I went to the North Shore and the Moon location. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. My only complaint or area of improvement is in getting through to someone on the phone in a timely manner. That was frustrating with long wait times, but once I got someone , they were great.

I rented a Motorcycle Hauler, and it couldn't have been easier. UHAUL staff hooked it up, tested it, and sent me on my way. When I got back, they unhooked the trailer, and that was it. This UHAUL location is much better than the other, independent locations that I've used in the past. I don't have the need to use UHAUL a lot, but when I do, this is where I'll go.

I live in Wexford and pass other rental properties to go to this location because I get the equipment I want. Its clean and new as possible. The personal are great. I can leave my car in the rear of the building and feel it is safe for my return. I have been coming here at this location for 15+ years and will continue. The always tell me the right equipment for my particular job I have to do.

Though the location was clean, professional and convenient; the trailer was not checked prior to rental. A quick check would have revealed a shake. I thought this was maybe due to just poor equipment. However, after the retread came off of the tire and a replacement was changed the shake was gone. Testing the equipment between uses would be beneficial.

Someone hit and ran our u haul while we were inside dropping off boxes and drug and damaged the ramp and broke it - the staff was so kind and understanding that we did not cause this damage and just accepted the police report and reassured us. It made a frustrating situation better!

Very fast service. When I first arrived they hitched up the trailer did the paperwork and had me out the door in less than 15 minutes. When I returned the trailer they ran out and took it off before I could back it up. I was done within 5 minutes. Thanks for the great service!!

I rent from uhaul a lot, and I’ve always had really good experiences. The moon location has always been kind and wonderful. Unfortunately today I did not have the same experience. I asked for the dumpster fee and was told by 2 women with no explanation that I wasn’t allowed to use it. When asked why the main woman working just repeated you can’t use it. I asked why there was a sign saying it could be used etc and once again she said you can’t use it. She was rude and had mean girl energy. All I wanted was a reason why.

I rented a van for two days and a truck for a third day. There are two women that work at this location and one of them is absolutely fantastic and the other is horrible to deal with. When I went in to pick up the extra items I purchased the day before the first day of my rentals, the difficult woman told me that I might have to drive 50 miles to pick up my vehicle and that “confirmed“ on the paperwork didn’t mean that I actually had a vehicle confirmed. She gave no additional information, and just kept repeating that. It was super frustrating and upsetting since I had a three day move planned. The van I rented for two days was fantastic. The truck I rented on the third day definitely needs some sort of maintenance but it has 121,000 miles on it so that is not surprising. Overall, super happy with the friendly helpful lady, and the van, not happy about the unhelpful lady and the truck that made all kinds of loud noises. Also, I was really upset after speaking to the unhelpful lady, so I called a local number that seems to manage where the vehicles will be at. The person I spoke there to was super helpful and she told me that both of my vehicles were indeed confirmed to pick up at this location and I didn’t need to worry about it.

I'm not lying when I say that these people are the best people that you can possibly rent from in Pittsburgh. They're the nicest most down-earth sweet people you could ever meet. I've never been to a U-Haul before that has free boxes because other people have donated them or a donation area of just things I've seen a piano there that somebody donated that wasn't auctioned off or anything that you could just oh I like a piano and I want that piano you could take it. I know that's kind of a wild story but to be honest they are the best part of what Pittsburgh is and I hope that you would consider renting from them. This is not a pain advertisement at all. They're just great people!

I added an extra lock on my door somebody took it off. They got into my storage area but the U-Haul lock was still on there and my stereo is missing and I haven’t had time to report it and I went to them the supervisor there and told him about it and he act like oh it didn’t happen. I know he had a negative attitude about it and I was I was so upset that I moved out the very next week.

The unit was just for my sons stuff while away from RMU. The facility is extremely convenient and the young lady who checked me also made sure to take care of closing out the rental unit once I came back with the van. Great secure facility. Clean, quiet, and convenient. Optional sizes of storage rooms, carts available inside door to transport items to your storage locker. Loading dock for convenience. Got a promotional free month. Very helpful staff. Green area to recycle/reuse boxes and/or stuff.

The storage is not secured. Open for anyone to walk into the facility 24/7. Did not need to swipe access card to get into building, on elevator, or on second floor at 9p at night. Plus, they have big rat traps in the storage units.

Place was great only issue is that if you don't have a truck the loading dock is a hinderance. The elevator is a hit or miss if it decides to operate. Have to slam 2 or 3 times.
