Truck kept giving me issues. The oil dash light came on and it was low on oil then the tire dash light turned on as well. They had the nerve to charge $10 for extra miles. Take better care of your equipment!

Counter service guy with all the tattoos gave the impression that he was being bothered that I was there to pick up my reservation. Once trailer was hooked up there was a JH parked so close to the trailer that it was impossible to get the trailer out so they had to unhook the trailer and I reparked and they moved the trailer out(JH was on a contract already and they did not have the key) and reconnected the trailer. I took off to get what I needed done. But when I got to my location there was a lot of broken glass in the trailer which should have been clean out by the center staff. I cleaned it out. I did what I needed to do. I returned and the same guy was there to and started to unhook the trailer it told him about the glass and he said nothing. Once unhooked he asked how would I like my receipt. I then asked so your not going to acknowledge what I just said about the trailer being full of glass that I had to clean out which is a SAFETY ISSSUE! He said in a very unconcerned and I don’t really care way I can’t do anything. I then asked well I guess I need to let Joe know. He said I don’t know Joe. I told him Joe Shoen. His reply ok, go ahead. I then said just email my receipt. I have also sent Joe a email in regards to this interaction which your employee.

Jimmy, the employee who met us was very rude and unhelpful. The driveway signage was confusing and rather than explain it he demanded we move our vehicle, even though it was still running with us inside trying to figure out where to go. Once the trailer was hooked up our truck was angled in such a way we needed to go to the right and follow the route marked out to the street. We asked Jimmy if he could move one of their trucks that was in the way and he told us he would move it, but if we drove that way we'd likely get a flat tire and they wouldn't be responsible. I went to look at the area and sure enough there were numerous bolts and screws laying on the ground and around their truck. Why would you not clean up and sweep the area since their are lines marked on the ground showing this as the route to the street. There was no reason for Jimmy to be so grumpy and unhelpful. We will need to rent a trailer again in January and are looking for somewhere else to get it.

Rented a 26 ft box truck. I can't exactly put the responsibility on the location itself, but the truck I rented definitely has suspension issues. It's difficult to identify any issues when you only drive the equipment a few hundred steps, but I feel like there should be actual significant milage drives to be tested on roads and freeways to identify potential mechanical hazards. I'm a 30 year class A commercial driver, and the equipment I drove would definitely be flagged for repair.

I am writing to provide feedback regarding my recent experience renting a trailer. I have been a loyal customer, choosing to rent from this location primarily due to the consistently excellent customer service, which has always significantly surpassed my experiences at the La Habra location.
Last Friday, I made my reservation in person and once again received outstanding service. However, upon picking up the trailer around 9:45 AM on Saturday, I encountered an individual whose customer service was exceptionally poor. The experience was so disheartening that I even asked if he was having a bad day, suggesting he should have stayed home.
I sincerely hope I do not have to encounter this type of behavior again. Should this occur, I will regrettably have to consider taking my business elsewhere.

The fuel needle was misleading. We added the amount of gallons required to get to the 3/4 tank and it didn't show that it took the gas. Waited 5 minutes and still nothing. We filled more gallons of gas and the gas noozle clicked when it filled the tank. We turned on the van again and showed a small jump. We drove it back to the store to drop off and the gas needle was well over the 3/4 tank required. Basically I paid way more for gas than I needed to and was very frustrating after moving a whole bunch of crap in th morning/early afternoon. This honestly made me really upset

Representative on site was dismissive, short with customers and rude. One man in line asked if there was someone to help with propane, the rep said, "You can wait your turn in line". The guy left. I didn't blame him. When it was my turn he said he needed to take my picture for the truck rental. This was my 5th truck rental in two months from two different locations. No one had asked before. I told him that and he said, "it's standard procedure, you got a problem with that?". I won't be back.

We did not book our rental at this location. We booked at a location close to our home. U haul had poor communication to let us know the location changed, just one voicemail, no text, no alert on the app, no text, and no attempt to reach us a second time. This location was 25 miles out of the the way and due to this caused us to invite more charges due to more mileage. I won't be renting from U haul again.

Units are small. Narrow and difficult to load. Limited vertically by a fence. So tons of dust fell on my stuff. For almost $200 a month I expected a little better unit than I got. But the staff was friendly and helpful. And access was easy and good. No real complaints about controllable issues. Just would have gone somewhere closer to home and a little nicer if it wasn’t for 1 month free.

