This location wasn't crowded. I entered and there were 2 employees at the service desk. An audible 'welcome' or 'how can I assist you' would be nice but masks make it difficult at this present time. They had the vehicle I needed, unlike another location I reserved with the app. I returned the rental 15 minutes before closing. I waited inside the store for my ride to pick me up. I left before the closing time, but they didn't seem stressed to want me out of the store, which I appreciated.KOH I.
The lady who helped me had a bad attitude and was t very helpful. I needed an appliance dolly she said they were out and didn't help me find one. I came to drop off in the morning and seen about 4 in the garage.MATTHEW T.

This truck was filthy and smelly inside. There were strange stains as if some dead animals or trash were transported. Completely unacceptable and very difficult to load because the smell was so bad even with masks on. Please do better. You raise your prices. Fine. But do better.Oswuar W.

I was called and told the trailer was overdue and was going to be reported stolen? I had already been granted an extension before I even picked up the trailer. When I requested an additional extension (due to unforeseen circumstances), I was told â€œIt's not all about me, and many other families need this trailerâ€¦â€ I was again threatened with the trailer being reported stolen before the call was ended. I find this hard to believe with the amount of UHaul locations in the surrounding area. I called back to National City location and they were extremely helpful and granted me the extension with no problem! The El Monte location then called me back immediately after seeing my extension in the system and were very rude. Asking again when I would return the trailer (even though they were looking at the reservation). After I told him, he hung up. I've rented many times from locations all over the US, and almost always had a great experience. This location however was very unprofessional.BJ H.

The girl, Lily G., didn't explain anything to me and literally just put the dolly into the truck and handed me the key and two papers. I'm just a girl and don't know anything about rental trucks. If my boyfriend wasn't there with me, I would've been screwed. I didn't check the papers that she gave me and just took off. On the third day when I went to return the truck, I checked the paper and saw that it was marked as half a tank was in the truck when it was given to me when it was half a quarter tank!! Not a quarter tank, my friend, it was half of that quarter. Pumping gas is extremely expensive for a V8 engine truck so I spent over $200 on gas. If I had actually looked at the paper before leaving the premise, I would've went back to her. U-Haul got lucky and ripped me off.CATHY L.

First off, Uhaul changed my pick up Location without notifying me. It was another 12.5 miles farther. I was promised 178 miles but when I returned the truck, I was told I went over by 1 mile and I was only allotted 160 miles. I was given a truck with animal hair inside the truck. It also had scratches and dents. The air conditioner was completely broken. The employees were iuattentive and Had no empathy. Whe. I asked for another trick they said they couldn't give me another truck I had to call road side assistance doe help. My truck COULD not be fixed. My husband and I had to drive to the high desert in over 100 degree weather with the windows down and NO A/C. Road side assistance offered a meal for dinner but still stuck with a broke down dirty truck.GUY G.
