U-Haul employees are very rude and unprofessional with no customer service experience. The employees at the Pico Rivera location named Ashley and Erick discriminate customers. I will never recommend U-Haul to anyone. I will tell all of my friends and family and social media of the horrific experience I received from the staff at U-Haul. I have evidence of the discrimination that occurred at the Pico location and we intend to file a lawsuit.Erick M.

At the front desk I was charged $102 and some change but when I look at my bank statement it said $117 and some change when I return the truck I told the guy what it said on my bank statement he said well that's not what I have here which they charge me $28 dollars and some change.I dont think that's right I hope this doesn't happen to somebody.ANTHONY M.
I made a reservation online and also checked in online but still spent another good 15 minutes for the guy to process. Reserved a furniture dolly but none available when I picked up the van. The guy at the desk said the tank is full but in it wasn't only 3/4 full (felt cheated). Went to Uhaul at Rosemead and Mission to pick up the furniture dolly the guy said he has one. Again, waited for another 10 minutes for him to look in the his computer then told me that there is one available on site but for reason he could not rent it out. You guys should re-train your employees. They're almost USELESS.Van B.

Wouldn't recommend U-Haul to any friend or family member. During my entire interaction employee failed to mention that there was a charge for using the after hours program you have, I even asked and was told no. Then low and behold the next morning after returning item after hours there was a $20 charge!! I made sure to tell everyone I know about this so that they wouldn't fall suckers to what seems like a Convenient feature but really is just a way to rob people of money.Verenice B.

Have your rentals Gased Up & ready to go & please inform your customer's up front before releasing the equipment about the gas especially if your renting them on very Low gas because my bill was $92 and some cents but then after requesting 2 speak with a supervisor it dropped to $42 and some cents and this only happened bcse I raised my voice in concern otherwise the rental would have cost me just about $140 & that's including the $40 I put in gas after getting it with only 1/4 filled. This experience was Truly just sad : 1st - I had cash on me & was told I needed 2 have CC 2nd - Computer's kept acting up I arrived in store about 8:50 am or so & was finally able 2 leave at 10:15 am 3rd - Vehicle only had 1/4 tank of gas 4th & Final - Was told that the $40 I put in gas was going 2b my loss & on top of that my bill was $92 +. As a business, it was well. Thankfully last minute due to another Uhaul locations error, I was able to come to this location & pick up a truck for our move. Besides my reservation being moved over and over again I was very displeased with uhaul. I was supposed to pick up in Pico Rivera at 7am then one day before call me to tell me Santa Fe springs at 11 because they have no trucks. Then at Santa Fe springs at 11 im there with no truck because they didn't return it. So now I'm late, and I have no truck. Finally uhaul gets a truck but it's all the way in El monte. So I was late for everything. Won't book through uhaul again.Carlos M.

Only problem I have it with the online reservation process.. I made a reservation the nite before at a different location because it said the el monte one didn't have any available trucks so I made it at the pico Rivera location only to get there & be told that they couldn't rent to me because I was just outside of the 5 mile area & was sent back to el monte location where pedro took care of me. I had reserved a 20' truck and was not notified until 11 hours prior to my pickup time that it was not available and that if I wanted a truck at 7am I would need to drive an extra 15 miles out of my way to get one. I asked if they would be able to waive the mileage charge and he just said no. I was also told that the only truck available was a 10' truck. That made me have to make 2 trips in my move instead of one. I am not happy with the last minute change. Also when I booked my truck I was given the $50 guarantee. Do I get a $50 refund since I did not get the reservation I booked? This will most likely be the last time I use Uhaul for any of your services.joseph H.
