Was given a car tow with a bad strap at first so had to disconnect, etc., but ultimately we got it all straight. Recommend they review their equipment periodically to ensure it's rent-able first.

These people are great. I rented over $15,000 worth of rentals last year from this same location which was almost 6 months of continuous use and not once did I ever have any problems. Most of the trucks I rented were less than 10k miles and they were always in pristine condition. April, the manager of this location, is a hands on and committed manager who will stop at nothing to make sure her customers have everything they need for a successful rental. I can't thank these guys enough, highly recommend.

I was unable to lift the toung of the 6 x 12 trailer I rented. They should be equipted with a trailer jack.

I have rented a truck from this location. 4 times in a years time to be exact. This last time I felt as if I was going to still the truck. I went 7.4 miles and they wanted me to fill it back up, never has that happen. And if UHaul wants a person to put gas in than put your store next to a gas store. The closest gas station is 2 miles any which will still not be full. I will never use UHAUL again. Thank You Jennifer Dampier

The pricing is deceiving. 3 hours for $100 I could have went else where and rented an actual pick up for the whole day for that price.

The lights were flickering on my way home to load up. I figured it was a loose connection! Got home in dark and hooked it up to the vehicle we were using to go to Texas. No lights! Called u hall and couldn’t figure it out. After an hour and a half I discovered a white wire hanging under the tongue! Found a connection and taped it to it. Lights! I hadn’t noticed in my rush it being late and dark and rain approaching that he said same contract as before that he tacked on $40 for insurance! I had said no when I reserved it, it’s on the contract! But in my rush he added it! Then when I got here and quickly unloaded it and returned it within a day and a half. I felt like I should not have to pay for 4 days! If I kept it for 4 days you couldn’t rent it out, but now you can. Doesn’t seem right or fair!!

Mileage gauge wasn't working. No ramp. Was old and beat up. Had scratches and had marks that were not marked with the x. Fuel gauge was not correct. Went at most 6 miles round trip for nothing. Will not rent at that location again.

I was given a truck without a ramp and a latch that didn’t close all the way. I was not told or aware of these things until I was packing the truck. This was the first time renting and driving a uhaul on my own so I was not aware that there was something wrong at first. I was also told that I had the truck back by 6:30P.m. even though I picked it up at 11:00a.m. The only reason I knew otherwise was because a previous uhaul employee informed I have 24 hours and pointed out that I indeed should have had a ramp and a working latch. This was all very disappointing and I felt I was kind of being taken advantage of.

personnel had me waiting while they were on the phone about a stolen van and when someone finally helped me they started the process all over even after I told them I had given all this information already with my reservation after asking them to put in my reservation number they finally realized. took to long to pick up trailer after making a prior reservation. unorganized!!

Equipment was fine, but the service was horrible. My equipment was returned on time, and never received in, so my credit card was charged for my deposit for unreturned, and it took 3 days and 4 phone calls to get the problem corrected. Was promised calls from store general manager, and never received one. Refund is still not on my card 4 days later. I am needing a truck within the next month to bring things from PA to Florida, and am probably going to go with another company.

I have no negative comments. The staff were friendly, and very helpful. They brought the U-Haul to the front, had it running, and went over everything so I was not blind sided.

I had a reservation I even expressed checked in prior to my appt. A man pulled up did not have a truck reserved but left with a truck before I did. I was seen by 1 representative him by another. It took 20 minutes to get the keys and drive off. Additionally returning the vehicle was just as long.

They said we could bring the truck back at 6:45 and we got there early just after 6:30, but a lady came out and said that we would have to do an after hours self check in even though they were still open until 7. It was lazy and unprofessional on their part. Additionally when we called to change our drop off time they were happy to change it and never mentioned any extra charges. After drop off, we received a bill for not one extra day, but two.

I eventually dropped off the trailer at the Ft. Walton Beach location. They were quite busy but friendly and timely. I initially tried to drop the trailer off at the Destin, FL location on Mountain Drive. I found out that they do not accept trailers but while telling me this, the staff member was rude and not the type of representative I would want representing my company. She was too busy trying to eat at 11:15 am and could have cared less about anything other than feeding her face. The local manager for UHAUL should be aware of this and take measures to assure she no longer has anything to do with UHAUL. It's a good thing I had a good experience picking up in Kansas City and dropping off in FWB or I could not recommend UHAUL for any reason.

I had a great experience. When I got there mark acknowledged me and told us he would be right with us as he had a customer. When he got to us he explained everything and made sure we understood everything. He went got the truck and went over everything again. Great employee.

They made a mistake and put my name and phone number on another persons contract. I received multiple phone calls accusing me of not returning a 26 ft truck that I did not rent. The first regional manager I spoke with said the error was corrected and I wont hear from them again. Well, next day I got another harassing phone call about the truck. My son had returned the trailer 2 days earlier in Charleston just like our contract stated.

The hitch installation went flawlessly; unfortunately, when your employee went to hook up the trailer to my car he couldn't find the wiring harness--the harness you guys had JUST INSTALLED. Also, the company's internet went down so we had to execute the rental on my own personal computer!

The inside of the trailer was full of dirt and grease. I had to clean all of my belongings after reaching my destination. Also, the attitude of the clerk who handled my case was unfriendly at best and better classified as nasty. I would never use this location again.

The manager was rude and unprofessional. I had to pick up my auto transport here because the location that rented me the truck didn't have one. She attached the auto transport and left the truck running where it blocked anyone leaving the lot so I had to rush out. I didn't get a chance to look at the transport and record any prior damage. She also pushed me to have the first location help me load my vehicle, even though her location was paid for the auto transport rental and was responsible for anything related to it.

Checking back in they didnt enter it to system. I received emails stating I had not returned equipment. When i call number provided i got the customer service center not the recovery center and that person was no help. Just told me to call back later when recovery was open. Put the correct number in your emails.

Don't understand my latest bill..I just used same size truck last month and went much further and charged less.. don't understand this billing

Truck was very clean. Issues I had: 1. Ignition switch was faulty. The defect would not allow the truck to be started without multiple attempts of turning the key. Key would lockup. 2. The rear door hatch lock would not engage in a locked position, which prevented the door from being locked. Door could have opened at any time during the truck operation. This was a major safety and security concern. Both items were known by store management but were not revealed to me at time of checkout. At time of return of truck, Management said that it was U-Haul policy to wait until multiple items were accumulated before repairs were performed. If this is true, it is a TERRIBLE and unacceptable policy to a customer. Both items could have had disastrous consequences. This is not the first time a U-Haul store management was negligent in securing a rental with me. A previous issue resulted in a lawsuit between U-Haul and my auto insurance carrier, GEICO, which resulted in a financial loss to U-Haul. This will be my last rental from U-Haul.

Never use the internet to order materials and pay for them. Since you have to pay in the store as well you get double charged and the only way to get a refund is to travel back to the facility.

Storage unit rented was in disrepair. Door to the unit jammed and came off the rails many times. When I went to empty the unit and let the staff know. Employees were vaping and did nothing. Typical!
