Employees had no idea what was going on and lost our rental due to things being lost and having to come here. We were only compensated 20 mi for the exchange of having to move stores when it took more time in money we had to be on the road as well as money for gas. This has been the most disgusting experience of my life. I will never again do any business with uhaul and I feel I should be refunded all payments made. You kept my container after no less than two interactions where it was agreed the container would ship with the other one. You kept it there and have ruined FFR my move. Ratchet tie downs on auto transport rusty hard to operate .WILLIAM P.
We had a lot of issues with this service. First when they went to charge for shipping cost changed from $1870 to $2457. I call Jason at the Concord store because that is were I started from. He did manage to get that corrected. Then when we got to Port Orange the Sanford locations delivery truck was broken and they told us we could rent a truck to come get the pods in Sanford or unload pods into a truck there. But we would have to arrange all of that. After a few phone call to them about this mess not being our problem but there problem. Then they finally loaded the pods on to a trailer and delivered them to us on the trailer they were not able to take them off the trailer. Which meant that it took up all of are driveway for parking. This caused issues at trailer park with our vehicles. So overall the experience was not a pleasant one. But the person who dropped off and picked up the pods were very good just process was very bad. And was very successful for us. We had help to unload the pods they were returning back to NH on Wednesday that is why the pods had to be delivered for Tuesday.marylou P.
After driving away with our rental we made it 13 miles and realized the fuel tank was on empty after our documents said half a tank of gas. We thought something was wrong with the van. We called the location and was asked by the employee if we clicked a link before we left. This was the first time anyone mentioned that this was a step that needed to be done and the link went nowhere when we did attempt to click it. Clearly we assumed that the information that was given to us by the employees was correct in regards to if there was gas in the vehicle. No vehicle should have been rented with that low of a fuel tank. The response from the customer service was basically oh well.Mary S.

I have rented here in the past without issue. This last time I rented a truck for just a few hours, and only went about 15 miles. U-Haul is trying to charge my credit card over $4500.00 because of some mistake made in the system. On top of that, they are trying to add a Late Fee! I have made calls to the location, and was told it would be corrected and someone would call me back. Nobody ever calls back. Now I have been on hold for nearly 45 minute with customer service. I should not have to make multiple phone calls and spend hours on the phone trying to correct this! The only reason my credit card wasn't charged this bogus fee is because they recognized it as a SCAMChristopher and M.
There should be more then one person on a weekend. We got there at 9:00am on Sunday to pick up truck and waited over an hour. There was one person working at the desk and 7 people ahead of us. That had set us back on moving. I am not happy of that situation. Then at the counter it smelled like someone had smoke pot. In the past, I had always purchased the blankets which I believe U-Haul calls pads. I always purchase them for $5 for six and usually got two packs for $10 and got 12. These are items that I had purchased and kept after renting the vehicle. When I got to this location, I explained that's what I was looking for and never noticed that they were treated as rentals. This had never happened in the past to me and I was quite surprised when I got back and they were looking for me to return them. The gentleman who checked over the vehicle was actually very rude to me. I felt threatened and informed him that I could not defend myself from them ripping me off financially and wish to call the police. I don't know if U-Haul changed its policy or if in the past the transactions were treated differently but I believed I was buying the pads when I paid for them, I realize now that I reviewed the initial receipt that that is not what it said. It is however what I indicated to the sales associate when I was renting the vehicle. I indicated what I had done in the past and that I wanted to do it again and he said absolutely, it took them a few minutes to figure out how to do it but I was assured that I was getting what I asked for which was to purchase the pads. I definitely felt attacked and stood up for myself. After indicating that I intended to call the police to report being ripped off, the staff at this location was very disrespectful to me. As I said, I had bought pads numerous times from multiple locations. I was told it was the same as those times. They treated me as if I was an idiot. I told them that I felt threatened and that I could not defend myself because I used to be a professional fighter and could never engage in public with anybody. Once telling them I could not engage, the associate got real cocky and started getting back in my face. I simply wanted to know what I was going to be charged even though I did not agree with the charge because in my eyes I had purchased the items and not rented them. The manager got involved and also got in my face. I felt threatened by her as well. Again I cannot do anything and was ultimately charged a ridiculous amount for pads I had purchased in my eyes. I encourage you to review previous rentals in my name, I have never returned and always bought them. I'm wondering if I was "renting" all along thinking I was buying them. Either way, the staff was rude about it and at the rental time claimed I was doing as I always had, why wouldn't I keep items I purchased as I had purchased before. I was then charged more than the vehicle rental for items the associate told me I had bought. I would like a refund and an apology from the store manager and both associates involved.Jeffrey M.

It wasn't clear in the initial sign up that upon arrival I needed to have two contacts listed. Also, why was my password â€œ SENTâ€ for the key code?? I kept checking my email to check for the sent password when it turns out ths password was indeed sent!! Pick another password to avoid people waiting in cold for half hour.Jeffrey B.
Picked up rental around 2;30PM and returned it around 4:45PM, all while the store was open. I then got charged $20 for an â€œafter hoursâ€ return fee. I don't know how that happens when I have the rental for a little over 2 hours and your employee hooked up and removed it for me. It makes me wonder if they purposely do this to squeeze a little extra money from the customers. Make sure you check your emailed receipts after renting from here.Mike Z.

The manager of this location is excellent and this is a very nice location with lots of capabilities. My suggestion would be to keep the vehicles full. My rental was at 3/8 of a tank and it's hard to return with the exact same amount but if you are over, there is no credit.DAVID D.

NOT a location fault, but doing long one-way move in an older model truck where you can't pair your smartphone with the in-dash is an inconvenience. I did the same one way rental a month ago (distance, NH to PA) and I and had a newer truck with bluetooth pairing function; while for an in-town move this is a mere convenience for a long trip it becomes almost a necessity.DENIS D.
