Was great. If anything, might be nice to have your guys come outside to the cars that pull up. Just might add an extra sense of customer service like the old pull-up service and has stations. The location allows for it and could help process things a little quicker. Our pickup was slow, despite there being 2 employees and only one customer inside the store, drop off was quick.

WHY IS A 65 YEAR OLD CUSTOMER FORCED TO USE HIS CELL PHONE TO TAKE PHOTOS OF EQUIPMENT DAMAGE BEFORE THE EQUIPMENT IS RELEASED TO THE CUSTOMER. THE CUSTOMER IS BEING FORCED TO USE TECHNOLOGY THEY MAY NOT BE FAMILIAR WITH. I GUARANTEE THAT IF A DAMAGE CLAIM FROM UHUAL WAS CLAIMED AGAINST THE CUSTOMER AND THE CUSTOMER CLAIMED THAT A PHOTO OF PRE-EXISTING DAMAGE WAS UPLOADED AND UHAUL CLAIMS THAT THEY DID NOT RECEIVE IT, TECHNICAL ISSUES COULD NOT BE PROVED. IN COURT A JUDGE WOULD SAY THE OLD PAPER DOCUMENTATION WOULD HOLD UP AGAINST UN-PROVABLE ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTATION.

The lot was covered with broken glass. Mentioned it to the guy working there, he said he knew, but didnt go out to clean it up. Other than that it was ok.

The 19.95 is a bit misleading common folk don't work in the industry. Many as I take the 19.95 a day meaning a 24 hour period not in 12 hour increments. The actual cost is 39.95 which is a standard cost. We will be renting the van in the future.

The guy that works there didn't explain anything to me. He just asked how many miles will I be using without telling me that it affects the price. Also he didn't explain how to use the trolley.

I first called and reserved a tow dolly with the Pico Rivera location on Rosemead Blvd and when I got there the equipment was not working and couldn't get the lights to works, so I was asked to go to El Monte and when I went there they have the same issue with the lights and it ended up being a ground problem on the dolly which I figured out for them -

went to uhaul on rosmead blvd made reservation 4 days in advance for 12 foot trailer with ramp. recieved email that i had to go back to get my mercedes GL450 inspected. went back was told my tail lights didn't work with adapter plug went home to check lights found lights working fine uhaul employed did't know that there are two adapters european one is what i needed he tried amercan version thats why my tail lights didn't work went back found my reservation was for trailer with no ramp employee changed reservation to ramp trailer had him print out to make sure ramp trailer was on reservation went to el monte no trailer with ramp employe told me ramp trailer was not reserved for me. had to take no ramp trailer only for employe to call me two hours later to tell me trailer came back. Had to go back to get right trailer was very disapointed. wont recomend uhaul to anybody trailer worked good thanks for the inconvince jim bixenman 6265368772

The vehicle was an 8' pickup. The driver seat needs some clean but the other part of the vehicles was good enough.

Picked up a car transporter , very slow service , no parking , trucks backed up everywhere , got home loaded the car and the tie down straps were torn , could not be used ,took the car down and called and I was told to return it for an exchange , went back 1 hour later and had a hard time trading trailers , finally hooked up I checked the straps and was on my way .

Staff was rude at check in, but were very nice and helpful after that. Facility looks clean but has roaches. Checkout process took far too long. And could never speak with staff onsite for help

my first experience with this location was not a positive one. i felt the staff was rude and incompetent, especially the young lady that checked me in. I had to fight to get what I had been promised online. However the rest of my experience was very good. The staff on site was very helpful and knowledgeable and i felt my belonging were safe. the only bad thing is that i found roaches, both dead and alive in the storage unit and some of my belongings. i did not have roaches i my home so they did not come from. i had to put an insect fogger in the u haul truck before w i would unload my belongings into my new residence

I made a reservation for a one way trailer a week prior to needing it. The day before the pick up, the Chino uhaul I reserved it thru called me and told me they did not have the trailer I reserved any longer, they gave it away. Told me I had to go to the Ontario Uhaul if I wanted the trailer still. I would give the Chino location no stars if I could that they don't keep the trailer that you reserve. They GUARANTEED me that the Ontario location would have the trailer. Drove an hour in traffic the next morning to the Ontario branch, and went thru paperwork, paid for the trailer and then he had me drive around to the back to hook it up. Only problem was, THE TRAILER WAS NOT THERE!!! The manager (Abel, I think) said that one of his guys resnted my trailer out the night before after it was GUARANTEED To be there...Abel was very condescending and said, "sorry, I can't build you a trailer out of nothing and your only choice is to drive another 40+ miles to El Monte or Hesperia to grab a trailer from them. Finally drove another hour to El Monte and they actually had what I reserved from Chino a week prior and the El Monte location was Awesome. Chino AND Ontario were horrible experiences and will probably not use Uhaul again because of them, the Ontario branch especially. I wish I could rate Chino and Ontario directly but since they actually did not provide me the service I reserved, I do not get an actual survey for them...Please pass this along if anyone actually cares...
