The young man who handled my return was friendly and got me out quickly. I honestly didn't even go inside so not sure if it was clean and inviting. There were several issues with the rental and I think U-Haul can do much better honestly.

All was good. Clean truck. Clean facility nice employees. I drove from Las Vegas on Boulder Highway all the way to Ventura County in California truck ran great no issues would recommend U-Haul for anyone traveling long distance or even in town.

The app to return was horrible. It couldn’t find my info it wouldn’t let me sign in. Then tried to chat and no reply. Overall app sucks for returns after hours. Would’ve been charged if I couldn’t get into my account in a browser. Took 30 mins for something that should’ve taken 10

Made me return truck to the same location. I picked it up from even though there were several locations closer to me, and I expressed not having the gas to bring back to original location. I rented it the truck however I still had to.

Location was not the original place I wanted to pick up from. I had no control and U-Haul selected another location. So instead of being next to the house where I was moving More or les 5 minutes. I now had to take and Uber and spend money to get there making it a 25 minute drive.

The employee stole my Deposit money of a $100.00 in cash and I paid on my credit card in the amount of $252.00 his name is Johann H. I came in on Saturday morning around 7:07 am with my husband. And pick up my UHaul and was told that I will get my deposit back when I return the UHaul in Victorville California. Well Mr Johann never added my deposit on my receipt and it looks like I never gave a deposit when my husband was standing there with me. I want to file a complaint on Johann H because he stole my $100.00 dollars. I call corporate office to make a complaint and get my deposit back which he stole from me. I’m very disappointed and very upset about this matter that should not have happened. I want my deposit cash back ASAP. My cell number is 442-280-5096. I ask them to check there camera for this day 8-24-2024 between 7:15 am through 8:00 am please help me get my deposit back. Stephanie Colbert

The personnel at the drop off location were already outside and welcomed me immediately. I had a tow dolly to drop first, then unload the truck. By the time I was done, they were closed, however the 24 hour night drop was easy and simple with room for me to park it. Very well lit at night, and short term customer parking was convenient. Thank you to both locations for making it so easy for me. It was a great experience.

Trailer had a tire that was wearing the wear indicators. I told the employee that checked it in and he did not sound concerned at all. Also tried to return a set of straps that were supposed to make lifting easy. They were useless and a total scam but they wouldn't allow the return because they'd been opened. How would I know if they work or not without opening them? These people are morons and I will NEVER use this scam location again! Stay FAR away!!!

The guy who took the truck in was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and I’m new to Las Vegas but there was a day worker on your property in a chair asleep at 8 am! This was so unprofessional and sort of scary to see. If he’s looking for work why was he asleep on your property, and it’s the first thing you see when you pull into the establishment. This is why I would not recommend and why it was not at all inviting. Thank you

All good , only the lady in the parking lot , she is a little rude , it's the first time I rent a truck and I don't know the location , I parked my own car and the lady yelled at me not to park there , as if I knew the place , maybe it's because she works under the sun , but all good with everything else.

The counter person Cecili was very rude and condescending. When I asked why she was being so rude she said her district manager is responsible for how she behaves with customers. I fully intend on filing a formal complaint for racial discrimination and the involve the media as to the racism that is being condoned and promoted at this establishment.

Quick and easy rental

The gentleman at the counter in the marines hat was exceptionally rude to the customer before me😞 had I not already paid I would have left! He embarrassed the gentleman and was downright nasty for zero reason, even raising his voice, not at all trying to maintain a level of professionalism. The kid who was to meet me at the front to bring me the truck to over 15 minutes and he was the only one there (Cody I think his name was) - said he never heard the gentleman call him over the radio • mind you it’s 113 in Las Vegas and after witnessing the way the man at the counter treats customers I wasn’t going back in The younger gentleman who checked the truck back in was in a hurry because “it was his lunch break time” so he’d “check the back of the truck later when he got back”. The truck was clean and did the job I needed.

Change the person outside that hooked up our trailer on 7/13/2024 about 1 30 p m. Everyone was nice accept him. We tried our best talking with him and cheering him up but he would not respond didn’t even talk back to us just ignored us and I might add he had only one speed very slow. I even asked him don’t you like your job. He just looked at me. Myself and my son in law said if that guy worked this slow and with this altitude I’d fire him so fast. He hurts the business.

The storage rooms could use lights with timers inside because if you take to long the hall light times out and it dark and hard to see . But other then that everything is was cool.

