The truck and trailer were not prepared, was asked to connect them , was given N Drop off location which did not accept the trailer and truck, 2 more locations refused to take them, was forced to drive many miles more to drop off. Called to cust service demanding credits for extra gas I put in truck and the extra time and stress I Was denied Spend 1,5 hours just talking to customer service. I went to return the rental key after hours but the slot to return the key was too small for the larger key fob I was given. I had to return the next morning and hand deliver it because there was no other option. Install some newer after hours boxes to accommodate the larger key fobs.Christopher H.
I was lock upstairs on the 3 floor with my key..and my man friend that was helping me move told one of the young ladies in the office for help to get Elevators open She had a nasty attitude and said she didn't have to open it.. Then when I try to explain to her they don't want to hear it.. Every time I come there to do business its always a problem with someone in the front office... The truck was in bad shape. The customer service was horrible. They told me to call the 1-800 number because they don't know how to deal with problems. They also cancelled a reservation on us and blamed it on us. We waited an hour for them to tell us they didn't have a truck and then lied and said we cancelled. Very unreliable and untrustworthy. I drop my truck off Sunday about 5 p.m. You guys were closed. Therefore you could not rent the truck to anyone else. I was about 30 minutes late and I was charged an extra day for the truck and equipment and I was not able to provide a picture to do self check-in because I wasn't aware of how that worked until I had already put the keys into the Dropbox and therefore could not get back into the car to take a picture to show the mileage for the online check in and subsequently charged an additional $20. Wanting to automate things is great but not having this explained to the customer beforehand just cost me an extra $100 that I would like to be refunded. On top of all that the lock that I was sold for the door does not actually fit the door of the truck and I was told I could not return which was an additional $10 that I am out.MICHAEL L.

There was 1 person working and a line of 10+ people, I got my truck 45 mins late, others where behind me and at the same time. Was not fair on the worker there who was amazing for what she had to deal with. Would safely never use your location again. Used Uhaul 5 times and this was horrible. 0 stars will be going online. Excellent staff, light bulbs were never in my storage unit for one room and the other was out when going visit. It would be nice for uhaul to fix this often. Well lit areas are important! Also the Elevator is terrible; especially when you have paid movers and every time the elevator close - it takes 3-tries, before the door close! Something has to be done! That’s terrible. Don’t wait till someone gets hurts before fixing! It’s been 4-months and still not running correctly. By the way, I’m referencing building A. The attendant helped 2 other customers while my truck rental was being fulfilled. I waited an hour at the desk. This place was seriously understaffed for a Saturday. The employee told us that there is a charge to hook/unhook the trailer from our car, which has never happened previously. He kept encouraging us to unhook the trailer ourselves and act as if we were inconveniencing him for unhooking the trailer. the van was not properly cleaned and had a super strong bad smell. When I informed the manager she was very upset and only managed to tell me that she was going to clean it, but I told her that it was not to be cleaned, that the van stunk horrible. But still he spoke to me with a lot of attitude. For that reason I decided to take the unit even so smelling ugly because I was running late with my commitment. I had a 3pm rental. When i arrived, there were 2 people in front of me and the only person working at this location was cleaning a van. I walked outside to talk to her. She said the computer was slow. After about 15 minutes, she finally came in. Magically the computer was working fine. It took an hour for me to get my rental. I reserved a dolly, the kind with four wheels, along with the U-haul truck. The rental of the dolly was $7. To my surprise, at the time to pick up the truck, the U-haul lady told me that they did not have a dolly available, BUT BUT BUT they had the same kind of dolly for sale, for $20! That's a shame. So, instead of the question "what can we do to improve for the next customer", how about the question "what can we do to make it up for the current customer"? If you could refund the difference of $13 (along with sales tax), I'd be very much impressed. My friends would certainly hear my story with U-haul, how it ends is now up to you.Renhao L.

I was overcharged for this rental. The person responsible for this was unable to remedy it. I was told to call back the next day, which I did. I spoke with someone, who said he would have my money refunded. I was originally charged $48.44, and then another $40.96. This person said that the correct amount should have been $52.73, which he then charged my account. He indicated that the $48.44 and $40.96 would be refunded. My conversation with him occurred on September 19, 2021. My bank has no record of ever receiving the refund. Over the last 10 days, I have called the business where the rental took place multiple times, but they just pass me off to the customer service line. After 7 or 8 times calling that number and being left on hold indefinitely, I still have no recourse for obtaining my refund.Mary B.
The original location for my UHAUL reservation did not have the vehicle I reserved and provided no timeframe or assistance to rectify the matter. After contacting UHAUL corporate, they found me a vehicle at a different location, but which was farther away and for which I was then required to pay the additional milage and fuel. This whole affair set me back by nearly 2 hours, causing conflict with the other parties who were assisting with the items I needed to move. Overall I am frustrated by the overbooking policies that allowed this to occur and the inflexibility to work with customers to provide alternative solutions when this arises.REBECCA H.
Don't trust reservations, they will cancel them on you. I reserved a truck the night before. When I went to picked it up they told me that it wasn't available, then they sent me to another location. I get there after a 30 mile drive only to tell me that it isn't available either. Once again, they send me to another location and the same story repeats itself. I requested the day off from work so that I can move all my belonging to my apartment. The truck swtiching took me 4 hours out of my time. I will never use Uhaul again.Kelvin C.

I was notified by text 1 hour before check in that my location had changed, ONE HOUR!! I then spent over 30 minutes trying to find out where that new location would be on hold waiting to talk to someone. It cost me to have the guys wait. The new location was over 10 miles away which I was ALSO CHARGED FOR. When I got to the other location I was greeted by a pleasant female. As I was asking her about a credit I was supposed to receive in a very calm way(PLEASE CHECK VIDEO IF YOU HAVE IT!) a guy (Ricky?)in a dress shirt 3 rows over started yelling at me saying i wasn't going to take money out of his drawer and was going in circles. I asked ONE TIME why the credit I was supposed to receive couldn't be applied to the rental. He (Ricky I believe his name was) screamed that I would have to deal with corporate. Add to that that none of the staff were masked. It is a CITY MANDATE in Brookhaven. I have rented from U-Haul directly and indirectly many times, never have I been treated as less than a human being. I would rather hire a moving company than do this again. They would have been on time, my dignity would be intact, and I would have had far less stress. Moving is very stressful anyway. I did not deserve to be rescheduled at the very last moment, charged extra because IT WAS NOT MY MISTAKE, nor treated as a subhuman being. I work for the NGLCC. (National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce) and it's local Atlanta chapter. I feel I may have been discriminated against because I am gay. I would like reassurance that this is not the stance of corporate.david G.

You call the night before to change location and pick up time. Phone agent was not prepared with the new location and suggested an office 50 miles away in cartersville GA. Ended up pushing my start time back 3 hours. When i arrived at the new location, the truck and moving blankets were clean and ready but they did NOT have the Dollys i requested. Tiffany was wonderful! So friendly and knowledgeable about all of my questions. The facility is very well maintained-super clean and it even smells good inside. My only suggestion would be to place a U-Haul sign at the Clairmont Rd entrance, as I thought I was in the wrong lot, only seeing Sam’s Club when I pulled in.
