Wasn't told the truck I rented didn't have a ramp. I thought all trucks had ramps and so did everyone with me. I had to move furniture in and out of the truck, with no ramp, and I'm 63! Not good customer services. Should have been warned. If all it other trucks have them I would have rented a larger one just to get the ramp.susan W.

Make your agents have a happy disposition. No one smiles, no one makes you smile. It matters. Also, prices are too high. Not for the rental, but everything is an added high expense. Ours went from estimated $45. To 368$. Plus &145 for gas. That's nuts. Won't be using U-Haul againIgnacio T.

i made my reservation at Pico Rivera and when I arrived for pick up it wasn't available. so they sent me to South Whittier which was 30 minutes out of my way and when I arrived at the Whitter location the truck only had 1/16 of a tank of fuel. I know the other party got charged for bringing it back empty so why didn't they put fuel in it? Do you folks understand what a pain in the ass it is searching for a service station you can get into with a 26 ft truck that is out of fuel? I also feel that if a customer has to go out of there way to pick up a rental because of a U haul mistake the should credit the difference on the mileage. fee. I've been renting from U haul for years but I have to say the last couple of times have been a disappointment.Jeffrey F.

I was rented trailer and resved for 3:30 and call and ask if I pick up early will my drop of time will be changed one location told me 3:30 is your drop of time but drop of before and still charge a extra day they said I was 9 minutes late and I told them am more than a hour early they told me I was charge One more day I hope some one can contact me to resolve the issue both different locations inform meCathy R.

The Whittier U-Haul location does a great job and the staff there has always been friendly and helpful. My only complaint with U-Haul is that when I take the time to pre-register my rental using the U-Haul website, it saves me ZERO time when checking out the equipment since the staff has to go through the entire process again, even though it's all in the computer already. It's like this at both U-Haul locations I've used, so I have to conclude it's a system design issue - not a training issue.Walter P.

The staff in Whittier was great. The manager was so nice. I needed the trailer I rented one extra day, I called and was transferred to the call center, when I asked if it was available they yelled and me and said if I unexpectedly kept a rental again, that u-haul would never rent to me again. They made me feel really bad saying I displaced a family. I had only called to see if the trailer was available, I didn't need to be treated like that. I drove by the same uhaul and there was plenty of trailers there. I felt so bad.Rosalie H.

I reserved my trailer at the Pico Rivera CA location only to find when I arrived that my reservation had been changed without being notified. I had to go 17 miles (round trip) out of my way to pick up the trailer. I will not be doing business with Pico Revera again!JAMES S.

The most inconvenient part of this facility is having a unit in the 2nd floor and no lift or elevator access. The lighting is fine but the timer goes out too soon. The staff for the most part was ok except for an employee named Sebastian who was really rude when I threw out trash in the bin threatening me that I could be fined 500$ for throwing out trash. Of which I had asked in the past if it was for customer use and was told yes. As there is no other trash bin option. He stared me down and made it was uncomfortable to go there. The workers at the storage unit were great and very helpful. The online experience was horrible, it kept hitting me out and not taking my information. I was misinformed. Not only was I told that I would have 24hr access to my ingot by a phone representative, it was posted at their location. When I arrived after office hours I was locked out. Even though I did the online check in and receiveded my access code. Also, the storage location that was scheduled for me was 30 mins from where I needed. So not only did I add unnecessary miles and gas, when I called support they charged me for the extra day on the truck. I ended up paying about $100 more because a Rep told me I could access my storage unit 24 hours and didn't have the correct information.