The tow hitch would not install the normal way the hitch had to be turned upside down. Now the hitch and trailer are much closer to the ground. Once i start the trip the chains from the hitch start dragging on the ground and sparkling once informed by other drivers I pulled over and installed zip ties, later the chain from the hitch broke I used zip ties again, overall not a great trip, I found out later that was not the proper way to install a hitch, I was very grateful I made it to my destination!!!

I've had a small storage unit @ U-Haul, since late 2,019. It was unfortunate, like an apartment rental, U-Haul, raised its prices, once a year or less; since late 2,019. Otherwise, I felt my belongings were safe and secure on Second floor. On Second floor, my unit was above, similar to a Linen Closet. Keyed entry; security access. Good customer service. Courteous employees. Professional.

U-Haul has great storage facilities that are well maintained and very secure. They often offer specials which allow me to better budget for moving and storage. The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable about suggesting the right size storage unit for your belongings. U-Haul will definitely remain my #1 choice for moving and storage!

When I rented a 6X12 trailer, the trailer came off my truck while on the freeway. Yoor individual never tightened the tongue down. Then 2 days later, I was given attitude by the woman that works there. I never closed this storage, it was closed by the management at the facility. Worse UHAUL ever

Johann was extremely helpful and got me/ my business taken care of quickly and effectively. I got into my storage unit that same day, rented a truck, and moved in. Locked outta my storage for 2 months even though it was paid and that was under an assumption they had no proof of and then they auctioned off my storage I'm currently in the process of litigating with a lawyer to further investigate these felonious charges and the unlawful auction of my property due to an assumption by General management of U-Haul staff and employees and I would like to state that I just got this message on the 17th and they scheduled me for a move out date on the 16th that's very illegal and I'm going to prosecute by the extent of the law that's f****** b******* and due to the fact that they currently acted as if they never had this phone number I'm suing them

I was told to expect a call from the manager today, but I'm not holding my breath. I showed up later than expected, so I was unable to chat with anyone in the office, but it was still during access hours. Not a problem, I believed, as my email clearly said that my free lock had been left in my unlocked unit. This was a lie. After figuring out the check-in process that required two separate card readers (why?) using the access code from the email, I walked in and found my unit still locked. This is where bad turned horrific. I called the managers number multiple times (using multiple phones) for self service help. The phone was simply off, it went straight to voicemail every time. Calling customer service, I asked if it was within my rights to use bolt cutters to gain access. They said no. I even offered to pay for the lock. I had driven hours from home and planned to return home in the late evening. As hotels were in high demand due to a conference, my options were another full day of driving the following day, or wait until the morning. The phone representatives basically told me "too bad, try tomorrow." Desperate, I tried sleeping in the car. If you have the ability, please look at the tape of the parking lot. We were chased out of there by a man who tried breaking into the car repeatedly and kept yelling at us. He also tried to break in to every truck in the parking lot, banging on them and causing a ruckus. Given the violence often shown by police, I felt that my best bet was to take my husband and belongings and park overnight somewhere safer. The person working in the office the following morning listened to this story, was sympathetic, and helped us promptly. Sadly, she was unable to provide us with a good explanation for why our unit wasn't ready, nor any way to make this experience less terrible. She said that she took note and promised to pass it to the manager.

The entire staff was professional and friendly. When I was moving my stuff out I didn’t know if I was suppose to leave the lock and key somewhere so I went inside to check. There was a lady at the counter and she appeared very irate. It seemed as though there was a mix up with the ladies rental at another uhaul place and they sent here to this location. Ronda handle that lady so well I was very impressed. She stayed professional and polite the entire time. Ronda needs a bonus or raise after dealing with that lady!

My experience using U-Haul spreads to about 40-50 years. 20+ years in Las Vegas and at this location, 5316 Boulder Hwy, Las Vegas, NV. I have also used other U-Haul and other non-U-Haul storage facilities, in Nevada and other states. U-Haul is NOT without problems. Problems do occur during normal business transactions. In fact, many. The important thing is, that U-Haul or at least all of the locations I have dealt with, especially 5316 Boulder Highway ALWAYS solved any problems to a satisfactory conclusion before the end of the day. There are many things I do NOT like at U-Haul; they are mostly at corporate level. At the end of the day, U-Haul is a One-stop-provides-all-in-moving-and-storage-needs. I will continue doing business with U-Haul as long as the safety, satisfaction, customer service, and convenience continues.
