The rep came out and assisted me with the hook-up and loading of vehicle. Unfortunately, while hooking up the front safety chain the rep tugged on the plastic front fender aero guard and broke the clips that hold it on to the metal bumper. All that was said when this happened was, "oh sh#!. How did that happen"? My reply, "its 28 degrees out and plastic becomes brittle. You shouldn't have pulled on that". She didn't offer me to come inside to fill out an incident report or anything else. With-in 15 minutes I called corporate to fill a report. N oot pleased that I wasn't offered any further action from her on this incident. Waiting to hear from corporate on how to handle this incident. Otherwise, the rep was nice and the location was clean.

The trailer was covered in cement residue and the floor of the trailer had cement covered gravel. I have rented from U-Haul several times and have always had clean equipment and returned them clean. They had me backup and hooked up so fast that I didn’t get a look at the trailer and said I was good to go. When I got home the link on the equipment was expired and I called and was directed to a call center and she resent the link and had me take pictures and send them. They should never let equipment go out in this condition, it was obviously used for some type of construction. I will never use this location again.

While our equipment was clean, it leaked and many of our items, including very expensive books, were destroyed during our move. I would suggest regularly checking your trailers to make sure they are water tight. We are very upset about the loss of our items.

I'm not lying when I say that these people are the best people that you can possibly rent from in Pittsburgh. They're the nicest most down-earth sweet people you could ever meet. I've never been to a U-Haul before that has free boxes because other people have donated them or a donation area of just things I've seen a piano there that somebody donated that wasn't auctioned off or anything that you could just oh I like a piano and I want that piano you could take it. I know that's kind of a wild story but to be honest they are the best part of what Pittsburgh is and I hope that you would consider renting from them. This is not a pain advertisement at all. They're just great people!

I added an extra lock on my door somebody took it off. They got into my storage area but the U-Haul lock was still on there and my stereo is missing and I haven’t had time to report it and I went to them the supervisor there and told him about it and he act like oh it didn’t happen. I know he had a negative attitude about it and I was I was so upset that I moved out the very next week.

Great secure facility. Clean, quiet, and convenient. Optional sizes of storage rooms, carts available inside door to transport items to your storage locker. Loading dock for convenience. Got a promotional free month. Very helpful staff. Green area to recycle/reuse boxes and/or stuff.

Somebody climbed over the wall in to my unit.... and stole several things....I didn't have insurance therefore I didn't notify you.... I'm very upset with this situation...that's what why I took my business to a different company....

The storage is not secured. Open for anyone to walk into the facility 24/7.
Did not need to swipe access card to get into building, on elevator, or on second floor at 9p at night. Plus, they have big rat traps in the storage units.

Place was great only issue is that if you don't have a truck the loading dock is a hinderance. The elevator is a hit or miss if it decides to operate. Have to slam 2 or 3 times.
