Overcharged and the people working there have no idea what's going on. We were called asking if we were returning the rental (hours before it was due) because they had assigned us the wrong truck. So far this is been the best location to rent a trailer. The equipment is in great shape and the employees are well trained and very easy to deal withPhilip F.
Please make sure codes are right for the 24/7 lockbox option. Make sure transactions are accurate and specific to the individual before processing orders. Also ensure communication is made easier between customer, your facility and its employees, and uhual 1800 customer service. Make sure communication is done with employees first before questioning the customer about keys. Better training for employees to handle customer situations and being able to have a manager on call if they dont know what to do, so orders can be handled properly and timely.Michael S.

Very upset, original reservation was for hartford ct, was redirected within 1hr of pick up to go to a location 30min away from there to pick up truck and AT. Drove 45min out there just to be told the AT was not even there. Was redirected to location that was 50minaway. Used my own personal money and gas to drive to meriden location and they over charged me. Uhaul Reservation which I have documentation was for $702. I was charged at pick up of truck $842.00 Extremely upset and as a military disability Veteran absolutely no respect was given at the meriden location. Very very unsatisfied. Staff was extremely untrained, Vehicle had more mileage on it than reported and less gas than reported, when I tried to correct this the only staff on hand was unable to change it in the system, He repeatedly attempted to facetime or call his manager on his personal cell phone that had no service. I rented the cargo van there ro van put the same amount of gas that was in it when I rented it which was hardly I'd say an eighth of a tank I thought it was empty but the girl came out and said no it wasn't I drove it 17 miles went to the gas station right next to there and returned it with the same amount of gas yet I was charged for gas that I put in the vehicle that I didn't use cuz I replaced itKATHERINE C.

Well for one have the right equipment I reserved and two have the store open at the time it says it opens. They said the store hours where 7 to 7 and I showed up at 7 no one was there until like 7:15. And when I showed up the next day around 7 no one was there to check in the equipment. So I did the online check in and left around 7:30. The store hours on Sunday are 7am-5pm posted on the door. I left at 7:30 and no one was there yet.ALLEN S.
Issues with entering the unit had I waited until after hours which I had planned to do I wouldn’t have had access to the until to unload the truck we rented in time for the next day return. My code didn’t work to get in so I called the office and they were open I had to go get a card to get in I go back down to the unit and there was a note stating there was a lock included but not in the unit itself I called the office again, same person I spoke to about access, she stated I had to go back up and retrieve the lock… just a bit annoyed with the customer service and lack of attention to detail.Maria I. | Online Move In

Train management and employees better for a better customer service and customer satisfaction. They weren't oriented on their duties also, management wasn't the best. I rented a truck for two days and before I brought it back I asked the guy behind the desk if I needed to clean it or would I be charged for cleaning and the guy said "NO". So I asked if I would be charged for a second day because I had it two days and the guy said "NO YOU'RE ALL SET". I wish I got his name!! So of course I checked my card and there were more charges- $65. The truck was $19.95, the insurance was $14 so I'm wondering why so much and I call them and there is a cleaning Fee and another days charges. I don't expect anything for free, I had it for 2 days and have no problem paying for 2 days but I don't feel I owe for cleaning because I would have cleaned it myself if he had said I would be charged for it.Rhonda S.

the equipment was clean but I think they should go over the maintenance of there trucks a little better. I rented a 15 ft van with ramp and everything was good except seat had a good tear in driver side. The steering wheel was very loose well driving making truck a little uneasy. I reserved my unit a month in advance. I was not informed that i would not get a unit size as requested and reserved and only found this out the sat of my move which made the situation stressful. The facility did not even have the unit size that I needed. I then needed to reserve TWO smaller units at a combined higher price than I wanted/needed to pay.
