renting this vehicle for a 2 1/2 hour drive. The rental cost was not worth what the trip was for. RENTER BEWARE!!!!!

The installation of the hitch appears to be great; however, when I went to pick up the vehicle the 2 customer service team members present could not have cared less that I had entered the store. As I could tell that they were not customer focused I approached the salesman and asked for assistance. Unfortunately, I was met with the impression that this young man really did not want to assist me, nor did he want to be performing his job, to the extent that he could not have been less customer oriented. This was extremely disappointing and does not reflect my initial dealings with other team members when making the booking for the hitch to be fitted. Overall this experience tarnished my opinion of U-Haul, in particular the Moon, University Blvd branch. I hope this young man who works in customer service at this branch finds a purpose, drive and ambition to succeed in life at everything he does. Not just drift through with a careless attitude that I experienced.

Disorganized at pickup, truck had less than 1/8 tank of gas. They gave us a small credit back for having to gas up before our planned trip but it was an unexpected inconvenience. Truck cab smelled like smoke. Also, we had rented for the day, and they tried to tell us we needed to have it back by 4 instead of by closing at 7 because they had double booked and rented it to someone else at 4. We really feel like that should not have been our problem to deal with. We couldn't make any promises but lucky enough for the next unsuspecting renter, we had it back in time for them to rent it. That seemed like an unprofessional move to me, to double book and put that on the client.

need better rate for mileage. I only went a total of 83 miles and I had to put 9 gallons of gas in the tank. Less than 10 miles per gallon???

Chris and David were extremely helpful in a problem situation. There was some confusion on the install time because of a part not being on site. They were able to reschedule when the parts arrived and did a slight adjustment on the cost due to lost time. Making sure the customer was taken care of. The install went well and all is good.

The vehicle was very good and the people we had contact with were very personable and friendly. However, charges were posted to 2 different credit cards, the card I used to reserve the vehicle and then to the card I used to actually pay for the rental. I was told the charge to the card I used to make the reservation would be reversed. However, it's been 5 days since I returned the vehicle and both charges still appear on the cards.

We rented a 6x12 trailer with a ramp drive 2 hours to pick up a utv but did not realize the ramp opening was only 4’11” opening and would not fit so we had to reyurn the trailer and reserve one without a ramp to get the opening space for another day.

U-Haul in general has been an unpleasant experience. I have rented several trucks and trailers in the last 6 months and this most recent experience was unacceptable. I spent way too long on the phone scheduling rentals and not having the equipment I requested on the truck when I picked it up. Not knowing that until I got to my destination. Nothing about this most recent experience was easy.

Our experience was great. We picked up the truck with Dave who was very helpful and kind. When we later ran into a problem with having the truck back in time, Billy was terrific to work with. She was able to extend our contract time so that we could get the truck unloaded and returned later than we anticipated. She truly saved the day. Thank you, Billy.

Place was great only issue is that if you don't have a truck the loading dock is a hinderance. The elevator is a hit or miss if it decides to operate. Have to slam 2 or 3 times.
