CELIAROBINSON S.I've been coming here for years with no problems. Now it seems the staff has a, "I don't give a shit attitude". The vehicle was dented everywhere and the inside smelled of "Skunk" like marijuana. I sprayed the inside down with Lysol and it still stunk. I believe they wrote down the wrong mileage when I picked it up. I showed I traveled 96 miles, they show 127. I never got an emailed contract with the mileage or damage report. I received an email after I returned the vehicle. I had no proof of the mileage or damages. I will not rent here again.

I told the gentleman there and he offered another van when 1 was available but I declined because I missed my time window while bringing the other one back. I do think I should have been charged for this rental since I drove half way to my pick des and brought it back. The customer service reps at this location are very nice and professional so I did not put a complaint in as it was not their fault the equipment was having issues

Jeannie T.Clean!!! I had to wipe down the cab with Clorox wipes and remove trash from the cab, including a half eaten hamburger. The windshield had a film over it that the wipers just smeared around making it difficult to see until I could clean.

My contract shows I received the truck with half a tank of gas and returned it with a half tank of gas (as I was supposed to/told to - you return the truck with the same amount of gas that you started with). Despite this I was charged for 75 dollars worth of missing fuel. This is horrible. Give me back my money.

James P.Unfriendly, Unprofessional and Misinformation about equipment & vehicle. 1. Truck had body damage on every side, I had to dispute each on App. 2. Location manager lied about extra hand truck being in vehicle. I had to return to desk and request the item. Manager was annoyed I made the request. Pushed the hand truck out the front door instead of bringing it to the truck and loading it in the cargo area. 3. Returned the truck & equipment under alloted time, and with less used mileage from estimated rental contract. The mileage was not adjusted on final bill. This used to be my favorite location to rent from, the new management has ruined the place, and I suspect is not at all interested in a positive customer experience. 🙃

Viola K.The screws on my unit were busted the entire time. By busted, I mean, the screws holding the lock on were just sitting in two oversized holes so all anyone had to do to access my unit was to use there hand to pull off the lock area. I always got the same response, well we have cameras. No one ever messed with my unit. But still would've been nice to have that extra security of a locked storage unit I should've had the whole time. The bathroom finally got fixed within the last few months. The storage facility is well lit and always clean. Every person I talked to, in the office, was professional and courteous. The housekeeper was always friendly and a sweet woman to talk too. I have recommended this U-Haul and would recommend again, even with my broken lock. I am writing this in hopes that corporate can finally send the stores the right supplies to fix said issue. Since everytime it was ordered, the hardware would not come or wasn't available. Thank you.

Mary B.I had a guaranteed pick up at the initial location but the vehicle tow that I rented was not available upon my scheduled arrival. So, I was move to this locate which took me way across town and prevented me from completing what I was required to do. There is a $50 payout associated for this inconvenience as advertised by UHaul, but I have not received anything. Not call, no apology, nothing. I am extremely disappointed.

Vanessa E. | Overall ExperienceWent to pick up my reserved trailer at my rental location on my reservation day and the equipment I reserved was not there. Waited 20 mins and finally was sent to another location. Trailer was there and was connected to my truck by a U-Haul employee. I was told everything was good and ready to go. I pulled out of the parking lot onto the highway and the trailer came off of the hitch 300 ft out of the parking lot. Hitch was never tightened and chains weren't attached correctly either. I reconnected in the middle of the road and continued on. More care should be taken to ensure safety. Trailer was not clean inside and had to get swept out before I loaded my contents. When I rented online, there was a disclaimer that said if my equipment wasn't there at my selected location, U-Haul would give me $50. Both store pushed it off to the next and didn't acknowledge or really know how the payment worked. If my bill was credited, I wasn't notified. With the inconvenience, I was charged an additional $29 because I was 3 hours late to my drop off. I would like to know how to get the $50 to at least recoup the late fee which considering how my rental started, I shouldn't have had to pay. Trailer worked well and had no problems during my trip.

These got in the way of our moving and it would have been nice if the personnel at this UHaul facility had been able to remove them. Additionally I kept receiving text messages from the facility asking me to tow a trailer behind our truck. They were only going to pay $27.80 - which wouldn't even have covered gas. It would have been nice for them to actually offer to cover the added gas.

I submit my move out request prior to the payment due date and I received an email a little while later saying that I still needed to pay on the unit. I told them I sent out a request prior to the due date and I received ANOTHER email saying I owe. It makes me wonder whether you all are trying to take people's money or perhaps your system is unorganized. After calling up there, the lady says she saw my move in request and that someone would give me a call back. I received NO call back and just yesterday received another random email saying I owe. I respond to that one saying I already went through this and I have evidence to prove I do not owe you all. After no response, I finally receive an email including my receipt from my move out. HUH? I will definitely not be using the Uhaul at Dupont again. Also, the employees that sent these emails are Mary Treschenko and Sulma Culbertson.

We had a unit on the outside at the U-Haul across from Bellwood on Jefferson Davis. When we emptied the unit it was just as clean inside as when we rented it. No bugs or rodents and no water had entered the unit. Thanks again we will rent there again if we should ever need your service.
