My only concern is that the AC was very always too high. At times it worked in the front but not in the back. The first truck had roaches all over the back. When we exchanged it for another truck the lady was rude and wouldn't give us extra time since we wasted so much time bringing the truck back to exchange it. The location I originally scheduled to pick up the van didn't work out. I showed up at 10 am, and an employee was locked outside and said I would need to call UHaul and have my reservation transferred. I will never reserve a vehicle there again. But kudos to the UHaul people I spoke to on the phone, especially the schedule agent, who couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. She turned my initially bad experience into a good one. I informed the center of the issue with the plugs / tune up. as it took 68 gals of gas to make the 563 mile trip with only about 3000lbs of cargo. I am also kind of upset that I was charged for going 13 miles over the mileage allowance when U-Haul themselves changed my pickup location to 12 miles away from where I originally booked it. I informed the Return center of this as well. I would have thought that they would compensated for the additional mileage due to the change in pickup location that they did, but they apparently didn't, so I got charged for it.Timotjy W.

Daling and all employees in this U haul are excellent . I felt welcome. The Uhaul in 11 in sheridan wa also excellent and more. Specially the manager. The others in Awasso are very cold people . The man gave me the key and not even said haveca great trip and be safe. Not even look in my eyes. They not even have small smile in the face. Then I asked them if my truck and trailer has been inspected . They said yes . May be not true because we have to change 3 tires of the car trailer. The parts were coming in a pieces in the road. Uhaul reservations also bad. They were changing my reservation like crazy . Not like it was plan. Everything put me behind of my schedule. They charged $40 extra dollars in gas when I drove the 15 miles and added $3 in gas to make sure I returned exactly the same way. I'm going to fight this charge with the credit card company. This is ridiculous. I even have a picture from my cell phone of the fuel gage.Ben G.

I never had to use U-Haul till I came from Houston to Florida and I came across this facility. I thought I might use it for a couple of months, it turned out to be 7 months. I first noticed now clean the facility was and choose several climate controlled rooms, I’m glad I did. I could always enter knowing that it was fairly secure and well lit. The Manager was very rude. The truck that I rented was dirty inside and out, the gas refuel door was brokenâ€¦.I had to have the lady come out and note the damage to the truck as there were no damage stickers on it. Also, they told me that the truck had 5/8 of a tank and I get in it and there is only 1/2 tank. I took me over an hour of my time to fix their mistakes and they told me that I had to have the truck back before I could use it the entire 4 hours. The manager was rude and unapologetic. The truck I rented did not have AC, this was unacceptable and the GM didn't make any real effort to get it repaired. The quantity of blankets I rented and paid for were not available, nor was I refunded the amount I paid for the blankets I rented but did not receive. My only problem was the fact that I had a dead rat in my unit. When told the front desk they gave me a paper to call a number and make a claim. I made that claim and nobody has gotten back with me, that’s why I stop paying the storage.!Tina W. | Overall Experience

Broken elevator for two days straight while I had taken off work to move in, AC was supposed to be between 65-85 degrees but it was 90 degrees multiple times (I have pictures taken) and I paid for an air conditioned unit, multiple times there was not a push cart (only three for the whole facility, told manager and he said he would order, but two weeks later still not any new ones). I can't give a 5 star because the confusion I had to deal. When I would call for a service they would say go to this location. Then someone there would say we don't do that here try this branch. Then I drive there and they would say oh no we don't have that here try this other place. That happened at least 4 time thru out my reservation. Moved out of unit and submitted information including pictures on the website as instructed by staff at local storage site. Local storage site did not acknowledge this information. I tried calling the site multiple times per day and it always rang over to national calling center. Spoke to several different people at call center. Then I started getting late payment notices and I continued to try to call the local site to resolve this issue and every time I called site, it went to national calling center which said they would take care of it but didn't. Finally when I had time, I went back to site and was the only customer. There were two people working at the counter. The phone was ringing continuously and they ignored it. Told the worker about the issue and they closed account and said I should talk to the manager about this. Tried to talk to Walt and he was condescending and did not seem to care about the issue, the fact that his staff don't answer the phones, etc. I have used U-haul other times and never had an issue. Hopefully, this is just localized to this one site. I rented the storage unit for several years. Over the time I rented, the place deteriorated. The gates for access to the building stopped working and gates and fencing were removed. The doors to the storage building often did not shut correctly allowing access to anyone who desired. There were only four carts for unloading (had been at least twice that many when I first started renting there) and when I asked staff a while back about this, they said that customers keep breaking or taking them and they weren't planning on replacing them. Hopefully this is just an issue with this center. I would still use U-haul based on other experiences but would never go back to this site or recommend anyone to this local site as the place has deteriorated significantly and manager does not care.STEPHEN C. | Overall Experience
