I had a horrible experience with UHaul. I reserved the truck 3 weeks in advance of our move, arrived at the first location early and had the message to get the keys from the front desk and my truck was given to another customer. Then, I was told to uber to a second location that also didn't think they had a truck for me. After arguing and making calls for 1 hour, the associate finally realized they did have a truck after all. This cost me an hour of time for movers and Uhaul said I would be reimbursed but I never was... horrible.Christopher O.

This Van should have been out of service for numerous reasons my hold while using.... At the time I rented it seems there weren't any other accommodations..... In hindsight I remember service associate saying this van should NOT show able to rent on-line, but since you're allowed to make reservations I'll give it to you.....Brandon S.

After reserving a 24/7 pick up for 6am on the 30 Nov.at the Thurman rd location that canceled my pick up without notification didn't have the equipment at all as it turns out. The customer service rep.found the Forest Hill location for 7am pick up. The staff was very accommodating.TRACY T.

I arrived to bring my things and move them in. I was using a Uhaul truck and had limited time on it so I was hoping to finish in a timely manner. When I get there the associate was on the phone with what seemed like a friend. The manager was busy with another customer. The associate told me that the storage I reserved was not there. I showed him my reservation and he said they didn’t have any. So I lef t frustrated. 10 minutes into my drive trying to find another storage, the manager calls and tells me that they do have a lot of open units. I turn all the way back around. I go back inside and the associate is there. I was told my info would be pulled up but it was very slow. He finally was to show me where my unit was, but instead of waiting for me to get the truck, he drove off. I waited at the gate until he finally appeared and waved for me to come towards him. I get to my unit and he asks me if I have a lock. I said “no I didn’t know I needed one. Do you sell them?” He says “yes”. Which was more frustrating because if I knew that I would’ve bought it earlier while everything was processing. He then drove off and did not show me how to open the storage. I had to call the front office and the manager explained it to me. When I was finally finished I had to go all the way back to the front just to buy a lock and then go back to my storage to lock it. This should’ve been a 30 minute process. But it took up 1 hour 45 minutes of my time. Costing me money and time. The manager was nice and apologized. But this was the worst experience I’ve ever had! Thank you! I stored my things here for 4 years and am grateful. Unfortunately, my gate didn't close properly and when I returned the unit was full of mice and cockroaches. I'm sure that's not unusual, though. It seems that over my rental period the gates all around mine were replaced with new ones. It would have been nice if they would have replaced mine as well. Otherwise, the facility is convenient. The staff was always very nice and communication was consistent and polite. Thank you! The location that I used (7866 Forrest Hills Dr, Atlanta, GA), could not have been more unprofessional. My box arrived here in June. I scheduled a pickup for my box on Saturday 8/7, many days in advanced. 2 hours before pickup, I get a call from this location saying they don't have a forklift driver. I was frustrated because this should have been planned for in advanced. I Saturday is when I had off from work and could move into my new home. UHaul should have planned for a forklift drivers on a Saturday weeks before. The lady on the phone was unapologetic and unprofessional. I then move into a new home on Sunday 9/19. My movers show up at UHaul to get my box but UHaul tells them â€œit's unavailableâ€ with no information. Because this UHaul location didnt answer my numerous phone calls, I had to drive 30 minutes to the location to speak to them and they said they didn't get the box from the back of the storage room. I had placed my moving order 3 days before!!! There's no reason this should've happened and the fact that they can't call to let me know with proper notice! THEN I reschedule my movers for the next day, and my movers have to spend 90 minutes waiting for UHaul to get my box because my order shows canceled in the system!? Garnicia (the new general store manager) was not helpful as she said she didn't know what she was doing because she was new. I didn't cancel it, I had no refund, and it showed as active in the system. This was such a frustrating experience, I will not be using UHaul again. They were EXTREMELY difficult to get ahold of on the phone or chat consistently (from June to September I only got ahold of them on the phone twice)Priya S.

I was charged for fuel, even thiugh i brought it back at the same level as when i got the truck. The guy in the office was very rude, stating he had his personal life and didn't have time to check me in. I want the fuel charges returned to me asap.Avery G.

This was actually the last location I visited and the customer service was awesome. Ms.Garnerica was very polite & knowledgeable. The other two locations I visited prior to the last location was awful,rude,and need to be properly trained people skills on dealing with the public.ERICA W.
I would rated this location a 5 star. Because of the great experience I had returning the vehicle. Checking out the vehicle was a whole different story. The associate working that day was too quick to check me out and these are results of a good/bad review. 1. The contract indicated a full tank. It had less then 3/4. 2. The mileage on the contract indicated over 77,000 miles. It had a little over 66,000 miles. When I brought these findings to the associates attention. She dismissed me by saying. â€œJust take a picture.â€ REALLY!DEBRA R.

She and the female that was in training provided exceptional service and was able to rise above the rude, disrespectful, unreasonable and out right crazy customers before me. I'd like to commend her on the level of professionalism and courtesy she and the trainee showed me, the undeserving customers ahead of me and the customers that were there when I returned the truck. Employees like these two make customers want to come back. Keep up the good work Erica and trainee who's name I forgot. And congrats to Uhaul for having caring employees.
