Alan DWash the vans. I've rented these vans at least 3 days a week for the last few months and the outside of them is always dirty. Hose them off or something. It cost me a lot of money in a rental vans and it's embarrassing to drive them around when they're filthy

JOSE CThe trailer portion of the rental truck reeked of marijuana, to the point where it permeated all clothing and furniture. I was very concerned, if pulled over, an inspection would result in my arrest. I spoke with the customer service location that day, I also spoke with the Undersheriff of the LVMPD letting them know I was concerned I was trafficking. The truck and wheel wells reeked of marijuana a day later. Upon reaching our final destination, all clothing had to be washed and I hired a company to clean my mom's furniture. I didn't receive a call back from anyone by Friday of that week (6 days later), so I called in. They told me to expect a call from a man named Dave, the same one who was supposed to call me within 72 hours of Saturday, November 9. I spoke with David earlier today and the financial component of this transaction has been handled, but I'm incredibly dissatisfied with your response to the situation as an organization.

LUIS MEverything went well and I have to say first this is in no way a bad comment about the representative. I was just about to walk out the door to check my van in after i had waited a few minutes with the representative and another customer who had no patience and thought the world revolved around her stopped my rep and told him hey Im here to pick up my rental at 12:30 she knew he was walking out with me but he said ok and left me to help her. I get it hes in customer service that was probably a reaction. What I would have liked to have happened is the rep to explain very nicely that hes with a customer and he will be back with her. Maybe some better training on dealing with customers like that they think they are more important than the next guy. Honestly it really did tick me off at the other customer and I was a little surprised that my rep allowed her to do that. Anyways props to the young lady who helped me she made everything great very knowledgeable on the facility and your products a real professional. I could see her going places with uhaul and the other young man that helped me he was great too also knowledgeable and professional And I hope this doesnt hurt him in anyway I still give it six stars

HATCHER PNothing on which to improve. :-) I only have compliments for the staff: It was wonderful to see the employees at this site work together as a team: As the young man and I were finishing up the return process outside, the young woman had come from behind the counter with my printed receipt in hand, and met us at the door and handed my printed receipt to me just as the young man and I were getting ready to come in. By the way, check-in was very easy, especially with the opportunity I had to do some of the check-in process online the night before, and then the young woman at the counter was very speedy and efficient helping me finalize the reservation. Well done!

Luis BI had the bad experience at this office of receiving incorrect information from the staff, making me believe that I would receive a credit applied to my card when I returned the truck with more gas than I was assigned and without exceeding the required mileage. Thus, the transport was returned and I did not receive what was promised. They said that they calculated a discount but I had not yet left the place or walked to the new location, how can that be? The manager who received the truck at another location told me that he could not return the amount announced because the deal was not with that office. He recommended that I make the claim at the first one in Whittier but nothing was resolved.

Will definitely use again if we need a large pickup for buying lumber, furniture, trees/plants, etc.

FERNANDO RWas upgraded to a 26' truck from a 20' truck due to a battery issue. It was a little too large to move around on the roads and get down the driveways we needed to get to but it was manageable. I had a good experience driving the truck, it was clean when I picked up and the staff was helpful, shout out to Larry. No complaints except for the truck size but completely understandable given the circumstances. Would rent here again.

SAMUEL H1st of all, the app to pick up 26' truck kept freezing and not working. 2nd, the vehicle was beyond empty with gas. It should at least have 1/4 tank! I thought I was going to run out if gas before I got to a gas station! When I finally asked why it was empty, UHAUL employee responded, we'll that's how we got our back!

Cruz VVehicle was dirty on the inside dusty everywhere and on the dash board. Also, I was charged an extra day even though I returned the vehicle a day before required to return equipment. I did go 35 miles over the miles I paid for but at a higher cost rate then indicated on my contract plus charged an extra day.
SERENA BThe floor in the back of the truck was very greasy. A friend who helped me load and unload said he thought someone had moved motor or auto parts. His jeans got grease stains all over the knees, which was hard to get rid of.

BERNARD EThe trucks and equipment is clean but it's old. It had trouble starting couple of times. Also there was trouble with transmission where it wouldn't shift to next gear. It took 8 gallons just to drive 60 miles. The economy was barley 7 miles per gallon. Even a c lass 70 food truck gives more milage

There was also no light inside the unit and we also weren’t told that we would have pipes running through our unit as well, which made even less sense being that the units height was so low. We hit our heads painfully multiple times. Also the restroom ALWAYS smelled like a sewer leak, the closing hours were way too early for working people like ourselves and the glass doors to get in were always troublesome. It was way too expensive for all these inconveniences. Competitors are half the price.

On the other hand, one employee yelled at me because the sliding door to access storage facility had no power so door had to be open and closed manually. I assumed the front desk knew about this, but this employee yelled at me and told me I should have let him know the door wasn’t working. This incident happened this month and I have only had the storage unit since beginning of December. How was I supposed to know they didn’t know. Seems like this employee or someone that day did not bother to check everything out before opening up for business.

I was told by 2 people from your call center I could Have late access as long as I get there before they close do let them know. I got there at 10 to 5. They wouldn’t let me in. So I asked what I’m supposed to do with my full uhaul of stuff. They told me Come back tomorrow. So now I have to go back today with no help because my help I had yesterday came from 2 hours away. And I have to work today. So now o have to pay for an extra day for the uhaul and pay to hire help to unload it because of your staffs incompetency. They were very rude and unprofessional

Shane P | Overall ExperienceThe most inconvenient part of this facility is having a unit in the 2nd floor and no lift or elevator access. The lighting is fine but the timer goes out too soon. The staff for the most part was ok except for an employee named Sebastian who was really rude when I threw out trash in the bin threatening me that I could be fined 500$ for throwing out trash. Of which I had asked in the past if it was for customer use and was told yes. As there is no other trash bin option. He stared me down and made it was uncomfortable to go there. This uncomfortableness happened every time I went there. He should be taught customer service and to not be threatening!

Not only was I told that I would have 24hr access to my ingot by a phone representative, it was posted at their location. When I arrived after office hours I was locked out. Even though I did the online check in and receiveded my access code. Also, the storage location that was scheduled for me was 30 mins from where I needed. So not only did I add unnecessary miles and gas, when I called support they charged me for the extra day on the truck. I ended up paying about $100 more because a Rep told me I could access my storage unit 24 hours and didn't have the correct information. I was told that they used to be 24 hrs but not anymore.