I was just about to walk out the door to check my van in after i had waited a few minutes with the representative and another customer who had no patience and thought the world revolved around her stopped my rep and told him hey Im here to pick up my rental at 12:30 she knew he was walking out with me but he said ok and left me to help her. I get it hes in customer service that was probably a reaction. What I would have liked to have happened is the rep to explain very nicely that hes with a customer and he will be back with her. Maybe some better training on dealing with customers like that they think they are more important than the next guy. Honestly it really did tick me off at the other customer and I was a little surprised that my rep allowed her to do that. Anyways props to the young lady who helped me she made everything great very knowledgeable on the facility and your products a real professional. I could see her going places with uhaul and the other young man that helped me he was great too also knowledgeable and professional And I hope this doesnt hurt him in anyway I still give it six stars

It was the size that we wanted, but we weren’t told that the height was so small that our refrigerator would not fit through the door. There was also no light inside the unit and we also weren’t told that we would have pipes running through our unit as well, which made even less sense being that the units height was so low. We hit our heads painfully multiple times. Also the restroom ALWAYS smelled like a sewer leak, the closing hours were way too early for working people like ourselves and the glass doors to get in were always troublesome. It was way too expensive for all these inconveniences. Competitors are half the price.

I’ve used other storage facilities in the past. I didn’t expect too much from any of them and wasn’t treated like a valued customer. At uhaul from the very start I things were smooth. Truck was returned to my new storage no problem. Online reservation without ANY complications. Need any rules or questions clarified always atleast one employee avail to assist . Knowing my belongings were secure eased the transition auto pay monthly took away the stress of having to go in to pay I can go on forever best experience I’ve ever had with a storage facility thanks UHAUL

I wish there were longer hours to access the storage facility.
The two employees I have dealt with most often have been very helpful.
On the other hand, one employee yelled at me because the sliding door to access storage facility had no power so door had to be open and closed manually. I assumed the front desk knew about this, but this employee yelled at me and told me I should have let him know the door wasn’t working. This incident happened this month and I have only had the storage unit since beginning of December.
How was I supposed to know they didn’t know. Seems like this employee or someone that day did not bother to check everything out before opening up for business.

I called to find out what the latest time was to move my stuff into my storage. I was told by 2 people from your call center I could Have late access as long as I get there before they close do let them know. I got there at 10 to 5. They wouldn’t let me in. So I asked what I’m supposed to do with my full uhaul of stuff. They told me
Come back tomorrow. So now I have to go back today with no help because my help I had yesterday came from 2 hours away. And I have to work today. So now o have to pay for an extra day for the uhaul and pay to hire help to unload it because of your staffs incompetency. They were very rude and unprofessional

The most inconvenient part of this facility is having a unit in the 2nd floor and no lift or elevator access. The lighting is fine but the timer goes out too soon.
The staff for the most part was ok except for an employee named Sebastian who was really rude when I threw out trash in the bin threatening me that I could be fined 500$ for throwing out trash. Of which I had asked in the past if it was for customer use and was told yes. As there is no other trash bin option. He stared me down and made it was uncomfortable to go there. This uncomfortableness happened every time I went there. He should be taught customer service and to not be threatening!

The workers at the storage unit were great and very helpful. The online experience was horrible, it kept hitting me out and not taking my information. I was misinformed. Not only was I told that I would have 24hr access to my ingot by a phone representative, it was posted at their location. When I arrived after office hours I was locked out. Even though I did the online check in and receiveded my access code. Also, the storage location that was scheduled for me was 30 mins from where I needed. So not only did I add unnecessary miles and gas, when I called support they charged me for the extra day on the truck. I ended up paying about $100 more because a Rep told me I could access my storage unit 24 hours and didn't have the correct information. I was told that they used to be 24 hrs but not anymore.

The biggest problem is the fact there is no elevator and furniture is heavy. It slows down the movers.

When I tried to call there very rarely picked up the phone. My items removed from storage facility had mouse poop on it and I did not bring it with mouse poop. However, staff were friendly and helpful.

The facility has a major flaw in design with only one place to get in and out so one truck loading or unloading blocks easy access to others. The toilet was backed up. Staff was good though busy.
