Absolutely nothing. From the time you walk through the door it doesn't matter whether it's 7:30 a.m., or 5:30 pm your staff behind the counter are kind, knowledgable and caring. Not argue with your CUSTOMER about something that the GENERAL MANAGER told them.
U haul has an absolutely unusable web site for pre-registering for rental. The upload for the driver's license did not work even at Gig speed. But what is even worse is the after hours check-in. To expect a costumer to go through those things that should not be our responsibility (or face a $20.00 fee) is absolutely ridiculous . It is cold late at night and the Wifi signal is poor and the app is very cumbersome. I don't think I will be using U Haul again for an after hours drop off

Thss Place made a whole bunch of errors on my reservations and I had lost out how to get a different storage and go an extra 20 miles out of my way I messed my whole day up very upset with this location
Did not like the fact that i need to extend my rental and you automatically charge my card. I wanted to pay the difference in cash. Due to the charge you overdrafted my account. An now i have over draft charges. NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

For renters, accuracy is very important especially when you have to pay for something that was not recorded correctly. The problem I encountered was the gas was not recorded correctly and that there were dents/scratches that were not recorded also. The App is kind of intimidating to use for first-time users like myself, maybe if they could send the app to renters before they pick up their U-haul. They could get familiar with it so it would be easier to use. For the above reasons, I rate my experience a 2. Customer service I rate 5 stars.
Customer representative at the counter should not put customers on hold to order breakfast. They should also be well aware of the rental equipment the customer is in need of before leaving the store. The young lady who received the van when we returned was a delightful young lady. Thanks.
I will never rent a truck from this company or location and here is why. I rent it yesterday 1/16/21 and no one explained me how to do the checkout online so after I dropped it off I try to do the checkout and it was asking for the pic but I already look the truck and put the key on the box so I couldn't take the pics but my contract expires on 1/17/21 at 7:00 am so I went there before that trying to get help and Leslie and Fred told me that it was to late because they already did the checkout so I explained them that my contract ends at 7:00 am and they still over charged my card whiteout helping me when my contract wasn't due yet so how I will get charge for something that is not even due???
The person that took the truck in for returns was rude and with 4 or 5 people working there it took almost 15 minutes to return the truck one worker walked right by me one was out in the back room one was washing the floor

I wanted to add another driver after I picked up the truck and was told that I could drop in at any franchise. When I did stop with my friend at another in Plainville, CT franchise they said they could not add the driver and the Capitol Avenue franchise could not be contacted.

Needed moving truck walked in was greeted and staff was very professional and friendly. Rental was a breeze in and out with ease, and also detail everything for me so I was able to understand exactly what I was being charged for no surprise hidden fees. To all staff who made my moved a stressed free and easy. Thank you, thank you would highly recommend.
It would be nice to be able to guarantee the pick up location and time. It was unfortunate to have to pick up a trailer in Hartford (a busy city) instead of a suburban town that would have been easier to drive out of that I had made the reservation for. I also made the pick up time for 10am and it wasn't available until 3pm, even worse for having to pick it up in the city.
The interior of the truck smelled like cat pee, when I mentioned this at return the person receiving the equipment didn't seem to validate my concern. The staffs interaction with customers needs improvement,as a person in customer service I highly recommend some training on customer relation skills as in all business that sells and provides services customers are paramount.
I didn't receive what I had reserved,paid the same .i had reserved a 18 they gave me a 15 also reserved a dolly didn't have one when I went to pick up and it wasn't it at the location the customer service rep told me I had to pick up.she told me West Hartford I picked up at capital ave.A Big Inconvenience😞
Several employees did not have masks pulled up over mouth and nose. They had mask pulled down on chin. Other than that all were efficient, friendly and helpful

Occasionally the line inside moves a bit slowly - often due to people who haven't reserved equipment or something. If that could be improved it would be awesome. The team working there do a great job keeping the equipment clean, are friendly and helpful. I've been there three times in the past month for different things and all three experiences were very good.
Just show where the haul button is in the truck. Otherwise, excellent U-Haul experience with this store.
The truck smelled like cigarette smoke, an issue for people with allergies. Maybe start fining renters for smoking in the truck. Or, offer smoke free options for rentals. The back wall in the van of the truck had brown smears all over it. Is that area not included in the cleaning process?

My only issue was when I arrived at 11am there was only 1 staff person there and it took about 40 min to get help. Some people came after me, saw the line and left. The staff person was doing the best he could and he did a good job, but I feel the general manager should have been notified of staff shortage, and/or the GM should have came and helped his staff. Another staff person did show up right before I left.

The representative does seem to know what she was doing to many mistakes costing me time and money.
Not enough employee people to handle demand. I was over 45 minutes late getting my equipment so I missed a critical schedule (picking up the car being transported on the same day). My reservation was for 24 hours but missing the pick up schedule meant I needed another 4 hours. Since I arrived less than 5 minutes passed closing time, I was charged for a second day.This is not right. I have written a complaint to request a refund for the second day and have not heard back yet.

I went in and reserved a car dolly Gave my credit card number and everything! Showed with my mechanic and his truck to find they rented it to someone else! I then reserved the dolly for the next day showed up with my mechanic again and they hooked it to the truck to find out the tail lights on the trailer didn't work so we couldn't take it! I called corporate they put the blame on the location and said the GM would contact me which they never did! I spent three times what the dolly cost to my mechanic for going out of his way! They didn't even offer a discount or refund! Probably the worst customer service as well I was standing waiting to be helped while two people sat texting on cell phones for almost an hour! While one person was actually working! I will never visit this location again and I'm still waiting on that call from the GM which was promised almost a week ago! I might call the corporate number again real soon just because of the incompetence and lack of customer service! I'm sure the CEO of the company would be real pleased to see this!

There were only a few people in the store, but it took a LONG time to get to me (despite having paid online and having a reservation time). Once I was helped, the help was great and effective.
Nothing to improve. Madeline provided outstanding service. She looked into all details and make sure I received all equipments I need. I will certainly recommend this location to friends/family and other potential customers.

People are dumping their furniture in front of the main access way. Not only does it make it inconvenient but it also make the storage look like a local dump. Your staff do a great job making it clean but that recycling idea that you guys got have to go because it simply turned into the local dump. 95% of the things that the people left is straight up GARBAGE that can not be salvage. Fix this problem immediately. Your staff do a great job of keeping the place clean.
I lost all my belongings because the unit was infested by rats and roaches and I never got my insurance back for the unit after I paid for insurance. I lost years of stuff including my kids baby blankets. I was just so unhappy with the out come of everything.

Everything was great. The young lady behind the counter, the short dark skin one was a great help. If it wasn't for the mice getting all in over your stuff you would have a A-1 shop.

I was [leased with my experience with U-Haul Storage facility..
I saw rat’s dropping on my belongings. I had always paid on time, never missed payments but when I went to my storage unit I saw that they had put a second lock on my unit denying me access.
A little dark inside. I had to find a second unit with higher ceilings for some tall items. There’s not enough parking space for customers. Staff were excellent.
Rodents headquarters i lost 2 bins there. Never again will i use their storage or recommend it anyone unless they want their good damaged by rodents.
Staff friendly. Some problems with manager(s) grasp of business practices but ended on a good note.

The bathroom isn't always unlocked. Probably the friendliest staff of anywhere that I've been.

Items had paint chips and white paint spray drops all over it as it seemed they painted above and around unit. Damage to anything that was not in box. Bins covered with paint.
