Tiffaney R.The AC did not work in my U-haul truck. The driver's side window was getting caught on the rubber flashing, which made it difficult for the window to go down. The U-haul app would not accept the odometer reading, even after 20 attempts. The app is a great way to modernize the experience, but it needs improvements and thus the lag in the ability to complete the experience completely without needing assistance from a team member. I wish there was a cleaning wipe provided with each new user to wipe down the steering wheel and commonly touched items.

Paul L.I worked in rental and I saw that it was a fleet of Uhals that couId of been rented to us at first, I thought I had reservations the night before for that morning but it was a glitch in the system and they told us that they didn't have any when it was a parking lot full and they prob would not have any for the remainder of the day, so We went online and they let me book 1 so we had To wait and additional 2 hours for the same trucks that was on the lot to still be there, by the time they rented it to me the back was full of sheets and A dolly in which they told me they didn't have a dolly either and didn't do a walk around on the vehicle to check for damages.
VICTORIA A.Vehicle had the Tire Monitor light on the whole time. I put 15 miles on it and when returning it filled it with 5.13 gallons of gas! Clearly the previous use didn't fill the tank and I got stuck with the bill. The front desk person said she couldn't refund me the gas money.

Danielle G.My original reservation location was switched and I didn't receive a call or voicemail stating I would be picking up from the location above. I later checked my email and saw I received an email stating the location had changed. There was a 30min difference in-between locations, which made me late for picking up the truckl. The staff members were very nice and understanding. It was just an inconvenience that nobody contacted me via telephone to let me know my location had changed. My email isn't always checked, especially when I'm busy. So I would definitely suggest for whoever is changing the reservation to give the customer a courtesy call to let them know. In turn, I went over my mileage because the original location was only a few miles from my home, while the updated location was much further. So for the inconvenience I was late for my pickup, pickup location was much further than original which added more mileage, and as a result I had to pay for going over mileage.

However, I spent 13 to 15 minutes on hold on two occasions waiting for help with online instructions that were unclear to me, although I often spend much of my workday reviewing and writing content for websites. To be clear, my complaint is about the system not the people.

My first reservation was for Saturday, February 26, 2022, apparently Uhaul had a system outage which really inconvenienced me for both truck and storage. My second reservation Monday, February 28, I arrive again Rob/Rod is there and I faced with the same drama, his nonchalant attitude for my inconvenience, the 15inch truck requested was not available and for this I get no explanation I than ask for alternate truck which he stated all trucks had reservations but than he followed up with the smallest truck Uhaul have to offer, causing me to have to make multiple trips.

So the manager never took it off like he said he would. Then he ended up charging me $100 for a missing dolly. Then I called his store, and he fixed it to the correct price. Then charged me again. And now I have to wait 3 to 5 business days to get my money back on the day rent is due. The fact that he said he was taking it off, and didn't, then charge me for missing dolly. That was suppose to be update to the appliance one. Is totally unsatisfactory! Such an inconvenience!
MELISSA A.As soon as I drove through the gate the code came on for a low tire and I took it to fire Stone and the pressure was 47 instead of 80. I did get it filled up but it never should've been that way also the truck should've been aired out it was smoky and The cab could've been vacuumed out. The gas tank was right at 3/4 rather than full and I used only 12 miles worth of gas and then the picture showed hardly any. Using the link I put it between 5/8 and 3/4 and I got a bill for $27.50 in gas and that is not acceptable. Also as the manager on duty on Sunday agreed with me I was unable to use U-Haul's online platform to either change my reservation appropriately or to follow through to confirm it because the Internet website did not work and I understand how that can happen but it also disallowed me from making a comment in while still in the parking lot I'm using text there wasn't enough Wi-Fi around there and so I couldn't let y'all know about the tire once I drove out of the gate and needed to hurry and get back to my moving crew before my truck was due

Allan B.I used this location twice in the past two weeks for one way returns. The first time it was a trailer and they didn't want to unhook it so they sent me to another location. The second time I was returning a truck they told me just to leave it with the keys in it in the parking lot. I insisted they check in it. They agreed and after he checked in said his phone would connect and email me a receipt when he walked inside. The next day I got a phone asking when was I returning the truck. I was left worried for an hour while they located it. They called me back stating they found it.
La Rena C.Having to park in another establishment to use the vehicles is a big inconvenience. In addition this is the 2nd time I have rented a vehicle that needed attending to the tires. This day was rainy and stopping was tricky in the rain. Not sure if it's the brakes or the tires but I would check them before issuing to customers. Though the side mirror was tagged to be settled, it also was still cracked and made it difficult to see the images through the side mirror. The self checkin will be my option because there were so many damages to the vehicle that were not previously noted that were significant enough to have been charged for them upon my return. I wonder if these same damages were inspected before the van was made available. I did appreciate the rep bringing the key but it was mostly to tell me to park in a different business parking lot.

MARK B.The truck I was given had a leak to the box. I couldn't have known it as the truck sat under a canopy in pouring rain before I left the lot. Thankfully, I only needed it for an hour and the furniture I moved wasn't affected by the water leak. It also had a rear tire pressure low warning and I was told it was a faulty sensor. The truck needs to have maintenance performed prior to renting it out again.

I like U-haul but from this time I cannot trust the people working in U-haul.

I could not depart the property as directed due to an auto hauler obstructing the area for a turn. This complete ordeal caused a departure delay of 45 minutes. The truck has over 175k miles and did not sound good, nor did it drive well.

