The truck had VERY bad brakes!!! The starter/battery were weak (very little cranking power). More expensive than ANY US flight I have ever taken and way more than any other car rental I have ever had. 10 ft truck for $1400 half way across the Country. Made it alive.

No fault to this location at all that the truck is reserved a week prior was not available from the Kokomo location. I turned the truck in same day-no one logged it. I got a call 2 days later saying it was late! No communication! Then was charge for the gas i used when I had to pick up said truck 20 miles away from my reserved location! I was told I wouldn't be charged that! I will never use this company again.

The lady that helped me was very helpful. Even though it was a last minute rental and the next day we had to extend our rental by 24 hours. We were in and out very quickly both days. And drop was very easy. Done in 5 min. I always use this location when we need a rental truck. Have not been disappointed yet.

The truck had some mechanical issues and I wasn't even sure if I should have continued to drive it. I sent a video of the shaking steering wheel to the store manager and he promptly removed it from lineup. I did manage to limp it back to rental location, but made everybody who was following a little upset because of the max speed was thirty mph. I can only guess that this particular truck was dropped off after hours and not properly inspected. To say I'd be a little nervous to rent again is a serious understatement.

I made a reservation for a 15 foot truck for October 18 on September 28th. I got confirmation that the truck would be available via text on October 17th, I then called and spoke to a woman at this location to confirm a couple of other details. At 7:30 pm on the 17th, I got a call from a woman from Indianapolis telling me that the truck was no longer available-that the closest available truck was in Warsaw-I told her that I would not drive to Warsaw to pick up a truck, she offered a 26 foot truck for the same price- did NOT get it at the 15 foot price, she also offered a $50 refund which did come through.

Very poor experience. I was called about the location in initially selected not having the size truck I needed. She changed the location 3 more times after that and I got stuck picking up a truck further away from my home. I pointed out that was very inconvenient because now it would cost me more miles I’d have to pay for and more gas. She offered a $50 refund after. I accepted. The next day I got to the U-Haul place, only to be told that the refund was only if I paid for a truck reservation and then cancelled. So she misled me. The truck itself was so beater and worn down. It was hard to keep it on the road. It had a loud grind and the brakes barely worked. When this was told to the employees when the truck was returned, they started laughing. Very poor experience.

My 4 wheeler was the only thing I had in my unit and the manager had helped me due to no elevators. So they were supposed to secure my 4 wheeler back into my unit because I am disabled and they stated they would do that for me so I left ok in there hands and I guess the ceo called and stated that they did not secure my 4 wheeler and someone came in 2 cars and stole it. I made a report with the police dept and have posted that my 4 wheeler is missing but no one has returned it or had any leads in getting my item back.

When I picked up the truck on Friday in Ft Wayne I didn’t have a great experience. I was handed keys and turned loose in a lot full of trucks to find it on my own. When I got in the truck was not very clean. Windshield covered in bugs. I also participated in a load share pulling a U Box back to Florida. The man in the lot showed me the fender on it was broke and held on with a bungi cord. By the time I reached my first stop the fender was rubbing the tire. I had to remove it to keep from damaging a tire. Then I opened the back of the truck to find trash and part of an old bed frame. Was not a great experience. Also the truck has a leaky muffler and both doors are sprung on the cab. Have to slam them to get them to shut.

This place was amazing to work with, and Bradley helped us get a U-Haul when we were having issues. I requested a 20-foot truck over 3 weeks before the date we needed it for a pickup at 10 am that morning. I got a call the day before saying that the previous location we selected did not have that size truck, and sent us to a different location. That was fine with us until we got to that other location the morning we were moving, and they did not have the truck we did a reservation for online over 3 weeks before that date. So this place sent us back to the original place on Coldwater, and when we got there, we spoke with Bradley, and he told us that they did not have that size truck and was not sure why they sent us there. We had people come out of town, driving between 2-4 hours to help us move, and you did not uphold your reservation for the truck I originally had. Luckily, Bradley was extremely kind and was able to get us a truck for later that afternoon. This was very helpful, but unfortunately, we lost some of our help because they could only help in the morning. I do not understand why making a reservation for a truck does not hold the truck for me.

I had thought my previous experience with U-Haul and trying to have a pitch installed from the industry leader of installing hitches until U-Haul gave me my money back because they were unable to install the hitch and make it work correctly. Thought that was my worst experience until this one we’ve completed it, but it was a nightmare, dealing with U-Haul again, which is becoming a very current trend dealing with U-Haul and only makes me wonder is U-Haul really losing it hold in the industry because they’re not maintaining their facilities. Their people their products it’s like they don’t care anymore. Still doing business with U-Haul just know it’s to expect a horrible experience now.

