MARIA MWe had a very bad experience with picking up my truck had to change trucks 4 times which took about an hour and a half not to mention it pushed my time into rush hour traffic…this should be confirmed via in store cameras as well as Sadia the manager also more with my Sunday drop off to be brief I rented a storage space only to get to the gate and my entry card wasn’t working I went back to the office twice and (Moe) let me in but forgot to show mention how I get into my space building once (BJ or DJ) assisted me with that… now I discovered a lock on my unit so I go back to the office to get it removed overall my experience was not pleasant and very costly to my time and my hired help. I hope to hear from someone very soon to ensure me that this is not and won’t ever be the norm for U-haul. Sincerely Redrick Rayborn

DOUGLAS WBooked our van nine days in advance. Showed up on time to pick it up and the location we booked did not have a van. Had to drive to a further location to get the correct vehicle. No reimbursement for the additional miles required to get to the further location. Bad business practices.

Oleksii OWhile the attendant was both proficient and friendly, the pickup trucks on the lot were not working, I had to settle for a small box truck. The truck I was first assigned to was not there. The truck I was then assigned to was difficult for me (an old man of 87 )to get into. I found it was hard to drive with a very rough ride. I wish that I could have had a pickup or a van.

Carol P | Overall ExperienceUsed Clairmont location because NE Expressway@Shallowford was out of equipment. Normally, the equipment is well maintained and team members hook everything up. At Clairmont, there was only one female in the office, so I had to hook everything up myself. Then when using the equipment discovered that the ratchet straps barely worked. The ratchets should be replaced as this is unsafe.

Lary BI have used this location several times. Usually service is first rate. The most recent rental reservation, rental and pickup was the same. However, yesterday's vehicle return was well below the usual experience. The young female agent, there by herself at 3:30 PM was extremely unpleasant, overcharged me for fuel, refused to discuss the overcharge, printed the receipt, handed it to me, turned and walked away. I called customer service after getting back to my car. I had driven the U-Haul vehicle only 19 miles. Atlanta Friday rush hour made it difficult to add fuel so I had decided to just pay the contract fuel charge. The return agent added $24 for fuel, and was highly discourteous about it. She refused to admit that the fuel charge that she had added seemed excessive and could be a mistake. She left me alone sitting at the counter and walked out of the building. The customer service rep on the phone, Ashley, however was completely the opposite. She looked up the facts about my rental and return on the computer, put me on hold and issued a refund for $21. She was cheerful and apologetic. Ashley is a credit to U-Haul. This on-site returns agent however seems to resent her job, should get remedial training and be told to improve her attitude. If you find this comment annoying, I am merely responding to your invitation to suggest "what you can do to improve for the next customer." Thanks.

I also had a storage room that I used for about 16 years and never had an issue with my property. Only downside was they constantly raised their rates which ultimately encourage me to finally recover my property and close the account. Nothing but positives with the location except the rates.

GENNIE JAlthough I didn't try to access my unit frequently, when I did try to get in, one or both gates were broken about half the time (standing partly open). I was also concerned about the number of times I saw police present at the facility. That doesn't scream "safe" to me.
KC B | Overall ExperienceRep was helping another employee receive their Uhaul certification while I waited at the counter. Didn't stop to help me. Took her sweet time. When they finally helped me, they were moving so slow to scan my items (blankets, ratchet straps, etc). I almost put everything back, but I needed it. Told me the keys were in the truck, they were not. When I went back into the building for the keys, she argued with me and then turned around, found the keys on the wall and said "I really need to go home". Absolutely no sense of urgency to help a customer. The slowest customer service. These people don't want to be here and it's obvious. Also, no one mentioned that the moving blankets HAD to be returned. I thought I PURCHASED them, but that wasn't the case. Your staff needs better training and not doing their "Uhaul certification" at the front counter while customers are trying to rent trucks to get their stuff done. I didn't have all day. The process was way too long considering they make you reserve online, etc. It should be a quick process.

TITUS LANSWER THE PHONE, it was a hassle to get anybody on the phone. I kept being transferred from one person to the next. Now when you get to the location it’s ok cause they have to speak to you. But if you’re trying to get someone on the line it’s a pain in the but. The two young women who worked there was nice but they gotta do better with picking up the phone.

But then when I went to turn in my equipment the store said they couldn’t find it since they hadn’t updated my account to show that they had given me a different trailer than the one they assigned to me.
DAVID CI've been a UHaul customer for over 20 years, renting trucks and storage rooms in multiple states. This has by far been the best customer service I've ever received from UHaul associates. Sadia and Aqueelah at this Clairmont Rd location absolutely exceeded my expectations. They genuinely care that their customers have a great experience, and will work diligently to help solve any problems that may occur.

Daniel A | Overall ExperienceThis facility was great I ended up there because Piedmont facility gave my reservation away 5/23 the manager said it was on a first come first serve basis, though I reserved weeks in advance and called twice to confirm I did that because I was coming from out of town… Piedmont was conveniently located across the street from my apartment and didn’t care that I had to pay extra to the movers to take me way further than planned, when I was told it was given away I then had to ask them to help me find another UhAul because i was not familiar with the area. This UhAul though very nice I ended up paying more because the size i reserved was not available. So beware because your reservation could be given away.

They made me feel like an inconvenience for simply asking questions about their storage units and hitches. They couldn’t answer questions about the products hanging on their shelves, which is fine because they don’t know what they don’t know, but they didn’t make an effort to help me figure out what I needed. They also spoke poorly about another customer that they had just assisted after the person walked out of the store while I was standing right in front of them, which was unprofessional. Could tell they did not want to be there but I also didn’t make them take that job so I wish staff were kinder and more helpful.

Also that location booked me for a unit which was already rented . I can't wait to hear what cooperate has to say and what will be done to compensate for all the times they dropped the ball concerning me and my use of their services,or lack there of...

The facility itself - has a ton of work - I was EXTREMELY surprised after 1 full year of renting from this facility (1 year and 7 months) the elevator in Building A is still an ongoing issue. It is such a HUGE fire hazard and safety concern. The first move in date 6/2021. This type of maintenance issue is not acceptable to lingered for so long. My unit was never lit - the halls were always clean. Thank you.
