I got charged for gas and cleaning and neither were needed because both were done. The final receipt said they had to add 14 gals of gas to the truck which weren't true because we added 16.5 gals back into the truck which put it well over what it had when we originally got it. Then the worker wouldn't admit that they had charged the wrong person for the wrong truck. All she would say is I took care of those charges. What a joke! No apologies, no nothing!Dionne B.

The only thing I can possibly see as an issue, and I have seen this before a few times over the years, and that is...only one thing. Add a couple of people to help us be able to pick up our vehicle. Other than that, all of the that work there were very helpful and suddenly looked like an auctioneer no, extremely and courteous help as I am disabled. I enjoy my interactions when I need to pick up a prescription. I would say at least Hi to me from any and everywhere. I guess they know me and I truly make me feel so welcome, I honestly want to take a large meal for 20. I would quickly grab what I wanted and place it on top of the washing machine.. I used this service every month for personal and business. The staff and the manager are true professional. They are understanding in customer relationships. I have been running late and they have always managed to work with me to achieve my goals. With the high cost of car rentals fees UHaul continues to be the best choice. I have one request please provide us with trucks that seat four. Sometimes I need to take my kids and I can't the current trucks or I have business partners that need to ride with me to different locations and sites where I need a truck that seats four. This location continues to provide great services at affordable prices I get great at a great price with a great staff.henrien M.
The truck I rented was dirty. The only thing the attendant cleaned was the windshield and the side mirrors. The truck's gas was below the empty line, and the furniture dolly I requested over a month ago was not available. However, staff was friendly and helpful in hooking the car tow dolly to the truck. The counter service was amazing! The gentleman who helped me was polite, very friendly, and very easy to chit chat with while the contract and everything was being generated. However I think that it's very important the counter people say to the renters that if they are dropping off after hours, it's a $20 charge. I could have just kept the pickup truck another night for the same price. I understand it's all written in the contract but let's be real. No one sits and reads the contract. So maybe just a verbal acknowledgment from the employees about that? So the renters are aware up front. Amazing service in person! The website however? Complete nightmare. Even the employees could not get the website to work when I was trying to pick up the rental. Maybe work on that a little bit.Jennifer R.

Inconsistent messaging confuses and annoys the customer. If the truck bay is dirty on pickup, it is not right to burden the customer with sweeping it. The whole crew was super great despite being really busy, Christopher did an amazing job adding a trailer hitch and then getting me set up with a trailer. This was all last minute due to a miscalculation on how much stuff we had to move to our new apartment. Johann moved my reservation from a different location to this location so I didn't have to drive to another after getting the hitch. One of the best customer experiences I've had in a long time. Horrible customer service. Reserves a 10foot truck weeks in advance. When we went to pick it up they had none and put us in a 15foot which we did not want. Made comments that we were getting it at the 10foot price and I explained if I wanted a 15foot I would have reserved it. Lock was stuck. Was promised a credit for mileage for needing to return to location to remove lock. At $1.09 per mile, small credit should have been granted as told. Originally reserved for 24 hours, pick up location changed by UHAUL AND contract changed to 7 hours without consent. Not happy.Lennor S.

My experience with this is great. But I'm wondering why there is no reward program for returning customers. Most people use your truck only to move. I use your trucks every month. I leave more gas than I have to so the staff can use the truck. Sometimes I can't tip so I leave extra gas. The company doesn't recognize this gesture as a worthy act. The founder death happened on October 4th. This year to honor the founder of U-Haul why not start a rewards program for returning customers who use trucks every month. This will create a big boost for U-Haul Your founder was killed in Las Vegas and to honor this man who gave us the greatest service known to the American family--moving truck. This is the best thing your company can do. Give back to the people. You are an American icon. Prove to me you deserve that to be the icon of American Moving culture. You can't watch a movie or tv show that wasn't used a U-Haul truck. I know because I teach film studies. Now do something and take care of your people GM need days off because it helps build a strong support staff if the GM is not able to work 6 days a week. I go to other sites and the GM's work very hard to provide the best service. I always go to the GM and introduce myself as a local business person who expects good service for my business which I do get from U-Haul. The rental service I use for transportation needs.henrien M.

I was told to expect a call from the manager today, but I'm not holding my breath. I showed up later than expected, so I was unable to chat with anyone in the office, but it was still during access hours. Not a problem, I believed, as my email clearly said that my free lock had been left in my unlocked unit. This was a lie. After figuring out the check-in process that required two separate card readers (why?) using the access code from the email, I walked in and found my unit still locked. This is where bad turned horrific. I called the managers number multiple times (using multiple phones) for self service help. The phone was simply off, it went straight to voicemail every time. Calling customer service, I asked if it was within my rights to use bolt cutters to gain access. They said no. I even offered to pay for the lock. I had driven hours from home and planned to return home in the late evening. As hotels were in high demand due to a conference, my options were another full day of driving the following day, or wait until the morning. The phone representatives basically told me "too bad, try tomorrow." Desperate, I tried sleeping in the car. If you have the ability, please look at the tape of the parking lot. We were chased out of there by a man who tried breaking into the car repeatedly and kept yelling at us. He also tried to break in to every truck in the parking lot, banging on them and causing a ruckus. Given the violence often shown by police, I felt that my best bet was to take my husband and belongings and park overnight somewhere safer. The person working in the office the following morning listened to this story, was sympathetic, and helped us promptly. Sadly, she was unable to provide us with a good explanation for why our unit wasn't ready, nor any way to make this experience less terrible. The entire staff was professional and friendly. When I was moving my stuff out I didn’t know if I was suppose to leave the lock and key somewhere so I went inside to check. There was a lady at the counter and she appeared very irate. It seemed as though there was a mix up with the ladies rental at another uhaul place and they sent here to this location. My experience using U-Haul spreads to about 40-50 years. 20+ years in Las Vegas and at this location, 5316 Boulder Hwy, Las Vegas, NV. I have also used other U-Haul and other non-U-Haul storage facilities, in Nevada and other states. U-Haul is NOT without problems. Problems do occur during normal business transactions. In fact, many. The important thing is, that U-Haul or at least all of the locations I have dealt with, especially 5316 Boulder Highway ALWAYS solved any problems to a satisfactory conclusion before the end of the day. There are many things I do NOT like at U-Haul; they are mostly at corporate level. At the end of the day, U-Haul is a One-stop-provides-all-in-moving-and-storage-needs. I moved all my things out and moved back out of town, I have placed my lock back on the unit by mistake. Had told the facility I had done so and that i had cleared the unit out, but they continued to charge me for the unit because of the lock being still on there.