I was a bit unsure after dropping off. Instead of going out with me to check in the vehicle, do a walk through, they said they would take care of it and send me a receipt. Not sure of how to dispute any claims they may have since I left it with out seeing them sign off.

First off, the app and self pick up was confusing. Went inside to get help and the 2 people there just looked at us. The girl was visibly annoyed, but at least the guy was relatively helpful. The drop off was also confusing. The app said to scan a barcode... which one? Where do we find it? We figured it out and went to put the key in the drop box as instructed by the app. The box was open with the lock sitting inside. My husband went to hand in the key and told them about the box, from the backroom some lady snarkily retorted with "we're still open, SIR". I had used this location in the past and it had been wonderful, friendly service! I won't ever go back after the way we were treated this time. And I'm needing another rental this week to complete our move.

First my vehicle wasn't at the location I reserved it. Then I go to the other place and the don't have the size I reserved. After much to do I did finally get what I wanted but what a horrible experience.

I checked in online and system assigned me a truck on my mobile app. But a representative at the location assigned the same truck to another customer. So I got another truck from the representative which was totally fine for me. But then I realized that the truck was locked and not allowed to be rented. So I had to come back to the location and then had to wait for an hour to get another truck. Another struggle was that the representative never cancelled by original contract when they assigned me a new truck. I had to go back to the location and they told me that they will try to do that so that I don't get charged for 2 trucks. Suggestion: Please don't change the truck assignment since it causes a lot of challenges for customers later on.

Disorganized, busy correcting their kids and making scenes . Had long lines of unhappy people from them not being organized and knowing how to handle their business. That was as I arrived . Did not know how to handle u boxes. Then when I went to remove everything I booked a truck on the internet to pick up at my leisure per their ad. Supplied credit card for fees. Showed up to find they rented to someone else and gave me excuses that I was late . Rented a Penske delayed me 2 hours of my day. Would not recommend. Much better results with Penske

Carried insurance on storage unit items, on move out discovery was made of damage to a rug from the unit itself leaking strange yellow fluid. Management claimed at first to promptly be willing to pay for the damages however has done absolutely no follow up despite 4 additional contacts regarding the matter. Every time I call the office my information is taken so that “management could reach out to me” however I’ve yet to receive a single call from anyone now two weeks later.

no instructions, Staff did not know how to work the system for entry, the alarm went off when we were in and no one could reset itt. could not drop off our truckload because the alarm would always go off when the door was open. Wasted three or four hours, including the time, over an hour just to turn the truck in when we were there on Sunday

I did notice that with this room 1510 I did not have a lock in the unit, and when I went to get one and try to explain the guy at the counter was definitely not interested in anything and did not even try to help. 3 weeks into my first month with U-Haul self-storage (which is free if you rent a trailer beforehand and return it) my unit was almost cleared out by the staff. One of the employees didn’t process my storage unit correctly and my name didn’t attach to my unit so they assumed someone came by, put all of there stuff in the unit, and left. They broke my lock on the unit, went through my stuff, found my degree and learned my name but never contacted me. I went in by chance to grab a gaming console I left in MY unit and they were talking about how they had laid claim to all of my stuff and that they planned on clearing it out if I didn’t show up within 72 hours. One of the employees even mentioned she “had dibs on my tv”, I was baffled and they said they’d only give me a month for free. If this is how issues or errors are handled at U-Haul self storage I’ll never be using this again, this experience wasn’t made right in my eyes and after they attempted to sell my unit to someone else? I’m going to recommend my friends and acquaintances that they find a different self storage facility. This experience has upset me and it has added anxiety to an already stressful situation as I had just moved across the country.

They were very personable and even though I was very complicated and it seemed like nothing was going right as far as my U-Haul rental and storage rental they were very patient and helped me out tremendously. Problems the entire experience. I rented a 20 foot truck one way and was supposed to get in writing a free one month storage unit and they gave me a 10 x 10 x 7 where the capacity of the truck exceeded the amount of storage. So, I paid too much money to get the free storage unit that I could not use. Then, I had to use Public Storage not free. And the mileage costs .99 a mile from Uhaul. Now, I have to rent another truck from Uhaul and pay to get my personal property out of Public Storage not free and the mileage adds up. I would like my next rental truck in town free as they gave front loaded me mileage at rate and I paid that I lost out on never using. Theresa Slater 8104445848. Not happy.

We never received a card to get access to our storage locker and that was difficult to get into then when we tried the code I entered when we bought the locker my code was changed. Then my friend rented a uhual and y’all charged her $100 which is not correct because our charges both times we rented a truck were way less than that and she made the same trip we did for our second haul.

I was supposed to get a lower level bigger storage unit and when I went he gave us an upper level and smaller unit than what I was told. The lady working that day did help us but we were still stuck with the smaller unit and an upper level unit.
