I was called and told the trailer was overdue and was going to be reported stolen? I had already been granted an extension before I even picked up the trailer. When I requested an additional extension (due to unforeseen circumstances), I was told “It's not all about me, and many other families need this trailer…” I was again threatened with the trailer being reported stolen before the call was ended. I find this hard to believe with the amount of UHaul locations in the surrounding area. I called back to National City location and they were extremely helpful and granted me the extension with no problem! The El Monte location then called me back immediately after seeing my extension in the system and were very rude. Asking again when I would return the trailer (even though they were looking at the reservation). After I told him, he hung up. I've rented many times from locations all over the US, and almost always had a great experience. This location however was very unprofessional.

Worst service by any provider we've ever used.. went 300 miles one way to pick up 2 trucks and trailer that weren't there.. 600 miles round trip.. uhaul is the worst company worst customer service… lies and such a non caring attitude staff… you've gone way down hill …

You hire a young person that do not even greet you, hes personality is very volatile. He overcharged me 1 day. Not a great experience, I have use Uhaul services before but this location needs improvement. The truck key needed batteries and did not work properly.

The girl, Lily G., didn't explain anything to me and literally just put the dolly into the truck and handed me the key and two papers. I'm just a girl and don't know anything about rental trucks. If my boyfriend wasn't there with me, I would've been screwed. I didn't check the papers that she gave me and just took off. On the third day when I went to return the truck, I checked the paper and saw that it was marked as half a tank was in the truck when it was given to me when it was half a quarter tank!! Not a quarter tank, my friend, it was half of that quarter. Pumping gas is extremely expensive for a V8 engine truck so I spent over $200 on gas. If I had actually looked at the paper before leaving the premise, I would've went back to her. U-Haul got lucky and ripped me off.

there was not enough employees during check in. there was only 1 employee which made the checkout line wait really long, with only 2 customers before me it took 30 min to check in and pickup my rental. checkout however was a breeze and very fast and efficient

First off, Uhaul changed my pick up Location without notifying me. It was another 12.5 miles farther. I was promised 178 miles but when I returned the truck, I was told I went over by 1 mile and I was only allotted 160 miles. I was given a truck with animal hair inside the truck. It also had scratches and dents. The air conditioner was completely broken. The employees were iuattentive and Had no empathy. Whe. I asked for another trick they said they couldn't give me another truck I had to call road side assistance doe help. My truck COULD not be fixed. My husband and I had to drive to the high desert in over 100 degree weather with the windows down and NO A/C. Road side assistance offered a meal for dinner but still stuck with a broke down dirty truck.

Sorry I can't think of anything more that you could have done. Uhaul saved us during the frantic activities of moving. Making every effort to get us the equipment we needed. I didn't think we could have accomplished the out-of-state move without them. Thank you!

Calling in takes nearly 20-30 minutes. Overall, my experience was great but if the call wait time can be reduced to 5-10 minutes, I would give an overall rating of 10/10. For now, it is a 7/10.

I'm not entirely sure, but for one, the van was dirty (outside) with multiple stains (inside). When I dropped off the truck the app was not accepting my photo of the odometer and miles, so i logged in using google and I was able to finalize the return, by this time, it showed that I had returned the truck several minutes after the due time of 9pm.

I was treated rudely because I had forgotten my mask. Equipment I reserved was not available (furniture dolly). I was charged for this equipment regardless, and am still waiting for a refund. I was instructed to unhitch the trailer myself because there was not enough staff, and was nearly injured when the dolly slipped resulting in my falling flat on my back

Okay here we go this happened to me, I drove from Northern California to Southern California, on Saturday planning to return the next day, and I made a reservation on line for a cargo trailer 6/12 and pay for it and submit all the paperwork I need to check out faster they call me and told me what time I was coming to pick it up, I said 10:30 didn't get there an hour later with traffic and not knowing the city well. So by the time I get there to pick up trailer my reservation was cancelled and they told me because I didn't call they rented out already. And I take responsibility for not calling, but you know the stress it goes with renting a U-Haul on the personal side I'm speaking you're moving something or somewhere else.. so one thing for you to improve is why not give a customer a courtesy call, txt, or email just to make sure they are on track, because so many things can happen, and besides you have pretty much all of the information to contact customer, specially in this moving business...thank you at end the people at Garvey av was able to find me the smallest cargo trailer.thank you...

Check in was horrible. Took 21 minutes to get checked in. Customer service was TRASH!!!! Called three times to never get through once. Then they thought they were going to charge me for two days.

I got charged a whole extra day for bringing back the rental trailer a little over an hour late!!! That's fucking garbage! Instead of prorating the extra time you just feel the need to go ahead and charge an extra day. That's fucking ludicrous. Last time I use Uhaul for anything.

I needed to keep the trailer for an extra day and after 20 minutes of listening to check your contract do it on line etc etc on the phone The lady never shut up so instead of having advertising and yet they never picked up just say your call is important to us please wait on the line every minute or two .minutes. when I return the trailer it was disconnected and I was on my way within minutes