Many thanks to management and the crew at this location for making positive changes to enhance the UHaul brand! These guys could teach more than a few things to the Peters Street Atlanta location. The second move I stored my belongings for 7 months. My only complaint would be the stench in a unit near mine, so I'm not sure that there is much the company can do about that. I give this location a thumbs up, and will definitely return if I need to again!! Also, the staff is great even with the long lines and demanding customers, they give you one on one assistance, and will see your process all the way through!

The facility is kind of hidden in the back of the lot.

It was a very busy day, so there was quite a wait (certainly not the employees fault - just stating that). When we got our access card, we were very disappointed that we couldn't get an access code. One card is not convenient. Then the card would not work to get us into the building and I had to go back to the busy office. It was re-programmed, I went back to the elevator, and up to the 3rd floor we went, only to find a lock on our unit. Back to the busy office to get an employee with the master keys to take off the facility's lock so we could store our items. Honestly this experience took WAY longer than it should have due to all of the glitches. The pricing is also extremely high, now that I have had the time to check comparable storage facilities in the area. Again, everyone was very nice and helpful, despite that they were extremely busy.

I had to ask him how I was supposed to enter/exit the facility which he replies "oh yeah you'll need a code". He also forgot to give me a card to swipe in and out of the unit on top of not giving me directions on how sign-in/out process worked or even where my unit was located. When explaining my situation to him, he was sarcastic and said "you need to sign-in of course". He also forgot to ask me to bring back a lock and another item from the unit and asked me to get them one at a time. I'd return with one item and he'd go "well what about this item? I need that as well"...The lady who was working on that day is the only reason it didn't get a 1-star review as she helped me move the U-haul because I didn't feel comfortable navigating the 26' in the tight corners Fast forward to the move out process. I went to the physical location because I wasn't able to move out via the website, and I spoke with a worker who was helping another customer but wrote down my name and unit number and said she'd move me out after helping the customer. Unfortunately, she must have forgotten and on the 24th of September, I got an email on the 27th from the GM saying my rent was past due. I replied to the email explaining I had moved out on the 21st and that I spoke to an employee on the 24th. In addition to emailing the email, I called the facility and once again an employee wrote down my name and unit number and said he'd move me out. On the 28th, I spoke to a U-Haul customer service rep and she said I should go down to the physical location and speak to the GM. So, on Oct 1st I went to the location and was FINALLY moved out after learning there currently isn't a GM. In short, between the truck issues in Houston and this process in Atlanta, I'm done spending over $1k per move with U-Haul. End rant

Called customer service to verify and Was told the uhaul truck has to be booked for a one way trip in order to qualify for the 30 days free. Cool. However that’s not what was explained to me. Requested a manager who listened to the recording from my initial call and heard that I was promised 30 days free and said she would rectify the issue. She didnt. Oh and let’s not forget I was on hold with customer service being passed around from person to person for more than 2 Hours. Moving my stuff out to cube smart. Done

It showed 2 drive up storage areas available and I RESERVED one of the drive up units. I called on May 2nd to confirm my reservation at the storage area for May 5 and they said everything okay just bring ID etc. When I showed up at 7:15am May 5 I did not get her name but there was a card Samanda Lora told me that there were no other drive up storage available and they booked me for indoor storage 2nd floor. I asked why this happened and got no reply why but this is what you get nothing more. My issue was I was meeting my movers at 8am and paying by the hour to make the move. I did not have time to find another facility and I was going to pay these movers by the hour. I took the unit and got a free lock WOW! While the movers were loading my furniture on the truck I called your 800 number and got a very nice lady and explained my issue and she came back and said she talked with Eddie and they found a drive up storage and Eddie was waiting for me. I immediately got in my car to go take off the lock on my 2nd floor and go see Eddie about my drive up. On the way over I did receive a call from someone (Eddie) but did not answer because I was driving and only to get to the Uhaul place and have Eddie saying he made a mistake and there was nothing he could do. I GUESS MY ISSUE HERE IS WHY TO YOU HAVE A SYSTEM THAT WHEN YOU RESERVE SOMETHING IT DOES NOT RESERVE WHAT YOU WANT! I NEVER FOUND OUT FROM THE 2 EMPLOYEES WHY THIS HAPPENS AND IT SEEMS TO ME A BAIT AND SWITCH. UHAUL IS BETTER THAN THIS AND I WOULD EXPECT NOTHING LESS. I GOT A FREE LOCK AND PAID MY MOVERS AN EXTRA HOUR MORE TO MOVE ME BECAUSE WE COULD NOT JUST TAKE IT OFF THE TRUCK AND PUT IT IN THE DRIVE UP STORAGE. I DID TRY TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE AT THE STORAGE AREA AND ALL EDDIE DID WAS GIVE ME THE BROCHURE THE IN-TOWN MOVERS WITH YOUR CEO E.J. "JOE" SHOEN TO CONTACT.

On February 29th I reserved a storage location, my friend & I showed up & were forced to deal with a lady whom was not helpful. She would hand us the paper with the storage numbers and price & give us the key card to look around on our own because she "can't get up, too old". She was rude & asked us the same questions over & over again because she was not paying attention. I came back to the storage 1 week later on March 8th & my key card was denied, I go into the office & was greeted by the Manager & the same unhelpful lady, whom looked totally different this day. Due to her lack of attention last week, She put us in the wrong storage room. The manager was helpful & solved the problem. But I definitely paid too much money to have my access denied & spent 20 minutes re-entering the information that their employee inputted incorrectly. I personally wouldn't book with this location a second time.
